Couple days I try to speek to my gp or doctor..Ladys on reception keep saying need to call tomorrow. When tomorrow coming after she saying again same story-call tomorrow..that's ridiculous!!! And i rang before 9 am...that's a joke ...lol

Do not dislike this place. It is very good nearer than going all the way to Mayday. We are lucky to have it. The staff at the main reception are really nice and helpful especially. Lynn x

Really very helpful and very polite staff. I had C T Scan yesterday morning and staff looked after me very grateful as well as treated me as a human. 5 stars ???? are not enough. 10/10 ????. Thank you very much for your attention and great service with care you had provided to me.

I phoned to speak to someone in the Xray department using the General switch board. I was left holding on till I was disconnected 4 times. Each time holding on for a considerable amount of time the longest being over 30 minutes. The Switchboard Operators were indifferent and when on my third attempt I tried to explain what was happening, I was just put through to the extension again to wait it out before I could put two words together. Had the Operator listened to me I just wanted to ask for the direct extension number for the department so that I could try phoning directly. This is very bad service when you consider that people phoning in, more likely than not, have medical issues and this behaviour by the Switchboard Operators is not helpful. As a patient you are told to make sure you contact the hospital as soon as possible when any adjustments to your appointment need to be made, and you are indeed reminded of the huge cost involved for not doing so. For this reason, I persevered when it could have been so much easier to just stop trying. Before writing this, I noted wonderful reviews on this hospital by other people and I shall be attending this hospital to see if this really is the case because my experience so far has been unfriendly.

Very clean and quick in and out, but must say disappointed on the hand sanitizer station as not many around which is quite bad considering pandemic we're in!!! Need to be more in the corridor walk ways on way to outpatient.

We got there today at about 0845, my partner went in to wait for a blood test, I went over to Sainsbury’s for a sandwich and paper. Went back to the hospital reception and she was already in for her test. Out she came, now for X-ray, went to the waiting area, I went back to reception for coffees. Back to X-ray, she was in. Total time 40 mins. Quality of care-amazing What a fabulous experience ???? Only downside......I paid for 2 hours parking???? Thank you all so much????

This is a great hospital, so lucky to have it here. It is not crowded, main attraction. Polite volunteers always at reception to help. We, the patients should appreciate what they do and as a minimum thank them; the don't have to volunteer. Staff great too. Blood test with minimal waiting time. I have been to other hospitals, difference is stark.

I can't rate this hub highly enough. If I had the choice to choose which hospital to attend, this would always be my first choice. Wonderful staff, always clean. short waiting times and the best thing of all It's actually run by the NHS. This hub is the NHS at it's best.

Well worth the drive. The wait time at Croydon University Hospital was 2 hours and 40 minutes. I was seen in Purley within 15 minutes and had a prescription within another 5 minutes. All staff friendly and helpful. Excellent service.

Been to there for a scan and orthodontic appointment in the past and had a good experience, however, went in for a blood test today(first time) and the nurse did not clean the area and cotton wool used after bloods were taken was just left on the arm of the chair before use!

Excellent NHS hub and minor emergency unit. Very short waiting times compared with main A&E in Mayday Hospital. Staff very friendly, doctors very attentive and the care and advice received was amazing. Easy to park outside and locally and not expensive, which was a bonus.

The hospital premises seem perfectly satisfactory. However, I found the consultant I saw to have an impatient manner and to be a poor listener, which was disappointing, as I'd waited to be referred for more than a year. I also think it important that NHS consultants should have a reasonable command of the English language, so that they can be understood by the patient and vice versa.

Booked in for a post natal appointment for 5 day old baby and wife who had a c section and was in considerable discomfort. We arrived on time, checked into reception who told us where to wait. After waiting for more than 1 hour I went to enquire at reception why were weren't being seen only to be told that the mid wife didn't turn up today. Eventually after waiting for a considerable time longer we were seen. Very unprofessional and very poor service.

This is a hospital that has a walk-in service for local doctor’s surgeries for facilities such as blood tests & x-rays amongst others. The hospital is modern & clean & the staff are pleasant. A nice change from Maydie Hospital in Croydon.

The GP Hub is a Godsend. I wish I'd known about it earlier, as the Keston Medical Practice is closed at weekends and calling 111 is a bit of a lottery: sometimes you get a competent, nice person who you can hear, while other times... I have to say that the people who man the phones at Keston Medical Practice are also very good. Anyway, 08:00 — 20:00 drop-in service. Better than having to drive to Croydon or Redhill for A&E!

Friendly staff, good experience being welcomed to the hospital and assisted in where to go. Receptionist helped us get to the right hospital when we went here by accident once. Let down by the lack of emotion / availability of a sense of humour of the doctors and nurses, who could have made us feel more at ease.

It only takes one person to taint your view, in my case a hostile sonographer. Rather than explaining what she was going to do, she grabbed my sore ankle to put it in position and was annoyed when I indicated where I was feeling the most discomfort.
