After a week in St. Thomas Hospital, I can say I am fully recovered and getting back into the routine. Thanks to the medical staff who were very attentive and gentle when dealing with their patients.
As for the carers, some lessons in attitude could prove beneficial. Same goes for the cleaning staff. Most are Indian nationals who's ideas of hygiene leave a lot to be desired. Washing the floors is not enough during such a critical period. Furniture, fabrics etc require sanitization regularly.
Bathrooms need to be cleaned thoroughly and not just once a day.
My overall experience was a positive one because even food is varied. You just need a good appetite. The beds are comfortable and having your own TV is an added bonus.

Further to your comment no he did not discard anything at all just added another pair - ie pair number 3 not two and the result was conterminated and therefore whatever you say won't stand the medical negligence case against this hospital
Covid 19 test was performed without changing gloves or santizing just put new gloves on top but without even cleaning with alchohol the ones underneath which basically were used to touch the new gloves and therefore would be useless and conterminated. I have never seen such a reckless and dirty procedure not following any health guidance whatsoever. The Indian doctor who did not care to clean his gloves should be sacked

We went to STH to get a Covid-19 test we needed with extreme urgency. We were tested in a garage, but that was expected, so nothing wrong there. We paid upfront 280€ cash (for 2 people) as no other payment option was available, with the promise that the tests would have been sent ASAP.
After 5 days we are still waiting for the results, locked up in quarantine because of this delay, and every day the people there come up with some phony excuse and empty reassurances like “we will ask the medic to do it ASAP; you will be handled with the highest priority, etc.”
We don’t even know if we will receive the results at all as they candidly told us “unless the samples were lost by the lab, it happens..”
In the mean time 4 of our fiends tested at the Saint James Hospital in the exact same days as us (13th August): 2 got the result the same day, the others the next morning (for the exact same cost of 140€ each).
Avoid this hospital for testing at all costs if you need the results of your tests

Very clean and well organized hospital. I made a reservation for a gynecologist check up and it was easy to get consultation, pep smear and ultrasound on 1 visit. It costs about €120. Highly recommend.

4 star for hospital service and cleanliness, minus 3 stars for customer service, we got a test from the hospital last 2 weeks ago and the experience with the girl on the lobby is not acceptable.
I think even though a customer have forgot to tell or miss to tell something, there is a proper way how to handle a customer and not showingn something which is unprofessional.
'sometimes i dont know if i am speaking chinese or what.!' some words she uttered.
And the girl beside her cannot speak of what she is acting.
In the end we just paid for the test and go to another doctor to have the test readings. Maybe the girl just have a bad day and we understand but you lost your customers.
