Myself and my brother took our bikes here for a first service when lead times at other dealers were several weeks, and Judd could do it the following week. However, when the job was completed the bills were £45 - £50 more than other dealer quotes.
This was down to two things: they charged 2 hours labour, where other dealers I contacted charge 1.5 hours. The reason for this wasn't explained up front, but after querying it what they said is that there is "recommend" work that can be carried out on a service and they do this as a matter of course, whereas other dealers may not.
The second and bigger issue was that they fitted and charged for new oil screens, instead of cleaning them out like they're supposed to. When queried they said that it's easier for them to just replace them, and that if they cleaned them out the labour would be even higher for the time spent! In the end after speaking to a manager they did agree to credit these.
Another issue we had was that they charged for 4 litres of oil when the bikes only takes 3.5, and neither bike was topped up properly either. At over £19 per litre this is significant, especially since we were left needing more oil to top up. After raising this with them they did supply some additional oil.
They also put 42 psi in the rear tyre of both bikes when they were already at the correct 36 psi as per the manual. This wasn't raised with them since it's a more minor thing.
Now the worst issue. They said that the bars on my brother's bike were hitting the tank when on full lock, and that they'd adjusted them. Firstly we know that it didn't hit the tank, it was close but didn't touch, so didn't need adjusting. Secondly, they caused damage to the paint on the bars. It looked as though they only slightly loosened the clamps at one side and then forced the bars. This took all the paint off. When told about it, they did immediately say they would order new bars, and in the end these were fitted and it got sorted, but the damage caused was just total carelessness and should never have happened.
So to be fair to them, after an initial reluctance to do anything about the oil screens, they did resolve all of the issues raised. Unfortunately they lose stars from me due to these unnecessary problems.

Lovely place, people are amazingly friendly and helpful. They are not pushy and very knowledgable about their bikes. Very clean place. Was offered a hot drink which is a lovely touch. Telephone contact was good, again very friendly, kept the same person all the way through to the sale which again I like, no chopping and changing. Really pleased with them.

Wow what a service, called at 4pm on a Thursday to order a part for the lads BW KTM 50 SX, we were so worried we wouldn’t get the part in time for Sat mornings sessions but after speaking to Ray, Ben and Sarah they smashed it. Poor customer service, bought a new stator from them for ktm sx 65 it lasted 15 minuets, fault was traced to brand new stator showing 0 ohms resistance when should be showing between 15-21ohms. When we contacted them they said they could not refund so £150 down the drain wont be using again

Only spent half an hour or so there talking to Ben, but the shop is well stocked, and has all the KTM bikes and accessories you could want. Labour costs are very reasonable. The shop looks like it's closed! It isn't! They just don't have big glass windows!

Great people with a can do attitude, I called at 17.00pm on Thursday night and spoke to a guy called Ben wanting a new KTM SX50 Urgently for my son for the following day, they built and PDI inspected it the following morning ASAP and I collected it and was on my way back to Kent in 2 hours ! In the past I have had good experience on ordering parts with Judd Racing. 5 stars.....The last two attempts I have been let down. When ordering via the on-line website - there is no indication if the part is out of stock. So you happily order, pay the post for the fast delivery.......and then you receive an email stating that they are out of stock and item(s) will be sent in a few working days once in stock. This is not good enough when you are reliant on getting those parts sooner rather than later - and pay additional for faster postage. I even tried to ask for a refund on the faster postage I paid extra for as clearly I would not be getting the part in the timescales I paid for......I struggled to get a refund and gave up in the end as i was met with a stroppy 'as per our terms' and as per my out of office reply' - sorry Judd racing - you need to up your game......especially in the mx community with a respected supplier like you but with slowly eroding customer service. 5 stars down to 2 hopefully they can amend the stock system so that it indicates if a part is not available.....before allowing you to order....beware

Terrible customer services and Sarah is very rude even put the phone down on me when I was asking for a refund for my Saturday parcel which is £10 extra but didn’t deliver until Monday. Sarah asked me to collect the parcel and send it back which I refused and she told me forget it then you won’t be getting your money back , this matter is almost 2 weeks old and still haven’t received my refund. Do not use Judd racing they don’t deserve our custom
