Great leisure centre to enjoy workouts such as gym, spinning classes, rockclimbing, Spa, and many others

Great climbing centre with a variety of walls aimed at a range of different abilities. There’s a bouldering area, rope climbing area and training area (upstairs). The climbing centre offer a range of options from classes for 4 year olds, to beginner lessons to adults. If you already know how to climb, you can turn up and climb after a 5 minute ability test. If you need kit, most of it is rentable. Or you can bring your own equipment if you have it. The centre is generally busy in the mornings on the weekend and after school. But later in the evening is quieter.

I go to the physio clinic at the stadium. The facilities are very good, treatment rooms clean, tidy and warm!. Sat in the cafe for a while afterwards, lounge chairs are looking very worn. Should be replaced if the high standards are to be kept.

Just had an amazing experience at this gym that warrants five stars. First the staff member in the reception was very helpful and, although I had forgotten my membership card, she let me in by checking my name on the system. Then the trainer in the gym was incredibly supportive, demonstrating several exercises for lower back muscles and pain. Then, to top it all, I forgot my mobile phone in the locker, and a couple of hours later the duty manager showed up at my place to drop off the phone! These people really go the extra mile and deserve my praise!

We went for lunch but at 3pm and it was delightfully quiet. Good selection for the carvery and window seats overlooking the playing field. We got the last parking space so goodness knows where you park when it's busy.

Tennis and climbing are the clear focus and fitness etc... No pool to give more variety. Nice cafe and viewing area. Run very well with good training options for all ages. Calling is a hassle buy worth it.

The old squash courts are freezing cold and, depending on the weather, the walls get slippery with damp, which is frankly dangerous. The new courts are better but, whilst all the courts have normal height ceilings, light and ventilation fixtures are suspended into the space making lob shots impossible. All in all, the worst squash courts I've ever come across. Still worth a two star because of the excellent service from the staff. I'm sure it's a great place to go if you're not playing squash.

I went here with my seven year old daughter to do climbing. The staff were really friendly and helpful in sorting out the best type of climbing as a first timer. The space is really nicely laid out with sofas in the middle for comfortable viewing. If they run out of spaces they can book you into their other centre which is not that far away in Crawley. They also have make your own fresh coffee filters for a £1! There is plenty of free parking. Another large cafe upstairs in the main centre. The Sportsman pub is next door that does great value Sunday roasts. Ideal for a family outing 2 adults and 2 children (do the rock box!) followed by Sunday roast next door!

Went climbing with a friend and his kid. Lots of routes and knowledgeable staff. Seems clean and well maintained. A good fun afternoon.

Well equipped gym with helpful staff. The women's changing room is spacious and clean and includes a sauna and shower cubicles. There are variety of classes to choose from which is included in the membership fee. There is a rock climbing centre, squash and tennis court available to book for extra. There is a little cafe area where they offer refreshments and snacks. I personally enjoy the classes rather than the gym as it's a lot more fun and the instructors are very professional and friendly.

Really good gym, lots of different equipment, great power rack area and not normally too busy. The only downside I have found is that after work they seem to often have classes that use all of the bodyweight workout area. Not a prob the rest of the time.

The Entrance and Departure turnstile is a complete menace, especially when staff are busy, it's like going into Fort Knox. The other day I waited 10 minutes for someone to let me in while member of staff was talking to a customer, and another 15 mins to get out, all I wanted was to go to the Loo. No Toilets on the entrance level, one has to search downstairs for it. No Toilet Directions. Excellent Large Car Park.

PARK AND RIDE REVIEW ONLY. Worked well for two of us, easy parking, short wait for bus, bit of a long drive into centre but it's a bus! Ticket allowed us to use other buses within Brighton so we walked from town centre to the marina, and then used our P&R ticket on a different bus to get back into town centre. All for less than a tenner for two people. If that means I don't have to drive into the chaos of the city centre, and I get other buses thrown in for free, I think it's a bargain..!

Not as good as the Saltdean Carvery and always MUCH louder which isn't great for me as someone who is hard of hearing. But otherwise its a good carvery.

At first I loved this gym, but they did not freeze my membership upon request and continued to charge me. They proceeded to not answer my emails or call me back to arrange a refund when they said they would. After multiple phone calls, emails and requests I never got my £90 back. This disregard for their members and terrible customer services caused me to leave entirely.

Good classes with very good instructors, but you need to book early as the classes are very popular, otherwise you're unlikely to get in. Bags and coats are left around the studio floor when you're in the classes which the company has been made aware of, but hasn't been resolved. They get in the way. The whole of the ground floor is filthy. The gym is well equipped. The gym instructors just stand about, chit chatting to each other or they're on their phones. The gym is absolutely disgusting. If they do have a cleaner, then they need to learn how to clean. Poor management.

A decent gym overall, with a good range of equipment and a nice variety of classes. Points of criticism are: 1) The ticket machine used for entry is a pointless waste of paper. 2) The gym should stay open later on weekends. 3) Tennis is an extortionate price, even for members. 4) Broken machines in the gym are not fixed for weeks/months. 5) The changing rooms could be cleaner

Free parking, gym has been extended and refurbished very well, lots of good equipment and exercise studios for many types of classes, also indoor and outdoor tennis, running track and squash courts. The staff are friendly professional and helpful, altogether a great place to exercise and keep fit.

The classes and class instructors are very good. The gym is well equipped although not enough mat space. The reason for 1 star is that the gym is absolutely filthy. The equipment is sticky and I doubt whether the pilates balls and mats have ever been cleaned. There are paper towels to wipe machines but no cleaning materials. The staff seem to spend their time chatting to each other rather than doing any work. I have never been to such a dirty gym. Poor management.

Brilliant facilities and team where there is real community. A better alternative to overpriced corporate health clubs and soulless budgets where you might as well be invisible.

The main stand has had some work done to it, so there is now plenty of places to sit. The toilets still need some work as does the far bank, but it's certainly better than it was when I visited a year ago

Well equipped for a council gym with some very nice power racks and a nice "functional training" frame, though some equipment not ideal for purpose (inflatable hyperextension table, for example, is awful, and Olympic lifting platforms aren't ACTUALLY Olympic lifting platforms, they just look them). Other facilities good too, impressive climbing center attached. Friendly staff, and reasonably priced for memberships but single visits very pricey.v
