We had a call out from this company yesterday quoting £110 + Vat for the first hour and not detailing anything following that. I was home alone as my husband was travelling and not sure how long a blockage due to leaves/water clearing should take but it ended up taking more than 3 hours and we were charged £426 without invoicing, directly debited with no notice. The plumbing issue wasn’t solved, and the man who came did his diagnostic in the first hour - what he did after that I’m not sure. The customer service lady said that they couldn’t do any tiling work and our issue was below ground, but still did they need three hours to realise this? It’s a one bedroom flat. I checked in multiple times and in the end after sitting there for three hours I started to get exasperated from when he took his queue to leave. (The company claim it was them who asked) I would certainly not recommend this service to anyone. We called to complain and had a terrible experience with their customer service. In this day and age you expect helpfulness and instead met resistance and obstinacy. I hope her manager listens back to the tapes. We have gotten in touch with Amex to resolve the issue, who in fact have great customer service and have been incredibly helpful.
