CWH is simply the best hospital I have ever had to deal with. We just visited an in-patient who extolled their quality service. I, myself, recovered from a traumatic accident there and can confirm that they give the best care. How can I not be grateful? They saved my life.

These folks have some stressful, thankless jobs. I commend the staff of Confluence Health for all that they do from the management to housekeeping to pharmacists to security to food services. The staff deal daily with angry and sometimes violent individuals, overdoses, mental health patients, suicidal people and the list goes on. The Security team is awesome, super funny and very helpful. Thank you Confluence Health staff!

We were helped right away when in the room. Because his breaths were so short and tight, the respiratory specialist and doctor came in before the nurse did. They ordered a breathing treatment right away followed by a drinkable steroid. He felt almost immediately better, and they confirmed it by checking his breathing. Overall, we were there for about 2 hours. I think that's pretty efficient for an ER visit.

I went in today for my 1st Covid vaccine shot today at the hospital. Totally professional, fully staffed crew getting it done right. What stood out for me the most was the positive, upbeat attitude, you could see the smiles shining right through the masks. Excellent job by everybody there!

I was in the waiting room for over an hour. That's normal for an emergency room. I presented with acute pain and radiculopathy. It was hard for me to sit still and wait. The Triage staff was very good. The screener at the door was professional. The ladies behind the glass in admissions were laughing and carrying on about their chipotle lunch delivery and their lives in general. All the while, their patients were in pain and parents were trying to comfort injured children. Unprofessional at best. I was brought to the back and listened to several patients conversations with their doctors for over an hour... also unprofessional and many HIPA violations. I left, disgusted, without being treated. The Director of Nursing and the Attending Physician should have remedial training in leadership, Hipa regulations, personal communication and bedside manners. Feel free to contact me if you need more context.

You will be judged as soon as you walk through the ER doors the staff and doctors will not give you the care you expect you are there bread and butter and that's it, I'm sorry but be warned. No dignity in this place

To every one of them, from a CNA, MA, NURSE, DOCTORS, and The FOOD SERVICE, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Keep up the good work! RG

“My entire family is seen here now. They take Blue Cross insurance and their receptionists, nurses/MAs and doctors/PAs are always super friendly. They can usually get you in no problem around your schedule and immediately when needed,

Recent cardiac emergency surgery and recovery time. Everyone--staff, nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, and surgeons were attentive, caring, and efficient, even though the hospital was swamped with Covid patients. Nursing staff were understanding and thoughtful toward my wife and daughter all through my stay. I was happy to go home, but while I was there, the people made it the best hospital experience I have ever had. They saved my life and made me feel safe.

We had to transfer my dad out of this hospital to Seattle. If we wouldn’t have, he would have died in their care. Don’t recommend this hospital at all

I had surgery at this hospital and the service and care was great. This hospital is very close to my home so if I ever need to go to the ER this is where I will be going. The staff was very pleasant and professional

They literally do nothing here. Diahreaa, vomiting body aches, headache, and slight trouble breathing. Must be bronchitis doctor said. Even though it doesn't explain even half my symptoms. Asked doctor what was causing all the other issues if it's bronchitis. His answer? I don't know but there's nothing more I can do. How is there nothing more you can do? Did you take blood? No. Did you look at throat, no. Did you do anything at all? No. I guess that their idea of figuring out a problem is to guess about diagnosis. Try to prove diagnosis, fail, then say sorry and kick me out. Not limited to this incident alone. Don't waste your time coming unless you have no other choice.

My dad went here they gave him wrong medicine for a whole year wrong diagnose and has slowly been getting worse with every visit they only prescribe drugs like it’s the only opinion or option they can give and can never provide a solid translator everything they did to him they had to re do in Seattle disappointed in the amount of training some of these nurses/doctors have!

Rudest people in the ER the doctors and staff are the worst I've seen around you will wait hours to get the help ,in my visit you could hear screams come in from the room next to me and then laughter from doctors and staff there ,stay away unless your ready to be treated very poorly and without respect.

A month ago, I experienced a life threatening event. From emergency admitting through post-surgery intensive care; CWH physicians, nurses, and all staff exemplified an organization of "caring, personable, highly professional, and most competent" individuals. A team that acted quickly and correctly. Absolutely, positively saved my life. CWH, thank you for EVERYTHING. I OWE YOU.

We are so grateful for the care we received at the ER at Central Washington Hospital. While on vacation in the area, my 2 year old became very ill, despondent, and throwing up blood. Forgive me as I didn’t catch their names. But the intake nurse was very sweet, as was the nurse once we were in a room. They both did a great job of truly engaging my daughter, not just me or my husband. The nurse, got her stickers and cups and when he spoke with her, he waited for her response which brought her out of her shell. Even the ultrasound technician did a great job with her so she wasn’t scared. What could have been a very difficult visit was actually very wonderful. The doctor was very nice too, but we didn’t see him as much. Thank you to all of the staff!

My mom went into this hospital and never came out alive because of inexperienced non-caring nurse and the lack of understanding of my mom's condition she died because of it!!!!!! There was a plan in place for when she exacerbated it was never followed by this nurse...You should not have to beg a nurse for help to make your mom survive.. my mom's experience will forever be burned in my mind... Love you Mom sorry we took you to this hospital....

The worst food EVER! Was a patient there a couple years ago, and the entire experience was awful. And a sandwich on the weekend? I need surgery again in the near future so I HOPE the menu is better by now. Also, my wife ordered mashed potatoes when she was in the cafeteria, and they came cold and lumpy. And no, they sure were not free. The care was excellent, however.

Went to the ER at 4am on a Sunday for pain in my lower abdomen. Felt very welcomed by nice nurses and great doctors. I was given quick care and there were no surprises, had surgery for appendicitis, and was out by 6pm the same day. I couldn't be more thankful for the nurses, doctors, and the surgeon who cared for me. The hospital was a nice facility and while the food wasn't great, it wasn't that usual horrible hospital food.

If I could put 0 stars I would.. I have a large AVM in my left shoulder they did not take it seriously that was swelling I had to go get treated and a different ER department which indicated it was swelling and red and I had to take medicine for it. They had a guy from the psych part come to get me from the lobby And told me to put a psych gown on when I do not have any mental health issues at all which was odd. I then left cause I felt very uncomfortable I didn't indicate anything to have that type of psych treatment. I will be filing complaint

Staff were all amazing. I had to stay after surgery for 3 days and 2 nights and the clean and professional atmosphere was without a doubt the best I have ever experienced. That said, the staff were also very likable and endearing. A wonderful balance. I never had to remind anyone to wash their hands, and even when they were very busy, the RN and or CNA saw to my needs in a very timely manner. No one wants to have to stay in a hospital, but if I do ever again. I hope it's here. On a side note but equally important to me. The food was great. Always served hot and on time.

So far, I'm not very impressed. I'm attempting to call as my mom is in assisted living and was transported there by ambulance. I was transferred to the emergency department where I was supposedly put on hold but heard, "It's room X's daughter... I'll just hang up," followed by a click. Now I've called back and been told the line is busy and I'll need to call back again. This is not treatment I expected. I'm 2,200 miles away and feel totally helpless.

Worst experience. My dad was dizzy and about to pass out and all they had to say was they had no bed for him. So he went and laid on the concrete. My mom was asking for help and a nurse said she doesn’t need to yell for help. They are lucky he didn’t hit his head on the concrete.

Where do I start? They treat my disabled mother like a naughty dog and keep her overmedicated. They keep her from her adaptive equipment so she can't move or take care of her needs. They disregard her requests to be allowed to sober up off of too many meds. They entirely disregard requests made for patient health by family & refuse to communicate appropriately. They allow their employees to be overtly violent with women who have undergone severe trauma, including visitors who don't even raise their voices or cuss at them. They allow their social workers to lie, and were trying to send my mom to a city other than the one she is from, and where she has support. They lie to families and laugh about it, I hear lots of awful things in the background when mom is waiting on them to take the phone. I'm looking for lawyers, this is one of the worst medical establishments I have ever encountered.

Great facility, great staff. From the Emergency Department, to Diagnostic Imaging area, to OR and PACU recovery, to their ICU, MEDICAL and Surgical units; this is an outstanding and well run facility. They're human and no one is perfect, but there is no other place like this in the state, and I have seen the others. Except for some random or specific specialist intervention that you might need to travel to have done elsewhere, I'd be very comfortable having myself or any of my family members treated here...and I have. This Valley is very lucky, more like blessed to have this caliber of hospital and staff here.

I could not have received better care starting in the emergency room until released. I was seen in virtually no time. The admission person was speedy, professional and thorough. The nurse walked me back, and the emergency doc was in within 10 minutes. It was determined I would need a specialist who showed up in about 15 minutes. The nursing staff was so awesome, they should be on the lecture circuit on how to take care of a patient. Since I had a GI bleed, and I needed to be cleaned out, they were there despite how disgusting it was. They refused to let me feel embarased, way beyond the call of duty. And where they get a platinum star was in how they helped my wife. She was genuinely frightened for my life, and so was I. They tended to her nerves and her needs as if she were the one who was admitted. As shifts changed, the communication was as seamless as Tom Brady passing to Gronk. They were sympathetic, empathetic, caring, nurturing and professional. Procedures were done in my hospital room, and the team from GI was equally skilled. Truly, had someone filmed my experience, it could be used as an advertisement for care and professionalism as a whole and for each of the teams that tended to me. THANK YOU ALL!!!

Went to ER because of left lower back pain. Doctor took a urine test and found blood. CT test was negative for kidney stones but was done without contrast. He diagnosed me with a back strain. I asked my doctor how is it possible to have blood in the urine and not have stones? He said "that's a good question" but never answered me. Medications given to me while in the ER were not listed on discharge paper work. I was prescribed the same muscle relaxer to take home that I was given in the ER; of which I told the nurse multiple times was not helping.

They charge you as much as they can, and make you jump through hoops so they can make money on redundant appointments. American healthcare is a scam, but it's not like you can avoid it unless you want to die.

I'm here visiting in Washington and I have breathing issues, I'm so afraid I might need to come here only because "THE OWNER" has the same response to every review not in there favor? Nothing to that person but a Generic message from probably just One Touch of a button. Sad no REAL response? I'm just saying

Our mom's time spent in TCU as well as short time in PCU was very positive. The doctors, the care management team, the nursing staff, the PT/OT staff, the activities staff, the financial department, as well as the food service, and housekeeping were not only professional, but very caring!!! Mom commented daily that they treated her so well. Our family was also kept informed by the team. One of us was with her almost daily for four months so we had first hand view. Thank you Central Washington Hospital and Professionals!

Worst place ever, treated my dad with nothing but disrespect until the day he died. One of the nurses "caring" for him told him that he should rethink being resuscitated cause it's not worth it. If I could give zero stars I would.

This place is garbage. I am in so much disbelief I’m taking matters in to my own hands. How I was rudely dealt with by a nurse in medical unit 1. I call to speak to dr Dillon and she asked who I was I told her and she then proceeded to ask me personal info about myself and I told her I wasn’t giving her that because I’m not obligated to and she said I can’t help you and then I heard click which means she hung up on me. Well that’s nothing compared to the report I have along with that. The hospital smells like urine from the moment you walk through the doors. I am extremely disappointed in there way of handling things like they won’t give info to the mother of the patient but yet I can fly from California an I get a personal meeting with the doctor so something is clearly wrong here. So just wanted to say thank you for not standing up to proper hospital protocol I’ve taken matters in my own hands.

Worst hospital ever, they judge you automatically when you arrive, doctor was a prick very judging his job is to treat your illness or symptoms not to judge, no bedside manner what so ever , could hear them making jokes in the hall. If I could give zero stars I would. Confluence has turned into a monopoly there quality of care has gone to trash, why should they care, there is no where else in the valley to go late at night for emergency care .

I was admitted on October 25, 2018 with massive PEs (blood clots) in both lungs. I was experiencing severe respiratory distress. The doctors and staff did an exceptional job of treating me and went out of their way to accommodate my family who traveled from Seattle and Vancouver to visit. They even put me in a room with a sleeper sofa so my husband could stay in the room with me rather than sleeping in the car or renting a motel. Both the Doctors and nurses kept me, and my family informed about my condition, treatment protocols, and made an extra effort to explain treatments and medications and the reasons for choosing a specific course of drugs. I was discharged on October 29th. Not cured, but with specific instructions and drugs. The follow-up care has been nothing short of exceptional. My entire experience started at the Omak clinic in the morning, progressed to the Mid Valley Hospital, and finally a second ambulance ride to Wenatchee. The entire staff at both Confluence Health and Lifeline Ambulance treated me concern and respect. I would recommend this hospital and the entire Confluence system to anyone who wants to experience extremely dedicated health care professionals and exceptional care. Gail A Sunde – Coulee City, WA

Awful ER service, not only was I not treated properly for my condition, they caused immense pain and scarring that will cause future problems. The doctor I had admitted that they had not done many of these procedures and after two inscisions asked for help from a senior doctor who said to just keep trying and left the room. I had to go to an ER in Kirkland 48 hours later to have the issue resolved properly. They still feel they provided adequate care and I am being charged full price for their malpractice.

I visited your ER last night, I drove my mom and aunts friend over 1 hour in the dark to get them there safely. Right off, I was surprised at the rude and belittling intake staff. Hospital, please provide customer service workers training to your staff, stress empathy towards others. A first impression is a lasting one. Teach your intake clerks that rude, sceptical and demeaning behavior is unacceptable. I was surprised in the inconsistency in security. Security searched my aunts friends bag(after doctor admitted her)for weapons but didn’t search anyone else’s bag? If your going to search one, search them all, weapons come in all sizes. Security was nice, after dealing with the intake staff. But I was concerned at his search techniques, reaching into deep pockets without know what was in them, security also searched the bag on the floor, compromising his safety crouched down with his back to an open space. Please train your security staff on proper and consistent searches, provide them with equipment to ensure their safety.
