i recently sold my house through Leaders - this was my first time selling so i felt quite nervous but Lisa was so helpful and couldn't do enough for us, she even did viewings at our property after her hours when we were working late to ensure we had all potential buyers see the house. the process from start to finish was stress free and Lisa was always on the other end of her mobile answering any questions we had and giving us the feedback from our viewings. i cannot thank her enough, we are now waiting for our new home to be built and we cannot wait! i would recommend leaders to any friends or family. Thanks again.

I would never ever use or recommend Leaders ever, in fact I would warned people against using yourselves!! Hence this rant on social media; we have found your staff to be untruthful, unethical and unprofessional throughout the 2 years of tenancy, which I might add only continued because the property was necessary for my step daughter work and age of child, as well as dealing direct with the landlady rather than yourselves. In light of the above, you would have thought, ending the tenancy would have prompted staff to ensure everything was completed truthfully and professionally. Nothing could be further from the truth!!! Leaders after 8 weeks still have not returned my stepdaughters deposit, despite emailing 4 times a week, phone calls in between explaining she is a single parent and £720 is a tremendous amount of money to her! Leaders staff initially placed the issue on the landlady until we contacted the lady directly and found staff to be untruthful as she had never heard from Leaders, despite staff saying they had tried on numerous occasions to contact her, frequent staff agreeing to return calls and emails with updates to my step daughter but not a single one honoured and the latest excuse is, it’s a problem with now the deposit holding company!! There is absolutely no reason at all, that this deposit has not been returned, as all contract obligations have been met, emails confirming there is no issues in the property, landlady confirming she has no concerns and the property being rented out again within days of my step daughter leaving. Apparently, there is no one to make a formal complaint to, the issue can’t be expedited, and the Manager has no idea of when the deposit will be released as she is waiting on a response from the deposit company!!! Therefore, a detailed complaint with evidence, telephone records etc is being written to the property ombudsman and the property redress scheme as it’s completely unacceptable to withhold a deposit without an explanation that is truthful and legitimate.

STAY AWAY if you can. Absolutely pathetic customer service. Terrible to deal with over the phone, in person, answering emails with one word. We almost ended up on the street, because one of their staff messed up our documents right before the move in and blamed me for not sorting it out! (I still have the name, I have spoken to the manager about it then and there, but nothing happened, no apology) They require you hire a professional cleaner when you move out from a house you rent, yet they don't mind letting you in an unpainted property, with dirty cupboards. Ridiculous.
The only good side - they have nice homes. I assume they treat the landlords better, than the tenants.

AVOID. Make sure you are present at the check out. Also left rubbish outside my house for 7 weeks and I didn’t get an admin fee for chasing them up with that. Doubt the landlord was informed either. House was filthy when we moved in and STILL we get charged for a tiny bit of skirting board which needs a duster across it! They don’t dispute that we left the house in a better condition than we received it. Hmm

Leaders have been absolutely brilliant. They have helped my fiance and I find our first home, even with the added trouble of us having a dog. The staff were always friendly and easy ti talk to. They have answered all of my questions and responded to my calls and emails really quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this agency to anyone.

The whole process from viewing the house to applying for it has been very smooth and all the staff I have dealt with have been really informative and helpful. Sarah dealt with my application from the start and I have also had contact with all of the ladies in the referencing department and everyone has been great. The customer service is fantastic! Was hoping to have a good experience when renting my first ever property through Leaders, despite the bad comments I'd heard. This did not go to plan due poor customer service, was sent round in circles for two weeks only to be told on my move in date that they didn't know when I could pick up my keys. No one ever emailed or called unless I did, even on the day of move in. Had to withdraw my application on the day of move in because there was no way I would be doing business with an establishment that treated me this way. Had to cancel the insurance they told me I urgently needed and furniture I ordered to the property. Haven't even had a formal apology from the agency. Really appalled and disappointed.

What an absolute joke. Literally none of the staff know what their job is and they just spout lies. None are willing to admit they've gotten it wrong and the staff at the hub are getting the brunt of everything this branch is doing. More training needs putting in place. Incompetence is an understatement. Manager of this branch wants sacking.

On the positive side, the process of applying for a property was swift. On the negative side, the Lettings Hub has an annoying online application form which deleted the information provided when attempting to submit it, and this delayed the process. Also, received between 2 to 4 e-mails every day reminding me to complete this form.

Really disappointed with the service we got here. Past from pillar to post and never spoke to the twice due to the call centre taking most the calls. We made an appointment at the borrowash site and they were closed when we got there. Made a 40 min round trip for no reason. Disappointing.
