I love Led Zeppelin and was so pleased when Dazed and Confused began playing as I lifted the pump to fill my car with Ultimate Diesel.I was wishing my fuel tank was bigger so I could hear the whole song,when I realised the sound was coming from the Citroen 2CV behind me!.Its funny but when I went to pay the man behind the counter looked just like Ravi Shankar!.It was like being at Woodstock.......except there were only three hippies on the forecourt...

As petrol stations go this is one of the good ones. The staff are always polite and helpful. The shop is always stocked up. The toilet facilities are always clean considering the amount of people that stop to use them, many service stations do not have these. The pump areas are always being cleaned and always someone there to fill up for you.

Visited this place to buy a pint of milk. The milk I bought was sour almost like yoghurt. Turns out they switch off refrigerators in order to pinch extra pennies.. Avoid buying food here as it most likely will be spoiled.

As always, the member of staff was cheerful, polite and patient, and so, even if you are in a queue of 11 people, you do not complain because it is not his fault that the customer is constantly changing her mind as to which type of lottery card she wishes to buy and there is only one person serving. Incidentally, if you have spent more than£30/£35 pounds (one or the other) on fuel, be sure to ask for your Little Book of BIG REWARDS with discount coupons worth up to £50. You will not be offered it and it is hidden away behind a corner of the counter.

This is the 2nd time i have tried to visit this Shell garage during a weekday lunchtime and both times it has been shut for no apparent reasons. There is an Esso just round the corner which is much more reliable

I live opposite this store and have been a daily customer and until today I had very positive experiences and would particularly commend the staff on their manner. However, this afternoon on checking my receipt I was dismayed to find I had been overcharged for 2 separate 'deal' items. I returned to the shop and after raising my query politely with the staff member on staff I was left to wait while he dealt with 7 customers before returning to me. It transpires that the items that I purchased in the various deals, despite appearing on shelves with the deals advertised in large signage to the front, are not actually included in the deals. Had I looked at the much smaller images on the deals I would have seen that everything else on the shelf except the Mars bar is included and likewise with a cider deal. I appreciate that there are terms and conditions but I cannot escape the sense of feeling 'done' - the signage was an enticement to an offer that didn't apply to the stock it covered. It's only a matter of £2.50 but I'm disappointed, not to mention annoyed at having to wait for 15 minutes to have this explained to me. I won't be going back.
