Had a problem with my Tig welder, they helped me solve the problem over the phone. Brilliant service! No expensive repair or waiting just a new torch is all that was required!

Customer service is extremely poor. It would be good to avoid buying online from Engweld, because their whole online ordering system is extremely bad. I placed an order for two boxes of respirators, which appeared on the website as being in stock. They do NOT have a separate warehouse for online orders, but deliver them from stores as they can and as they want. So, they sent me two packages (the boxes were huge and almost empty, they got hit and squeezed) with these two packs of respirators, because they sent them from two different stores, without asking me if it's ok and without notifying me in any way. After placing the order, you will only receive an automatic delivery confirmation e-mail, but without a tracking number, without knowing that in fact two packages will come and not one as it should be. Because on the first package they attached the invoice with both products, although there was only one product, I had to pay VAT and customs duties in vain when the packages arrived at my address, because I ordered them outside the UK. I sent them an e-mail asking them to explain the situation to me and give me a refund, being clearly their fault that they attached the wrong invoice and that they did not notify me about the two deliveries instead of one and me -they responded in a very unprofessional way, and then after I answered in my turn and asked them for additional details they did not respond at all to e-mails, so including the way of managing the problems is the lower quality level.

They promise a 24 Hour delivery. Yea Sure ! Ordered Wednesday, told Friday delivery, which didn't turn up. Eventually managed to get a call from Smethwick and told earliest would be Tuesday NEXT week, thats almost 7 days ! I mean, what could be so hard ? You pay for it but can't get it as advertised !

Guy at the till sounds like he's gonna collapse. really strange layout to the building and pretty much expected to handle the gas bottles myself. which doesn't bother me but the attitude of the staff is rubbish. I can only compare this shoddy company to that of BOC in aston. so much better. trouble is energas lock you in to a two year contract, so, you're screwed.... imo, avoid these guys.
