I would recommend people choose other Charities for their furniture collection.
As mentioned by a previous review, the website/booking system works perfectly well, but then no confirmation or communication from BHF. No one picks up the phone or answers emails at the branch, so it's impossible to follow up a booking request. Not great.

A great shop for a great cause. Hopefully re opening in the very near future. The staff are helpful and friendly. Don't be put off by "Second hand goods"! The furniture they sell is almost new (barely used) in good condition. If that doesn't take your fancy they also sell new items of there own, which are fabulous too.
Well worth a visit.. also sold at the BHF are electical items ( all checked)
mirrors,pictures,lighting,cushions
,ornaments. Need i say more!

Poor organisation and no trust on this place.
I fully understand it is such a difficult time to operate furniture shop, but their response is all over the shop. Internet site is wonderful and well explained BUT they DO NOT deliver the service they promised. No answer for phone calls or emails, no shows at collection day.If you cannot deal with it, do not put it in Internet.

Really poor quality of service for even one star. Never again. Fixed whole morning for future donations. Disassemble the furniture in advance and waited all morning for not even a call to say what happened. Asked the store again and again in the afternoon, just been told the driver cannot find the address. After telling the driver more details of the address even with the screenshot of google map, still wait the whole afternoon for nothing.

It was a wet and rainy day when I first went in to the Wandsworth Branch of the British Heart Foundation. But, the Staff members were so cheery and helpful. There were a lot of items on the floor but I could find a 5 pound extendable wooden table and 4 chairs for 10 pounds each! Lea, a great volunteer, said that they would hold for three days and if I brought my husband in and he didn't like what i bought, I could turn the 45 pounds into credit.
I brought him in on as cold and rainy of a day, he approved and we found some other pieces as well and they delivered for only 26 pounds and on the day that we chose (it has to be within three days of purchase). The checkout ladies were not pushy at all.
The delivery guys were efficient and quick even though they were working late (deliveries are between 1:00 to 9:00Pm.
The entire experience was positive; we'll be back—probably on another wet and rainy day!

Booked a collection was told that it would be confirmed within 3 days, a week later still waiting, can not get through to store by phone. So now do I wait in on the off chance they may arrive or continue with my day? Going to ring another charity to see if they want items. Try to help but BHF just don't want to know.

Unhelpful Staff!!!!
1- I bought a piano there 2 years ago and was promised that when I decided to upgrade it, I could return it and they would collect it for free OK!
2- I rang the shop last week and spoke to female staff, she confirmed that I could return THE PIANO and asked me to book it online.
3- I booked it online, the system accepted my booking, however as I did not get a phone call confirming I decided to rang the shop.
4- I rang the shop for 3 days, they did not Pick the phone, I decide to go there myself, this time I made a phone call from inside the shop, opposite the main desk, the phone rang for about 1 minute and a lady came grabbed the phone and just pressed the phone button to hang this up. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
5- I complaint to a male staff, seems to be the person charge and heard no apologise, instead he tried to make me feel guilty for calling the shop as they are busy.
6-They complaint that they are short of staff as if its my fault, however I saw a significant number of staff wandering around and not busy.
7- Not coming Back, Good luck!!!!

money grabbing waste of space. ridiculous, exploitative prices on donated, second hand items that they literally get for free from the dump! that coincidentally doesn't allow you to take items away - scam?? thought they were supposed to be a charity shop not a second hand furniture shop. no wonder you have to have sales all the time to cut prices because no one wants to pay 40 quid for a smelly old broken sofa. typical london.

Great place to buy use furniture which is good price and good condition got it delivered on the same day as purchase only problem I had is that part of my bunk bed was missing and no one answers the phone all day,when I call to let them know it was missing

Great place to have both second hand and brand new furniture. Staff is extremely friendly. You can also find pianos time to time. They offer home delivery as well.

Great shop to find good quality furniture and a great price. I ended up getting a beautiful dresser a chest of draws and a filling cabinet for £55 Total! All in perfect working order :0) The staff we're amazing the delivery was super quick and you get to give a little something to an amazing cause. If your like me and every penny count's but a bargain doesn't mean cheap and nasty this is the place for you.

Unfortunately trying to call and receive any steer on delivery was met with rudeness and unwillingness to even listen to the question/concern that there might not be someone there to receive the furniture given the 9hour window provided.

Seriously cheap and great selection, staff are helpful, but be patient being served due to a large workload - there's always stuff heading in and out. Saw a couch for £20 on clearance, and found some ikea racks to match ours at home for only £15!

Never again. Tried to buy a sofa. Paid extra for delivery. Waited all day for a no show, not even a call to say not coming. I cancelled it and got a refund.

Female shop assistant very terse and unfriendly. Paid £22 for delivery between 10am and 7pm. Still waiting at 9.30pm. I like to support charities but am very disappointed with this transaction.

La gente que trabaja aquí son amables y ayudan en lo que pueden, pero podrían tener la tienda más limpia y los muebles mejor ordenados, en general podrían tener la tienda con una mejor presencia para que todo sea más atractivo.
