Great location, easy to find. The staff were helpful and friendly. The whole experience from admission through nursing to surgery was excellent. I felt I was always in good hands.

The place is lovely, the staff were delightful, friendly and helpful. Great efficient service. Unfortunately we found/heard reception staff were discussing/making telephone calls disclosing patient information in a busy waiting area, which is not private and confidential

After feeling very unwell and worrying about NHS wait times, I decided to see a consultant at the spire. The doctor was concerned and I had a blood test done the same day. He said he would refer me for a scan privately. A week later I have had no results from the blood test. I have not heard anything about the scan and the consultants secretary took 4 days to reply to my phone calls/emails. The secretary at spire hospital could not even get hold of the consultants secretary. I decided to go to KIMS hospital instead, the service received was significantly better. Overall, I am really disappointed with the service received at the Spire.

I would say to keep a close eye on invoices that Spire send out. I was overcharged by 6 times the correct amount and on querying it was told it was sent in error and to destroy it! Someone less able may well have paid up. The charge for a consultant using a room for no more than 15 minutes for my treatment was extortionate.

Not impressed... I have been seen at The Spire before and received a "satisfactory" service... But this time the receptionist was unhelpful and just kept insisting that I had a "referral form" from my GP before booking an ultrasound - the lack of which was the exact reason for going to a private clinic in the first place. She just kept repeating herself in spite of the fact that one of their own doctors could have provided the referral, she declined to help or make any kind of progress... So I guess with The Spire, you can go private - so long as your NHS GP has referred you (!?).

Spire Tunbridge Wells was a good experience BUT PLEASE BE AWARE that the staff are not clear enough on handling the EXTRAS and are NOT FORTHCOMING on explaining what is and what is NOT included in your bill. We were charged for Ibuprofen and Paracetamol without notice and without being asked if we even needed it!!! We were given a bag and sent home; two weeks later the bill arrives £35 for medicines that we have our cupboard. Do not leave your credit card on file and do not take anything home unless absolutely necessary and, if your child is in full time education or under 18, be aware that you can obtain the same medicines from the GP free of charge! A SAD experience that, after fighting with customers services about this, they insist I paid for these basics I have at home despite NOT being told I had to in the first place! :-(

Both my husband and I have had several consultations and treatments at the Spire. It's pretty easy for parking, seems well run, clean and the staff are friendly. My husband was particularly well looked after when he went into for an operation and the hospital experience helped to make it less traumatic than it could have been otherwise.

I had hip replacement surgery here and everyone - from the receptionists to the surgeon, theatre staff and nurses - was fantastic. The food was tasty and there was always tea and biscuits to hand just when you needed them. The physio follow up treatment has also been excellent. No one wants to go to hospital but these guys made it all ok.

I went for a BUPA annual health screening and it was a great experience. The practice nurse was lovely and all the staff I met were highly efficient and helpful. Great job and fully recommend

I agree with previous comments in that BEWARE, you will receive numerous hidden charges that bear no relationship to the "services" provided. none of these extras are explained to you until after the event and can ramp up the costs by hundreds of per cent.
