I've been taking my car here for 4 years or more now. Would never go anywhere else and always send people I know their way. They've always looked after me and never made me feel daft for not knowing a stitch about cars. They're reliable, patient, friendly and efficient and have saved me more money over the years than I care to think about.

Husband took car in for MOT today and said he was surprised at how arrogant and rude the man on reception was. he had an attitude that you should not be showing when customer service is your role.
Front of house is so important in all businesses, they need to get it right. Shame to say won't be going back.

Appalling attitude from one the mechanics.. Had my classic Volkswagen Beetle in for some new front tyres and was told by this mechanic how much he hates Beetle's and then said "Theres a scrap yard not far from here". Apon leaving he even asked if the car need a push.. Beyond furious and insulted.. Won't be returning. Guess you need a Lamborghini to fit criteria to have work done there. Minus that one mechanic the other staff have been a beaut.. But this has completely ruined it. Not amused.

This is the first time I've written any kind of review on anything but felt like I had to.
I went to sort out an advisory for my car, and they said it would be £65 so I went ahead with it. Asked them how long they would be and they said a maximum of 2 hours, so I waited about as obviously didn't have my car to get home. Go back 2 hours later, they haven't even started. So I walk home.
After a few phone calls with them they're ready for me to pick my car up a few hours later. Walk back down and they're now saying £165, not £65. I don't know the going rate for the part and when I was surprised and asked how much the part was, in my opinion, they were rude and flippant. I would not have gone ahead with this advisory had it been this £100 more expensive so I was understandably annoyed.
Feeling like there's nothing I can do now, and having only taken the £65 in cash with me, I pay the rest on card.
2 months later I get a letter in the post saying that they have UNDERcharged me on my card and to call them or go into shop to pay more. Go into shop and they said they have no idea and must be head office. I pay the £90 they want just so I can get out and not come back.
Just over 2 years ago I got a quote of £1100 from this Setyres to pass my MOT, I took it to a garage down the road to get a second opinion and this other garage did it all for less than £400. No idea why I went back to Setyres in the first place recently; I guess I didn't think an advisory would be so much hassle. I've now learnt my lesson and will never be returning again. And neither will my friends and family.
