A fantastic clinic, they went above and beyond to listen to our concerns and tailor our treatment according to our wishes. All our interactions with consultants and nurses were positive, I would highly recommend the clinic.

I'm quite sure i wouldn't have my beautiful crazy children without LWC. Wonderful professional group of people and words will never express how thankful I am.

Very terrible service with loads of hidden charges and they are very bad at explaining and after care...I’m very sure most reviews are fake

I dont know where to begin. Cold staff, doctors turn up an hour and half late and give you 5 minutes to speed through the vital meetings. They make you pay for tests you have already done. Hardly a good introduction to parting with large sums of money (more money than the friendlier, cheaper, better clinic just outside Cardiff) so after having the gut instinct kick in and wave the red flags, we went to another consultation in this other clinic and that is where I will take my money because wow, what a difference in the two. Do your research folks because you will save yourself time money and heartache I feel.

I left it three years to leave this review because infertility is a hugely emotional issue and I wanted to be sure before I wrote anything. This clinic is terrible. They just want your money. They talk to you like you are an inconvenience. They rush you through initial consultations. I started bleeding after implantation and there was no answer on the 24 hour helpline. When I finally got through the next day I was made to feel like I was being annoying by trying to get hold of them and made to feel like the fact the doctor on call hadn’t answered wasn’t a big deal at all. Please avoid this clinic. They took thousands and thousands of our money and we have nothing. There’s a high probability that we would have had nothing from another clinic and nothing can help that, but at least we may have been treated better if we’d gone somewhere else.

Fantastic clinic. Staff are professional, friendly and caring. Our IVF didn't work first time, but we kept with it for several further tries, and 2 years on we now welcomed a little baby boy into our family. Ever so thankful to have him in our lives :)

I know the team here really well, and they're brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you're thinking of fertility help. Special mention to Andrew and his team in the embryology lab, who are so professional.

It started off well - but when it came to getting the results of our blood test back (which cost more than £1,200), we received zero communication for months, no e-mails/calls/post, or indeed anything, and had to chase things up to get to the bottom of the missing results ourselves. We were left sorely disappointed and decided to go elsewhere in the end as we feel they cannot be trusted to handle these types of personal issues competently. Speaking purely from my own experience, I would exercise caution here.

Wow. We went to LWC Cardiff and had our socks blown off by how friendly, proffesional, thorough, kind, informative the staff are. Right through, from your first contact with the receptionists, finance staff, nurses, embriologists, consultants and counsellors. Sorry if I missed anyone. Really, everyone we met was human, friendly and involved in our treatment on a personal level. I am glad that they are so thorough, they test and re-test because of the nature of the treatments. You just can't take it for granted. Different conditions and defects develop at different rates. These guys have high standards and do their best every day. We tried a couple of times too. Eventually taking the donor route. It's definitely not guaranteed but you have to try. Success rates of donor eggs (esp frozen) aren't high. We originally had 6 eggs and fortunately I can say that have made it to 21 weeks, and will be what they call a geriatric mother. We are very pleased either way with LWC Cardiff, we were given the statistics and kept trying and got lucky. Many many thanks to LWC Cardiff for changing our lives. We wouldn't be here without you!

Had experience of both a success and a failed treatment with LWC and in both instances the staff were fantastic. I am now the proud mother of a gorgeous 3 year old and cannot thank you enough.

Fantastic place and staff. My experience there was the best. I got pregnant at my first try by just using one embryo! I would highly recommend LWC Cardiff.

I went here few weeks ago and was so disappointed we paid over £6000 for doner eggs. I had two embryos emplaned in me but it never worked. We was told they would freeze the remaining 6 but somehow they couldn’t freeze them I never had an explanation. I want a baby so bad but I will have to try and find that money again to pay. ????

Money grabbers! I brought all my test results from my previous doctor as all test been done recently and also to avoid to pay again for something what has been done already. So I showed all the results to the doctor and he said to me that I have to do all tests again here at London Clinic, what a joke! I told him that he has ALL RESULTS ON FRONT OF HIM ON HIS DESK!!!! And he said that he know but I have to do it again here…. It’s a joke NOT clinic. Instead of wasting your time by going there o talk to them you might just stand on front of the wall and talk to the wall, believe me you will get exactly the same results.

Awful place. I'm sure that your experience may be better if you're a paying customer, but if you're a donor don't expect a decent experience. I was led to believe that the risks in being a donor were slim, I was never told that because of my age or body weight I was a high risk. I ended up with moderate over-stimulated ovaries and am still suffering the consequences. It was never about financial compensation for me, it was always about helping and so had I been told that I was more at risk because of my age I would have waited until I was 30. I didn't google the risks because everyone knows that you shouldn't google medical things. Foolishly, I trusted them. This was a fault on my part, and it's a mistake I will not make again. I was hospitalised as a result of my donation. I am still not out of the woods. I was supposed to have a check up with the clinic but I rang to cancel as I was very unwell. No one answered so I left a voicemail. To date, no one has returned my call. Before the clinic had my eggs if I left a voicemail my call was returned the same day. Now they have my eggs, they couldn't care less. I've given up on ever hearing from them as they simply do not care. If you are going to donate, I would suggest you at least wait until you're 30 and I would suggest you discuss it with an NHS doctor who will give you all of the facts. Don't trust a private clinic that is going to financially benefit from your donation, because chances are they will play down the risks as they did with me. If anything my experience is confirmation that the NHS should remain as it is, and not become privatised. If it were not for the NHS picking up the pieces of this clinic's failings, I dread to think what might have happened.
