We had the most fantastic experience! We have been looking for a whisky shop to help extend our knowledge with whiskeys and the staff were both incredibly friendly and useful. Callum, Keith and George were especially helpful and kind during the busy bank holiday weekend! Definitely coming back in the future! Would highly recommend!

I love The Vintage House and have been coming here for over 40 years. It hasn't changed a bit. They have a great selection of fine wines, and spirits, and the best selection of cigars in Soho. The staff have always been curmudgeonly, but that is part of the character of the place. Once they get to know you they are very friendly. It's a "local shop for local people" ! Long may it flourish.

Arrogant, rude and snobby. Don't bother wasting your money here while they are trying to cash in on the on-street seating on Old Compton Street. Support the queer soho businesses who have had to close for the last few months instead.
We were told that we shouldn't be ordering Aperol Spritz because it's a fancy wine bar (even though it's literally on their menu). I'm sober so ordered a tonic and lime and was asked "Is that it?". Yes actually that is it. This experience didn't make sense and left a sour taste in my mouth.

The staff are a group of grumpy old men who look upset that they need to put the effort into talking each time a customer comes in.
They also raise all the prices in line with auctions so nothing to be found here. New stock is held back for 'VIP' customers.

Terrible service. Was trying to buy a nearly £400 bottle of wine and the staff were unimaginably rude - only thing they cared about was turning off the lights and kicking me out so they could close the store early. Would not shop here again.

I wonder why it has taken me a few years to find this hidden gem. Overall a great range of whiskies and other quality spirts. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, who are happy to offer and give advice. Also worth having a look of those top shelfs for those hard to find bottles.

Have been going to the Vintage House for nearly 40 years as halve my brothers For something special I would not go anywhere else. Great stock, expert advice from the staff. At least have a look at the malt whisky and whiskey selection. More like a museum. Don’t forget the fine wines and cigars and a wide variety of other quality spirits. Always loved it.

A liquor store that oozes Soho. Well positioned and full if amazing brands and variety or wines and spirits. The South African wine selection could be larger but that's just my home country bias talking. Great decor that fits in well with the Soho look and feel and an easy walk from anywhere in Soho really. Staff were friendly and quite happy to leave me alone to browse until I needed some help or insight.

A staff touched my body again and again and again when he across the corridor near me! I’m here for finding some of souvenirs NOT FOR HARASSED BY STAFF! Is here a night club?
Except for the staff, it’s nice shop especially for tourists who look for some small portion liquors. Owner, the only thing you should improve is take a look of your staff more carefully.

A very impressive range of premium whisky, with stock of hard to find whisky. Service could be improved as they were not very attentive on my recent visit in the evening but could be one off as I had been here before and received great service. I thought prices were decent. Also open late which was a bonus.

Nice selection, but the staff is unfriendly and lies.
I came at the open on a Friday morning, and both members of staff were in the office part, answering phone calls. After 6 minutes, one of them comes to ask me if he could help. I asked him if he had any Ardbeg Traigh Bhan. “No, we never received this one” he said. He did not even bother to recommend anything else...
When called on the phone 10 minutes later, and asked the same question: “yes, you are lucky, I only received 10 and there is just one left”...
Maybe it’s not the same person? Anyway, total waste of time and lack of commercial attitude.

Will never go back asked one of the people for help they walked away, taken when I tracked them down, they said they will be back, but I was still waiting like an idiot for 20 minutes no one ever came back l!! obviously not interested in my business and probably not interested in yours either take your business elsewhere not worth a free subway trip there

Super unfriendly staff. Was told off when I mistakenly crossed into the staff area when I was trying to get a better look at the gin. At my apology, the female assistant rolled her eyes at me and said "yeah, sure". The selection looked very good but I certainly won't be buying from them with that level of customer service.

Hands down, my favourite whisky shop in London! Hundreds of independent and single cask whiskies, as well as plenty of the rarer vintage malts from distilleries that no longer exist. They also stock an array of rums, vodkas, tequilas, wines, sherries, vintage ports, vintage armagnacs, brandies, liqueurs and, of course, a wide range of Cuban and non-Cuban cigars!
