MUMS

We have now had 2 foetal scans at MUMS along with a HARMONY blood test. The service is excellent and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Appointments occur on time and partners/spouses are allowed to attend. The quality of the service is so much better than what is currently available in the NHS. We are going to be booking additional scans for reassurance because the quality of the service has been so good. I am a hospital consultant myself and can vouch for the excellent facilities and staff here.

Fantastic experience with very friendly staff, clear explanations and great insights. The video of the baby on the USB stick was the cherry on top. Strongly recommended.

Dr.Poonam is one of the best consultants i've ever seen ,her warm and friendly manner instantly puts you at ease, She is very understanding and listens to your concerns. I was given time to explain my symptoms without being rushed, listened to, my questions were fully answered and treatment options explained. Highly recommend

It is my first pregnancy, I was recommended MUMS from a friend as I was a little worried about everything, they took me through for my ultrasound, explained and reassured me that everything was ok, and I heard the little heartbeat ????, (i was 6 weeks). I love how all the staff followed covid procedures to the T. My partner was allowed to go with me and that was the best thing in this very horrible time. I would like to thank this place and would highly recommend to anyone early or far into there pregnancy. Thank you so much for the reassurance and high quality of service provided to me and my partner.

The service I had a MUMS is second to none. I was seen really quickly for a concerning ovarian cyst. I had the most wonderful, supportive and understanding consultant discuss the ultrasound scan with me. She was so brilliant and followed up with me (despite not needing too) the week afterwards and went over and above to get me on a list for a private MRI. I can not recommend them highly enough and would say they were there for me when I needed support the most.

I can’t recommend MUMS enough; all the staff are Very Professional and understanding to any concerns I had and made me feel very at ease. The equipment they offer is of the highest quality and everywhere is extremely clean. I had several early pregnancy scans (due to personal reasons), 15 week Gender scan and 4D Scan, all were done with the same outstanding service, all done on time and they took the time at each scan to examine the baby from top to bottom. MUMS offer more than just pregnancy scans too, I had a pregnancy reflexology session and again the staff were highly knowledgeable and professional. Fantastic experience all round I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My wife and I have had several scans here throughout the pregnancy. The staff could not be more friendly. Watching my wife get excited when interacting with the ladies who made her feel special makes me feel good too. We recently had our gender scan, Dr Davide was very thorough and again, the ladies were very kind towards my wife and I. Highly recommend this place. Thanks :-)

Professional and kind staff, very welcoming. Clean and bright looking centre, would definitely recommend.

Friendly and professional service from the receptionist and Davide the practitioner. However very disappointed that someone had been 'fitted in' last minute before us, as this meant that I had another 20 minute wait passed our appointment time with a full bladder. As we were the last appointment of the day I really felt they should have been 'fitted in' after us.

A massive thank you to all at MUMS in Solihull. We had our 15 week gender scan this morning and were absolutely delighted with the team! Apologies I did not catch all names of staff as were very excited, however Dr Davide Casagrandi providing the Ultrasound. Fantastic premises and amazing staff, who took time to take us through the findings. I have already recommended you to my friends and we will shortly be going out to celebrate. I never write reviews but given that I was incredibly nervous about having my ultrasound done, my goodness the ladies at MUMs were more than friendly. It’s now my second visit and on both occasions I was seen by Vicky Parsons and Sue. Both the ladies are so warm and friendly. The whole place feels friendly and not like a stereotypical clinical setting. I’m booked in for a 3rd visit (except not with Vicky and Sue this time) although I’m sure I’ll be well looked after. To any mums-to-be and /or partners, I can’t recommend this place enough. Massively grateful and if you weren’t all professionals, I’d be doing the rounds of hugs every time ;-) x

To the owner reply, I was not offered any same day appointment by your assistant but been advice that I can't reach you. I have raised a compliant but certainly no on one get back to me until I wrote a pubic review. I strongly recommend you check your phone records. Instead, I have no choice but book an another private GP appointment and growth scan with the other practice. If I been offered such same day service, do I need to go somewhere else? --------------------- I have my antenatal appointments booked at Mums. In general, their midwives and receptionist are friendly and caring. However, I am very disappointed with consultant Mike and his assistant, who are money oriented and neglecting patient's health condition. In my first appointment, the obstetrician and the also owner of the clinic, Dr Mike who gave me a 1 hour sales talk and asked me lots of personal questions for his 'affordability test purpose', such as, what is myself/my husband's/my father's and my mother's job. One of the benefits he stated " He would be given his number, so I could ask him any pregnancy-related questions". He wrote to my GP and confirmed I will under his care for my antenatal care. I also told him I would like to under his care until the point I left the country at 35 weeks. Yesterday, I felt extremely headache and got low blood pressure. So, I have texted him but no one got back to me until next morning his assistant rang me, Mike will not answer the questions since I am not having the baby with him. This service is only for his 10k package. It is obviously my health and my baby's health are not essential to them. They are not responsible for them although I have my every antenatal appointment with them after 23 weeks. What they told me to promote their service is not necessary means they will deliver it. They can change their promise at any point during the process. I believe professional care facilities should first recommend where to get medical advice instead of getting rid of their responsibility and ignoring the patient's critical condition. Even an additional fee incurred for the professional fees, I believe I am more than happy to pay. All my friends delivered in London have wonderful private antenatal services and the obstetrician treat them no difference before the moment they have the baby. It is absolutely normal for a business facility with the top priority of profit-orientated. However, it also essential for a private clinic with high ethical standard and quality service.

Very impressed with the consultation I had with Poonam, so informative, reassuring and someone who actually listens, only wish we had consultants like her years ago. Would have no hesitation in to recommending her and the lovely clinic in Solihull.

I attended MUMS for a gender scan earlier this year. The team were really friendly, professional and compassionate. I really appreciated the time you took to talk us through all the images and how thorough you are, far superior to our experience in the NHS. Great Service Fantastic Sonographer ! Very satisfied! We and our Baby Son mini toddler was very pleased with your all mini toys even after Mini Movie Session that even clap the hands in the Car. Actual experience great - nice clinic, introduction good. But aftercare appalling. Had ordered a NIPT. Says 7-10 days but I had to chase them on day 10 and then 11. The delay made us really worried there was something wrong with our baby. Eventually got results on day 13. I then wrote an email but they couldn’t even be bothered to reply. Gives the impression that they take your money and couldn’t care less about you after that point. Awful customer service. Will not return and won’t be recommending to anyone.

Belated but I wanted to review MUMS for their great care and accuracy. I had very early pregnancy scans as I have PCOS and didn’t want to wait until NHS first scan to find out how many weeks pregnant I was. I had scans at 4,6 and 12 weeks, which is amazing because I have clear pictures and videos of my son from when he was first just a sac through to when he was a fully formed little baby at his gender scan! They were very professional and informative at each scan about the process of embryo to fetus and the room was clean, warm and relaxing. They set my due date as 27/12/17 which the hospital later changed to 22/12/17 but sure enough I went into labor on the exact date that MUMS had given me and had my healthy baby boy in the early hours of the 28th December 2017. I’d definitely recommend and also visit MUMS again for scans in the future!

I had fourth scans at Mums, plus the blood test for syndrome Down, and the last scan was a 4d scan on 29th Sept 2016, at Solihull branch. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful, which makes the whole experience from start to finish brilliant! We got fantastic images of our baby!! Sonographer and the assistant as well, were lovely and very skilled. Most amazing experience of my whole life & anyone wishing to have a 3D/4D scan- I would definitely recommend you come here! My husband and I decided to go private for the birth of our second child following an unpleasant experience with the NHS with our first. Mike Wyldes / MUMS Clinic was recommended to us by our GP. We paid £9,000 for an elective C-section and an additional £320 for each ultra-sound scan. Initially the service we received was very good however, it started to decline at 37 weeks when we was alerted to the fact that Mike would be overseas towards the end of term which naturally caused panic and alarm. It then became very clear that the date and time of the C-section had been orchestrated to fit around Mike’s holiday. I did go into spontaneous labour whilst Mike was overseas. Mike did text my husband to say he would visit us in hospital the following day only then to send a further text within minutes to say he would not be returning to the UK the next day as planned. Astonishingly there has been no further contact or aftercare with Mike or MUMS following the birth of our son. We did receive a full refund. Based on our own personal experience, we would not recommend MUMS and we have no desire to use their services again. Fortunately we did receive an exceptional experience with the NHS this time round which has restored our faith in the NHS, and has made us aware that private medical care is not always the best and you don’t always get what you pay for!

I Have attended Mums for both Gender scan and Anomaly scan.On both ocassions i have been treated so well by all the staff there.I felt at ease straight away and was explained to about all the measurements and all the parts of the baby and felt reasured straight away.I had my scan using the new Voluson E10 machine and comparing my photos of my son with my daughters scan pictures from 3 years ago at another clinic the difference is huge.They are so clear and detailed. I would recommend MUMS to every mum to be.You certainly get what you pay for. .

Fantastic worth every penny

I attended an early pregnancy scan with sonographer Vicky Parson, i was given an uncertain result so naturally i felt shocked and worried. She didnt seem bothered about my feelings and hurried me out of the room. Very insensitive , will never return. There was no option to post until i nominated a star .

Came here with my both pregnancies and I'm very happy! Staff friendly, all info in USB.
