Trying to get refund for clothing ordered over 6 months ago, keep being promised a refund making phone calls told lies sent emails no replies. The owner Sam talks a good games but in fact he’s a liar and a cheat he thinks he’s cleaver unfortunately if you don’t deliver customers get upset if you don’t pay customers money back for orderers not delivered they get upset. I wouldn’t do business with them again and would recommend avoiding this company at all costs!

I ordered some items from Safety Wear & Signs, and was surprised at the level of service, the item was the cheapest I could find anywhere and usually with that type of price you expect a low level of service, however the items did arrive very quickly after I ordered. Well within the 10-14 working days stated.
Not only did I receive the parcels quickly but they were sent with a reliable courier, who insisted upon a signature. Great work!

Took over 5 weeks to deliver this item to me. I could not get hold of them for love nor money to find out where the items were. They arrived to late so I had ordered these standard H&S signs elsewhere. I tried contacting them again to say I wanted to return them, but they don't answer the phone or emails! So I sent them back. They are now claiming that these are 'Custom signs' so won't let me return the goods. There is nothing custom about them! I clicked that I wanted them and that was it! Now they have just sent me the signs back and still haven't replied to my emails. They seem like money grabbing buggers! So make sure you actually want whatever it is you are ordering as they won't give you your money back!

Not overly helpful . They claim they supply Northbrook college overalls but, having purchased the overalls, the college have said they are not suitable as aren’t branded with college name ( even wrong colour despite telling staff the course my son was doing - aircraft maintenance ). Either the college shouldn’t send students there or the staff need to be aware of the correct overalls for the college and course and make them available . Will not even take them back as not in the plastic bag despite being unworn!

I am still waiting for my refund for order 1812.
I would not use this lot for anything.
I placed an order in March for 2 work wear jackets and they kept on blagging me they will be arriving soon.
2 1/2 moths have passed and have been using the same excuse.
No I have asked for a refund as I can no longer wait, and they are still blagging it saying it will be in my account in 5 working days . Over a month has passed and still no refund.
Please note I have called the numerous times.
So you reputation is worth £142.34 as that’s what you still owe me.
I have now got Visa Card involved.

AVOID like the plague. Ordered over £1000 worth of branded workwear in December and finally received the order in dribs and drabs in February. Lots of incorrect printing, sizes and just the wrong items. Sent lots of items back worth a few hundred pounds back in early March and promised a refund. I'M STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND in July. Despite at least 10 phone calls and multiple emails I just keep getting back excuses.

i HOPE i just got unlucky here. I ordered an item that turned out never to have been in stock and was discontinued- this was in late february. Order was cancelled, but no refund given. eventually, today- so MID MAY after LOADS of (proactive on my side) calls, emails, being fobbed off with obvious excuses, being told i'd be called back that day then NOTHING, being told my bank was to blame, being told Sagepay was to blame, being told the credit card machine was broken so they couldn't issue a refund while i was on the phone, being told they'd send a cheque but not being contacted by the person with authority to do so- i EVENTUALLY got my money back by raising a credit card dispute with mastercard. it's only £60 so it's not the end of the world, but it could have been handled MUCH better, including by simply not listing items you don't have in stock (it's still listed for sale online last time i checked a couple of weeks ago) - REALLY disappointed, would not recommend these guys at all unfortunately.

Great store for getting safety wear or any workwear for that matter.
They sell trousers, polos, t shirts, steel toe boots, normal boots and lots of gear related to safety i.e. glasses, helmets and gloves etc.
They have great stock of sizes and brands all at decent prices all whilst being on a easy to reach high street with very good opening hours and days too.
Nice polite staff and have visited this shop 3 times in the last year. Would definitely recommend. 5/5.

Do not use this web site. I am starting legal proceedings to recover my money. Bailiffs will be knocking on there door in 7 to 10 days. Such poor service. I have been waiting 3 months for a refund. When i have called they are full of promises. No email response. Disappointed

Truly exceptional!
Many online suppliers use the trick of exceeding expectation which seems almost expected these days (like saying 3 day delivery and you receive it the next day).
I don't think SW&S use this device cynically, they are just NICE PEOPLE.
It is SO REFRESHING to find an internet-based company offering smashing prices where you can actually telephone and speak to a YOOMAN BEING.
Considering that they were offering the best price anywhere nationally for the boots I needed, I was so pleased to also receive friendly, informative and humorous advice directly over the phone (with no phone menu system).
To top it all, I received an unexpected extra in with my order.
I can only report my experience with this firm as BLINDING!

I don’t often leave reviews, but this company really annoyed me. I ordered £168 of clothing online and paid with PayPal. After a week, and no delivery or even a courtesy email to give me an eta - I sent an email to chase the order up. No response. I sent a message via PayPal control centre, no response. No response to a repeat message. So I escalated to a PayPal claim. I had to wait about 10 days while they were given an opportunity to respond, they didn’t respond, and I got my money back when PayPal settled in my favour. The question is, what kind of sales company doesn’t respond to messages like these? Ultimately I got my money back but genuinely the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. If the owner does read this - you need to look at how/why you and your staff are missing/ignoring incoming purchases and messages! Retail needn’t be difficult - someone gives you money and you send goods in return!
In summary, I’d say avoid because when you start to do a bit of web research on reviews - you discover they seem to pull this kind of thing quite regularly.

Very poor customer relations , purchased items on 17/1/18 (€293.35 )and have not received items . I have phoned several times from Ireland and spoke to both Steve and Sam regarding refund and still not sorted after several promises , Sam even hung up on me last week . Very poor service

I don't know where they get there lead times from all I can say is they are not just a day or two late but several weeks. Colours were wrong and logo on the sleeves were missing. Of course you have to pay in full when you place an order
So you are tied.from a very disappointed customer think twice before ordering
