Rating: 0/5, google does not allow zero rating, so had to give 1 star but they are not worth even a single star in my experience. My review is focused on Bloor Homes(Bakers Place, Woodley). To start with, Bloor Homes has not respect/value for their customers time and money. Most untrustworthy and dishonest staff I've ever seen with any developers around this area in my entire life. Please avoid buying with bloor at any cost to save yourself from stress and disspointment. The mental stress we went through to deal with Bakers place staff is tremendous. Anyone interested in upcoming developments please be warned and I would suggest go to other builders.

Unfair treatment and mental stress given to a customer waiting for a plot to be released since Feb 2016 Me and my husband are very first people to register with Bakers Place(Woodley). We are exited couple to start our family in our new house having arranged our deposit and other requirements. We liked Bloor Homes build and decided to buy one at Bakers Place after seeing the hoarding at Woodley. Managed to get in touch with head office as a proper marketing office has not been opened at that time. We saw their marketing manager Lynn Slade at Romans Woodley office, it's the first day they started registering customers and we are the first to register our interest. We showed our interest in certain plots (30 Whitfield being our first choice, 61/62 Bredon) since the first day of the development and informed their marketing team. We have been advised that we will be informed regarding the release, also we have been in regular contact with the team to make sure we do not miss though it's confirmed by Lynn Slade(and her team) we are on top of the list and promised they honour the database (first come first serve). Today as a prestigious group 'Bloor Homes' shamefully failed to stick to their basic rules. This morning as part of our regular follow up, reached out to Bakers Place regarding new plots release after checking their website for updates(as we have been advised to check website regularly though we are registered in the database as very first customers). I'm told Plot 30 has been sold, the first question how is it possible when your website clearly shows plot 30 unreleased and I'm being on top of the list since Feb 2016 and being in touch with Bakers Place's team regularly? Unless there is a lobbying it's not possible as I haven't seen this with any other professional builders that I've registered with other developers around Reading. Firsly why would you advise your customers to check out website when you cannot keep it up to date or sell it via some other channels, isn't it wasting our valuable time, it's a stress to potential house buyers like us to check out your website regularly only to be told that the plot of our interest has been sold from 'Head Office' Friday 11th November after waiting for almost 11 months. I tried to reach head office today to discuss this matter for clarification and learned your office opening hours are Monday to Thursday, can someone explain how a person can reserve or buy via Head Office when you office hours are closed and not released on the website. I'm not convinced with your Bakers Place marketing manager's explanation as she says it's been sold from head office, how can you sell something when you say first come first, does 'first come first' mean anything to you? I want to officially register a complaint with head office and I would expect a proper explanation not an apology correspondence from Bloor Homes on how plot 30 has been sold. If you are not interested to sell a property to someone for whatever reason, you have to tell them clearly upfront but not to waste their valuable time, advising them to wait and giving them mental stress. As I've been waiting for Plot 30 and trusted your Bakers Place team, I rejected marketing approach from other developers. Today we are left with nothing and back in the race again. I tried to keep this short. We will get to the bottom of it until we get justification. Divya
