Lovely people. Ashley took me and my son to a pool where he gave my son a free try before you buy lesson. We booked 3 dives together. Dived with Alix who was great with my son and very well informed and safety conscious and good fun. Boat was big and modern. Food was best ive ever had on a dive. Loads to see in great dive sites. Top outfit.

One of the best diving experiences so far. What a wonderful staff, very professional, helpful, kind, and pleasant. Nung, our dive master, was phenomenal! She even took pictures of us while diving and shared them with us, no charge.
The boat was fast and very comfortable. The crew was impressively competent and organized. They were like a well oiled machine, but always sweet and fun. The captain was excellent, handled the ship through a bad storm on the way back with no worries.
Finally, not many might care about this, but they made an effort to generate the least amount of trash during the trip. All water cups, plates, utensils, etc. were reusable.
It’s just a bit more expensive than the rest, but it’s 3 dives, not just 2. Totally worth it!
We felt safe and taken care of the whole time.
All we can say is THANK YOU! What a wonderful day!

I can’t speak highly enough about these guys. My wife and I are total amateurs and went on a discovery dive with them today. They were professional, helpful, timely, clean and everything else you could want in a scuba crew. They taught us the ropes and then monitored us during the day’s three dives (which were beautiful by the way). When we go back to get our certification, I can’t imagine us going anywhere else. Oh, also, just so you don’t think “oh well this opinion is from a bunch of noobs who don’t have anything to compare this to - my parents were with us and they have been diving for like 20 years and they said this was one of the best crews they’ve ever dived with.

I signed up to do the Advanced Open water certification with Aussie Divers. I was diving after a gap of 6 odd years, so was a little apprehensive in the beginning. But after two days and six dives, I do not have words to describe how fantastic the experience was and how great I feel. I think diving with Aussie Divers has been the highlight of my trip to Phuket. They were highly professional yet friendly, equipment was first class and superb planning. Big shout out to Lara for making the dives memorable and enjoyable! I would come to Phuket just to dive with you guys again! Cheers.

There’s a very good reason that Aussie Divers has all 5 star reviews with >150 reviews: they are amazing. From booking and getting information to the training, to the gear used, to the boats, to the people in the office, to the entire service and most importantly the instructors. Lara was my instructor and she is amazing. I always felt extremely safe with her and comfortable and also had a blast with her too. Definitely get the photos as an add-on too! Really excellent course and really good fun getting the qualifications. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Amazing place. If you want to Scuba dive in Phuket, please do go here with your entire trust. I was very well received by Simon. He was very helpful. We did a free pool session in which he accurately explained us about the steps involved in Scuba diving. Eventually due to the circumstances we couldn’t do the dive after the session. Still, Simon was very helpful and supportive. On top of that, we weren’t charged. I would definitely without any doubt recommend you.

I’m a new diver and so I dove one-on-one with Chris. He was so good with me, making sure to remind me how to do things and pointed out really cool fish. Overall 100/100. If you're thinking of visiting phuket for diving, do it! And If you're wondering who to book with, look no further! Aussie divers is amazing. The staff was wonderful, the dives were breathtaking, the boat/crew were great, and the over all experience was unforgettable! I definitely recommend booking on their speedboat for a more personal feel. My husband and I dove with Laura and she was awesome! Very attentive and understanding of your needs.

It had been 5 years since my last dive. The staff made me feel comfortable in and out of the water. Without a doubt, if English is your first or strongest second language you need to book with this outfit. All the staff has a great energy and just fun to be around, not to mention they know the best places to dive. You will not be disappointed with the experience.

It was a terrific experience with Aussie Divers. From the first email contact to getting the OW e-certificate, all communications were so easy, smooth and speedy. The information they provided was always precise and helpful. The diving experience was fantastic, too. My teenage son had Alix as his instructor. She is awesome! My son felt safe and well guided, though he was a little nervous at the beginning. Alix took a lot of really cool pictures and videos so all our family was able to enjoy the experience. The diving boat we were on was well managed as well. We never felt uneasy or unsafe, consider we are not sea faring people. I would love to come back to dive/snorkel with them again!

After arriving in Phuket we looked at dive schools close by to our hotel and found Aussie divers had the best reviews, after today we can see why. I hadn’t dived for a few years so after speaking to Ash on the phone we went down to the shop where we got a free refresh course, and also got a few bargains in the shop. The next day we headed out to Koh Phi Phi with Mike, who was good fun but always very careful to go through the dive briefing in detail and make sure everyone was safe. On the actual dives he pointed out lots of interesting marine life and took photos which he gave us for free at the end of the day. It’s nice having an instructor that still gets excited about everything he see’s underwater, even after 5 years in Phuket! The boat itself was great and all the boat crew were very helpful and friendly. Defiantly be back and would recommend.

We did the Discovery Dive with Aussie Divers, at the Racha Yoi islands. It had two dives. We were a group of 7, and none of us did a dive before. When we approached Ashley, the master instructor, he made us comfortable briefing all about Scuba! We got a free trial session in a pool where Ashley and Simons explained every part of it in detail. (Ash is a real chill guy! ????)
We did the dive the next day, which had two dives in total near Racha Yoi islands. Spotted wide varieties of marine life. The cruise from the port till diving site was amazing too. The Aussie Divers crew was chill and all are mastered with diving skill undoubtedly! The way they handled us under the sea, and the proper guidance at every stage they provided highlighted their experience and professionalism.
Big Cheers to my instructor under the Sea, Ms Lara! ???????? She ensured I was comfortable at every stage while diving.
PS: The breakfast and lunch provided was yummy! Great quality food! ????

Diving in Phi Phi and Racha its already great by itself but with a great diving center like Aussie divers its even better.
I took advanced OW, and it went so well that I stayed for the deep dive speciality. Maria, the instructor, was amazing, she tought me super well and answered all the questions I had and then some. She went above and beyond in making the course interesting and fun too. We saw tons of sea creatures and had a great time.
I did also a fun dive day with Andre who was also excellent and super friendly. Chris, who was instructing my friend also gave me some advice and feedback. Basically all the staff I interacted with from them was super helpful and a great addition to the experience.
10 out of 10 in diving with them!

I highly recommend going with Aussie Divers for your recreational diving and/or diving certification course in Phuket! In my five months traveling and diving all-around South-East Asia, they were my favorite operator for diving! Aussie Divers was both easy to arrange (professional, quick communication, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, flexibility with dive site selection) and provided a consistent, quality dive experience with excellent sites and first-rate instructors/guides that were also nice and fun.
Additionally, the positive diving experiences I had led me to choose them when I wanted to get my advanced open water diver (AOW) Padi certification. I wasn’t disappointed. My instructor, David, was excellent. Each adventure dive, he always made sure I knew what to expect and felt safe, all the while ensuring I gained the knowledge and skills required to be a safe and successful advanced open water diver. I would definitely use them again for another course in the future.
Finally, I also decided to book my first liveaboard trip through them. To say I really leaned on their local knowledge of dive sites and operators to help me navigate the plethora of choices of liveaboards in the Similan Islands is an understatement. Looking back on it, I am embarrassed about how many questions I emailed them for a three-day trip. I must have sent them at least 20 emails inquiring about everything from the food to comparing the pros and cons of the dive sites on each itinerary. But they still answered all my questions, professionally and quickly, and provided exceptionally good insight and advice on my best option. I really appreciated having their help when I was overwhelmed by options and unsure what to expect on a liveaboard. I feel they demonstrated how they really are and that they will go above and beyond to make their clients happy.

Despite a little hiccup with not being able to use the speedboat on the day, we had a fabulous time. I was quite nervous about diving again after 10+ years, but the team and our dive master Tom, were so patient and made me feel at complete ease. We were also compensated for not being on the speedboat by being given free underwater photos that Tom took of us and the dive on the day. After heading back to the hotel, an issue with my phone wiped them all. They were so good to then take the time to upload them again and send me the link to the folder to download again.
Will definitely recommend Aussie Divers to anyone traveling to Phuket!

The absolute BEST place for diving in all of Thailand ! Extremely professional and genuine staff and instructors who make you feel like family rather then a customer.
Did my first ever discover dive with them and fell in love instantly. Ended up completing my open water and advanced open water certification that same week !
Simon and Darren in the office were extremely helpful and accommodating and my instructor Ash was an absolute LEGEND !!! Amazing instructor with extensive knowledge and experience and an overall great dive buddy ! He helped me find a new passion for something that I will definitely continue to do for the rest of my life.
Met many other Aussie Divers instructors on the dive boats like Alex and Martin and they’re all amazing and friendly. This place is a 11/10 in my books and a MUST check out for all divers new or experienced.

Amazing experience!! We did the Discover Scuba Diving- two dives. They are very responsive through e-mail. They have suggested us the best spots to dive. We were a group of three people with not much time spent in the water. Initially we wanted to do the beach dive, but Aussie divers highly recommended us to do the sea dive as it will be a better experience, Oh man!!! Indeed it was a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!!. There was a free pool session for beginners, but we were short in time so we didn't use it. Even though we didn't use it, we had an amazing scuba diving experience- all thanks to our instructor Ash and his trainee Aaron. Our instructor Ash explained about the equipments on boat very well. He arranged me a mask for my eyes with a -4.0 eye sight correction at the last minute (just before the boat left ) as I forgot to mention it to them before. Wow!!! The way they service is spectacular! Since it was our FIRST DIVE we were a bit nervous initially but our instructor Ash was very good in CALMING our NERVES ALWAYS. He was very good in explaining everything in detail. We learnt a lot from Ash about scuba diving. Our instructor Ash had a trainee along with him, Aaron. Aaron manoeuvered us under water. He was so cool.. they both were hilarious, super cool to hang out with!! Made our experience amazing! In the first dive we learnt the three skills needed and in the second dive we went deeper. We did see good sea life underwater. The food provided in cruise- breakfast and lunch were good. The cruising was good, we got dried ourselves in the sun!!! The crew was very professional. We had a safe cruising with them. Overall an AMAZING FIRST TIME DIVING EXPERIENCE with Aussie divers! Personally I would come back to dive more! Cheers!

My wife and I have been diving for 25 years. We've dived all over the pacific and Caribbean with countless dive operators. Aussie divers are the best we've experience. We booked online and answered a few questions about experience and preferences. Due to our experience and preference, they placed us with dedicated guide, Neung. She was wonderful. The dive boat was comfortable and the crew was excellent. All around a fantastic experience.

If you are in Phuket and wanna pick up some diving skill, Aussie Divers is your best choice. I am lucky to have Ash as my Padi Open Water course instructor. He is awesome and only 1 word to describe him ‘Pro’. I am also fortunate to meet the ‘Bossman’ and he is ‘Frieeeendly’. Learn a lot about diving through this course and through the feedback and guidance from my instructor, I managed to improved my diving techniques.

We were in Phuket for a few days and decided to have our first diving experience here. We looked for some places on the web and decided to go with Aussie Divers. We went to their shop in Patong to get information and spoke to Simon. He took us to a pool nearby so we could get familiar with the idea of diving before we decided to book, or not to book. This was 100% free an without any obligations. We loved it and booked a three dive day immediately after the pool test. The day after, we got picked up at our hotel and were transferred to the pier where we got on a boat to the diving location. Our instructor, Ash, was really awesome. What a nice dude. He helped us with everything and made this a truly unique experience. He gave us an underwater camera so we could take some wonderful photos of the world down there. Definitely choose Aussie Divers if you're looking for a (first) dive. We're coming back to get our certificate one day!

Great time diving with them. It was my first dives after a long hiatus and the locations they chose were awesome—Phi Phi and Shark Point—and I felt like I got a week of diving in although it was just a day! So much to see, and the staff were really great. The speed boat was great as well, we got out to the sites really fast. Will dive with them again when I return to Phuket.

Great experience! We booked 2 day trips - Phi Phi islands and the Racha islands. Each day trip we did 3 dives, for a total of 6. We had great instructors, Alban and Tom. They gave us detailed briefings and listened to our needs and concerns. Two of us rented gear and the other two brought gear. The gear was well maintained and clean. Aussie divers sent us a reminder email the day before our dives explaining time for pick up, etc. They have a 4 diver to instructor ratio, which make your experience more personal. The instructors had cameras and took photos and videos of our dives. They sent them to us for free. We enjoyed our time with Aussie divers and book with them again.

So far Aussie Divers provide us the best diving experience, even if all our previous experiences were pretty good.
First they are very responsive by e-mail, they have their pre-made e-mail for general info, but each questions I asked was answered in super timely fashion personally.
Second, we were a bit afraid by the terms "charter boat" but honestly the experience was everything but charter. Sure we were like 40 divers on the boat but there was a lot of space, we were always dropped at 2 different places on the same spot to avoid to overcrowd an area. The boat crew was very sympathetic and super efficience to put 40 divers in and out of the water in timely fashion without having the impression we were just another customer. The food on board is not just food it's good food. They have chiefs on board which allow them to do special requests for food such as vegan in our case.
Finally our instructor, Alix, was fantastic. Her briefings were great. Coming back very quickly on some fundamentals for a guy who didn't dive for 2 years, then going to specifics of each dive. Under water we felt free but guided, the exact experience we were looking for. Alex was often smiling while showing us the species she just spotted, it was very clear she enjoys her work, which help her to be a great instructor.
Our dives happened in Ko Phi Phi, great spots around with many different things to see. Definitely worth the 1h30 - 2h to go there

Not only was everything perfectly planned, the course itself was fantastic!
Took my open water diver’s license with instructor Martin, and would recommend it to every one who is considering to get lincensed - witty, accomodating and REALLY knowledgeable.
The boats were clean, with wonderful food and good staff.
Also, you get the chance to buy your diving pictures after the course if you want to remember one of the greatest experiences ever ????
If I ever get to continue my diving education in Phuket - will definitely get it here

Been ages since I last wrote a review this long, but these guys deserve it. They are THE most professional and super-fun people I have encountered in a long time. Just to give you a background, I did scuba and I can't swim, AT ALL!
Getting in touch: From the beginning Darren and Ashley were very prompt and clear in replying to all my concerns over email, and in no email it sounded like they were pushing us to do things to make quick bucks.
Pre dive: We initially had 3 people who were interested in the dive. However Tom from Aussie Divers insisted all of us to do a pool session free of charge that is necessary to find out if we are comfortable with the idea at all. This was essential and one of us had to back out after the pool session (would've cost us 3k baht otherwise). Another one had to drop out after getting the medical tests done on their insistence. What more? They were sweet enough to pick up my entire family to the beach along with me without charging us.
During dive: we had a long time to chat with my instructor Gordon, who assured us that he will be holding my hand at all times so there's absolutely nothing to worry. Safety was paramount throughout the dive. I turned out to be the only student going for the beach dive that day, and scuba diving with Gordon was easy and fun
Loved their focus on providing the clients with a wonderful experience and not treating them as profit-making machines. Just waiting for my next trip to Phuket to go for the boat dives with them. Highly recommend this place.

I’d like to thank Darren and then entire team at Aussie Divers....I’m by no means the most experienced or the best diver in the world.... But I love my diving and have dived with hundreds of operators over the years and this is only my second google review.
To me, a dive experience on a holiday consists of 4 ingredients; the quality of the staff (all, from boat boys to administration but most importantly, the dive guides) the organization of the company, the quality of the boat and the quality and condition of the dive gear.
I give Aussie Divers 5 stars for all 4 ingredients.
Their staff is always fantastic, friendly (and don’t smoke at the back of the boat like on most dive boats.... forcing paying guests to inhale their cancer sticks!) , all of the staff put the divers first and foremost and diving can be dangerous and they are careful but ensure the day is fun and relaxing too and diver centric, not Captain and local boat boy centric which happens on more bots than not..
The company organizes the day perfectly, from the paperwork, gear set up and transportation (leaving on time, taxis there to pick you up from the pier on your arrival back to shore).... you don’t feel like you are standing around due to disorganization.. everything runs smoothly.
The boat was the main reason I first decided to use Aussie Divers.... I have never understood who would purposely choose to waste precious hours on a slow wooden boat ... when I can travel quickly in a 3 x 250hp engine speed boat which allows you to reach the better sites faster and get home faster to spend time with your family....
The gear they use is predominately Scubapro... but it is standard hire gear... if you want the best quality, as with any dive company, you should bring your own regs... but they are serviced, safe and in good condition.. the bcd’s, find and wetsuits are all in good condition and above the normal standard of other operators.
So I highly recommend Aussie Divers ... pay the extra to go on their speed boat (if budget allows) and look forward to my next dive with them.
