This shop is ok, they have packed everything under one roof. But I like to look for bargains, & I find this shop pricey. This shop use to be a nice little bargain shop for all you're household stuff. But who ever took over this shop as it's been there for many years, as bump up the prices! Also depends on what you are looking for. As I do compare prices, my advice, shop around as I use this shop as a last resort as you can get the same items online for reasonable price.

Great shop which does everything from paint to cleaners, tools and saucepans and much more. If I can't find something elsewhere this is many times my go to shop. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed.

I purchased a shopping trolley less than 2 weeks ago and never used it. I was about to use it today and while I was heading to the supermarket (the trolley was completely empty) the wheel came off and all the pieces went all around in the street, a car run over them so they were completely destroyed. I called the shop saying that it's not possible that the wheel came off so easly for no reason and I asked if it was possible to replace it even with a cheaper one and their response was that "probably it was my fault because I loaded it too much (it was EMPTY!) and that there is no guarantee on their products. I paid that shopping trolley 30 pounds! AVOID THIS SHOP! THEY OVERPRICE PRODUCTS OF REALLY BAD QUALITY! Really disappointed.

I live locally and use this shop a LOT - but hearing that theyre gouging people over much needed items atm, they've lost all my respect. i've always tried to support them over using online shopping, even though they sometimes cost a little more, but seeing them reward customer loyalty with ripping them off, I am done with them. I will never go through that door again. I hope they get what they deserve.

Disgusting behaviour! Should be ashamed but no doubt they couldn't care less. This shop has been going for years. Supported by the local community and this is how they repay them? Boycott in future...

Tried to buy a satellite cable but as I went to look around the shop the manager accused me of stealing it! Claimed since I hadn't but it in a basket(my only purchase so why use a basket) I was defiantly about to steal it. Refused to listen to my explanation and demanded I leave. Wanted to support local businesses rather than just buy from the internet but seems amazon will easily provide better service than this.

I popped into the store to buy some very late (23rd Dec to be precise) Christmas decorations as it’s round the corner so thought would be nice and convenient. They had a fair amount of decorations but very few of any reasonable quality. My theme I was going for was gold, they had a gold star tree topper but all of the ones they had in stock had some sort of defect. I managed to find one with the least damage and asked the manager if I could receive some discount given the condition. He seemed to think even suggesting was ludicrous and told me to choose something else. Any way there was some back and forth discussions, in a nut shell the customer service was pants. My experience put me off wanting to go back and even spending a penny in this store. Poor quality and overpriced products and poor customer service.

I just purchased a shopping trolley from this place for 19.99 and after 30 minutes of use the wheel has broken ! I called up to report this and was told it was my fault for using it incorrectly ! On closer examination it is apparent that the plastic used on the wheel fittings and wheel itself is so flimy that it was only a matter of minimal time ( 30 mins in my case ) before breakage would occur. It's such a shame because I was trying to support a small business rather than go to Argos. Im pretty much £20 out of pocket for doing this and am now off to Argos to spend another £20 on a trolley that will last me more than 30 minutes. Kitchen Shoppe...shame on you
