St Michael's Hospital

This is the second time that I have been in this hospital for blood tests. As you walk in the door there is a relaxing atmosphere. You feel it when the nurse greets you when you walk in. I waited a few minutes and then went into the cubicle and got another greeting by a lovely nurse. As she was taking the the blood we talked and had a laugh. As I went to leave everyone said goodbye. Absolutely fantastic appointment. All the staff I met are an asset to the NHS. Well done to all. Regards Barry McIntyre.

All my antenatal appointments where here and thankfully I was low risk and able to have my baby here. I was able to stay overnight after having my son in the morning which was reassuring incase I had any questions/needed help feeding etc. Staff are absolute LEGENDS! Everyone so helpful and caring. If I was to give birth again I wouldn't hesitate to choose wjc! Couldn't ask for a better experience Thank you to everyone who works here especially Helena, Ismey and Maggie x The Deamer Family :)

My wife and I had our son here in Feb 2020, every appointment we had up to the birth, the staff were great and being a first time father, when it came to the actual labour I didnt really know what to do or when to bring the wife in, when I phoned them to tell them shes in labour they were very helpful. When I brought the wife in it was lovely to see the same midwives we had all the way through our previous appointments. We had 3 midwives to ourselves that night and we had a very well equipped huge room with everything we needed in it. We gave birth to a very healthy boy at 4:05am. We cannot thank WJC enough and will always recommend them. Our friends are having their first in a few months and have chosen WJC to have their baby after our fantastic experience. Thank you WJC

Absolutely lovely people. I was registered to give birth here but ended up going to broomfield for extra checks and having an emergency c section. If the lovely midwives hadn’t quickly referred me to broomfield as extra caution I would hate to think what could have happened. Lovely and friendly staff.

My experience of phlebotomy is disappointment! Not enough staff. This clinic needs an urgent overhaul. It is like being in the 1970's again. Excellent staff though, two hours waiting is too long. Especially for fasting blood tests.

I was born at this hospital (the old one) almost 30 years ago with no issues!. Had my son here and was absolutely fantastic! Super clean, staff were all AMAZING! Its very calm, very private, and the staff are so supportive and caring! I Deffo recommend to anyone ! Not in the area sadly but am planning on coming back to have my 2nd child hopefully, as nothing compares to WJC. x

The women here were very funny about my partner having her baby at Broomfield they tried very hard to get her to give birth at ill-equipped wjc she found the experience horrible and felt bullied

Definitely the best experience I could have had after a nightmare pregnancy caused by the midwifes I had in London, even though I ended up in Broomfield hospital for an emergency c section they were more than happy for me to come back for help with breastfeeding. They make u so comfortable and don't make u feel awkward for asking questions or calling them at weird hours to put ur mind at ease.. I cannot recommend them enough.
