I went to see Robyn last week to have my hair cut and coloured in a balayage style. This was at 8:30 in the morning, so I wasn't expected the staff to be as cheerful as they were.
Robyn was friendly and chatty throughout, putting me at ease when needed, and took her time getting everything right. Equally, the staff supporting her were helpful and incredibly polite. I also noticed that they were all calm and polite when requesting equipment etc. from each other. This definitely goes a long way towards making the place feel relaxed and comfortable.
My hair looks and feels great, and I picked up plenty of tips for keeping it in top condition. And under Covid-restrictions, I felt completely safe as all precautions are taken throughout. I highly recommend Boutique Atelier to anyone looking to do something a bit more special with their hair. Thank you!

I have had my hair cut and coloured twice by Stacey since lockdown. I have felt safe going back with all the Covid precautionary measures in place. Temperature checks, masks, hand sanitiser, regular cleaning and not over crowded. A lot of work has been done to make sure everyone feels safe.

Excellent experience visiting the salon again with the covid measures in place. Both times since lockdown I've visited wearing a mask, had my temperature taken and had to sanitise my hands. This made me feel at ease knowing that every client would also be doing the same. Rosie is my stylist and as always made me feel welcome as well as working miracles on my hair ???? keep up the great work

I was anxious on my first visit back but was put at ease as soon as I walked in the door. I could see that great care had been taken to keep everyone safe and soon felt very comfortable. Have made further appointments and have no hesitation in recommending other clients to do the same.

On my first visit back to the boutique - I felt nothing but safe and reassured with the measures in place to protect both the team and customers, from screens at the backwash, to disposable cups for your coffee, everything was thought of! And still the same professional service, so as always it was a real treat to be there - felt well looked after! Thanks Richard team boutique! Couldn’t recommend more!

I had been self-isolating because of my husbands underlying health condition, but having read the salon's detailed Covid-19 procedures I was very confident that I would be safe. They followed the procedures to the letter and I felt safe at all times. My appointment was with Richard and there was plenty of space between myself and other clientele. If you have been isolating for 5 months you deserve a haircut and pampering and should attend the salon confident of a great experience.

Information supplied prior to attending first appointment after lockdown was comprehensive, clear and specific.
There was a notice on the door requesting client wear facemasks and temperature was taken on entering and hands sanitised. I was shown to my seat in a socially distanced area. Staff were wearing visors and gloves.
My hair was done by Jill, who is a wonderful stylist, and I was so pleased to have had it done after so many months. I have been going there for many years and will continue to do so.
It is a very professional salon and clients should not be worried about returning there to have their hair done.

The owner, Richard Phillipart and all his staff have put extra measures in place to keep both staff and customers safe during the pandemic. Temperature checks are done on everyone who enters, all areas are cleaned regularly including immediately after use. Hand ssnitisers and UV light sterilization for cash as well. Staff all wear masks and cust6are requested to wear masks on entering the premises.If you have doubts about safety when visiting a hair salon, then I would recommend that you look no further than The Boutique Atelier. There is an added bonus when you have your hair washed that the reclining beds for the back washes have a massage facility.

First appointment since lockdown. Felt completely comfortable with the process, temperature check at the door, hand sanitizer on the way in. Everything else was as good as my normal appointment. Think it's the first time I've properly relaxed in 15 weeks. Still love the massage chairs while getting my hair washed. Rosie did an excellent job of sorting out my lockdown hair. Looking forward to my next one.

I’ve had hair extensions fitted before but I can honestly say that I am the happiest this time with the end result.
Richard went through with me the different options and guided me through every step on perfecting my desired look. I am soo blown away by my hair transformation. Amazing value for money, soo professional and quick! I’m soo used to sitting in a salon chair to have my hair extensions fitted for hours but it only took him just over an hour and a half for everything!
I love going to the boutique atelier everyone is soo friendly even, such a warm atmosphere as soon as you step in. Also the salon is beautiful! It is the most stylish and sophisticated salon I’ve visited. Everything you need from a simple hair cut to a complete hair transformation is in this salon. It is one of the best I highly recommend. I won’t go anywhere else now.

Love love love this salon .... ever the professionals ... love how welcome I am made ..... love the teamwork love watching the young apprentices develop into full on stylists ... my stylist Charlotte always goes above and beyond ... suggesting new styles to try even telling me no if she thinks I have a bad idea ... I trust this salon with my hair 100% .... the receptionist lynne is very welcoming and always making sure we have coffee tea mags etc and a little chat in between appointments ... I go once a week and really look forward to it .... get my nails done here too by Michelle everything in one salon ....

Hair colour dried out my hair and washed out quickly. Quality of hair dye was the worse I’ve ever had. Same price as Tony & Guy but cheap looking hair colour. I wouldn’t recommend this salon for hair colouring.

I had been going here for almost a year and initially I was really happy. Jenny especially always did an amazing job and I would highly recommend her as she is an excellent hairdresser. However, I feel that once you become a regular customer in the salon the standards go out of the window. On two occasions they double booked by appointment and there was no apology. I was made to feel inadequate by being told I had booked in with someone else, even when I showed evidence of the booking on my phone ! The last few appointments were rushed and I paid a small fortune for a cut and blow (which took 30 minutes) yet I was charged an extra £10 on a different occasion for just a blow dry for my shoulder length hair because it is thick! I'm sure if you are 'important' enough or already have glamerous hair this possibly wouldn't happen but sadly this doesnt seem to apply to me ! Very poor customer service and I left feeling upset by how I was treated and ripped off ????

The colour is not I was expected. I did want rooty blonde to blend the brown. I paid £84 I still can see the line what I didn't want and cut for me a long Bob oh my God 1 side is longer than the other and just mess up my side fringe... I dont think I will go back again but Charlotte was really nice. I think who cut it was Stacy but I'm not sure wasnt pay much attention to my hair... all the time was looking out in the window. I'm not really pleased with my hair but I will fix it for myself.

Curl you hair when it is finished to cover up a bad cut! Hairstyle not remotely what I asked for and what was ment to be hair shaped round my face is straight chunks of long fringe either side of my face and this is with a senior stylist so will have to wait for my hair to grow out before I can wear it down again. Would not recommend.
