this place was very good. I had their fish and chips and was not disappointed in the least bit. They also had some really amazing ciders that we do not have in the states. The only thing that wasn't too clear was how to order. They don't come to you, you have to go up to the bar, tell them what you want and tell them what your table number is.

This place had great pies, but I found the great atmosphere to be an exception when it comes to Greene King pubs. Greene King is like the Wal-Mart of pubs...it is a company that operates over 3000 pubs. As far as I can tell, they all have the same food and same beer. Not really an authentic pub experience in my mind.
