Avoid like the plague!!! Awful service!!! I was warned about going to large chains for plastic surgery, and I wish I had listened!! They just stuck me with the surgeon who had the first availability, basically the first chance they could get money from me! I researched this surgeon and felt he didn’t suit what I was wanting, but they were not interested in that. It has now been 5 months and I am STILL chasing for my money back! Please woman, just because they have a big name, doesn’t mean they will be good! I went to a small, independent surgeon and wish I had gone to them sooner!

If I could leave 0 stars for The Harley Medical Group I would. Please, please do not be fooled by the lovely sales people on the phone and in reception. Or by the initial consultations from the surgeons. They draw you in and make you believe you will be taken care of but it is ALL lies. In 2016 I had a consultation to have a rhinoplasty with Dr Allwin and even though I thought his personality a little on the blunt side, he was very professional at that point and made me feel comfortable and confident about what could be achieved. After several consultations to ensure I was happy to proceed, the surgery date was booked and off to the hospital I went. My operation was due about 5/6pm (the last of the day) but I didn't actually go into surgery until 8pm. So by this point I was tired and starving as you are not allowed to eat all day. As we went down to theatre the anesthesiologist was complaining how tired he and other members of staff were and just wanted their shifts to be over which really does not make you feel great as you are lying there on the bed. Before I knew it, I must have been knocked out and woke up a little on the hazy side. The next day I felt rough which was to be expected and I was served mouldy pasta for a meal which I refused to eat. I was bandaged up and sent home. I was told what to expect post surgery for the first few weeks and it was all as planned, not pleasant but normal. However after the main swelling started to go down (and yes it can take up to a year for ALL the swelling to go) I noticed the tip of my nose looked larger (which I was told was actually impossible to do), and was tilting at an angle. And also I had a dip in the bridge of my nose. It took many phone calls and emails to get Dr Allwin to see me, who said he was happy with the result and the swelling still needed to go down so i should just relax. 1.5 years later and nothing had changed, and I knew something wasn't right. Once again, it was like pulling teeth to get an appointment and when I did, Dr Allwin was very rude, even infront of the nurse that was in the room with me. He told me that I had a large head, so therefore having a small nose would look ridiculous, and therefore it's right I have a large nose. And that I was never going to look like Kim Kardashian, who for reference I have never asked to look like and she is most certainly NOT an idol of mine. Even the nurse ran after me, after the consultation to apologise on his behalf! Fast forward to 2019, so by now 3 years after surgery and I am still trying to get Dr Allwin to admit something is wrong. So I print off loads ( and I mean loads) of photos pre and post surgery to show him that the operation was not a success. He admits that on the bridge of my nose, when shaving the bone, too much was removed and therefore had created a dip/dent. Then when looking at the tip he agreed it was larger and that I needed blood tests to ensure I didn't have blood poisoning which is something I think I would have noticed within 3 years. Anyway I went along with his methods and of course everything came back negative. So he finally caved and said I could have steroid injections to try and reduce the swelling which I was thrilled about as he promised this would be the solution. I had two sessions with him, when I received a phone call from the clinic saying Dr Allwin had to cancel my appointment and they would contact me to reschedule. I heard nothing. So I rang them, and all of a sudden they didn't know when and if he would be returning and that's the last I heard of Dr Allwin. The clinic then ignored all my emails and calls and to this day have ignored me. And this was way before the current situation here in 2020 so they have no excuse. The surgery cost me over £4000 and I urge anyone to stay away from them. I have since gone to another private clinic who were wonderful and have explained a second surgery is an option but it may not help as the damage may already be done. Please listen to me. They have no after care. Stay Away.

STEER WELL CLEAR OF The Harley Medical Group! Worst experience ever. I had a mis-sold rhinoplasty in March 2018 of which the results determined all 3 of the defeats I had had the surgery to correct were all still present. I later found out from another surgeon that the wrong kind of surgery has been performed (I should have had a septo-rhinoplasty) and would never have fixed the defeats. The surgeon who performed my surgery - Mr Alwin Gnanajebamani, went AWOL and Harley didn't seem to know when or if he was coming back and left me in limbo for months and wouldn't assign me a different surgeon who was present and working. They ask you to give them 20 working days to provide a solution... at this end of this period, they say they haven't got a solution and ask for another 20 working days... and at the end of that period, yup, same again.. and on and on it drags. During this time I came across other patients who were also unhappy of the work (including injuries!) of this now-AWOL surgeon. Harley Medical never provided an explanation as to why he disappeared. It took months of chasing before I finally got assigned a different surgeon and I had to travel to a different county to have my appointments with him as he did not travel to the clinic where I had initially signed up with Harley Medical and had all my appointments until now. I waited months for a revision surgery date which surprisingly enough, never came. More false promises. Harley were constantly using delay tactics and dragging out the process, no doubt in the hope I would go away and they wouldn't need to pay for the corrective surgery. It then became apparent that the revision surgery STILL wouldn't fix all the defects with my nose, as they would just repeat the INCORRECT surgery again (clearly Harley Medical wouldn't cover the cost for the new surgeon to do the surgery actually required). They had happily told me they could fix the defects with my nose no problem when they took my money so of course I asked for a refund! Nothing gets done unless you constantly chase and hassle and everything has been a complete pain from start to finish. Things that should be simple and quick will drag on for months. Complaints simply get 'acknowledged' but no action is ever taken. They have also lied on more than one occasion, extremely unprofessional. I asked for a refund in February which surprisingly enough, I have never received. It is also worth noting The Harley Medical Group went into administration in November 2019 and are now owned under a different name, something they neglected to tell me until I found out. So when they botch up your surgery, there's nothing you can do about it! They will take zero responsibility. Once they have your money you are no longer of any concern to them so if you have any problems, good luck! They take NO responsibility for botched surgery and say they are just an "introducer" between you and your surgeon, so all the liability is on your surgeon. If like in my case, the surgeon botches your surgery and then goes AWOL and declares bankruptcy, Harley Medical will wash their hands of you! The surgeon had been botching up surgery whilst working for Harley Medical even before they inflicted him on me and he should never have been allowed to perform surgery on me! Appalling atrocious company! I truly wish I had never stepped foot through their doors! I have been left with a nose with more defects than before I had surgery! Absolutely devastated.

I've been coming here for laser hair removal for almost a year now and Mana who treats me is always professional and makes a laborious process as much fun as it can be. I'd tried various other places before and never got good results or had the trust I have in the team here. I would recommend to anyone that they pay the little bit extra to come here, as they'll actually get what they pay for.
