Fantastic service. The store manager (Beverley) was very accommodating during Lockdown by extending the returns window for me. Staff always have lots of good advice and seem very knowledgeable.

A lovely store with very reasonably priced, quality items. I’m the proud owner of 6 pairs of Loake footwear (3 pairs of boots and 3 pairs of shoes). Have found them to be extremely comfortable and of superb quality at a very reasonable price. I have found the staff to be helpful, polite and friendly and would have no hesitation in recommending Loake products to anyone. The leather goods are gorgeous! Far superior in quality to similar priced “designer” items. So many Loake items that I would love to add to my wardrobe (belts, holdalls etc). English brand items that I’m proud to own.

Top notch establishment with great helpful staff, great footwear i have purchased a number of shoes from here most recently the new Parliament in Blue which i have taken in for repolishing after scuffing them, Chris did an amazing job on them as well as my Tan Brouges. Shoes can be returned for repair, resole, etc Disabled access. Highly recommended.

Great shoes at very reasonable prices good customer service

I am in my late 30’s and have always taken pride in my selection of shoes. I am originally from Yorkshire Leeds but happened to be in Birmingham over the weekend. I was invited to formal meal on Saturday night and forgot to pack my shoes! So i went straight to the phone and googled handful of places including loake. Having already had purchased a number of pairs over the years i have always enjoyed the quality of the shoes and the service that i have received in the loake store that makes me want to return. (Leeds store) Having set my mind to loake i had already made my mind i will buy a pair shoes before i had arrived to the shoe shop. The young sales gentleman was very friendly and commanding he seemed new as i normally get told the kind of leather the shoes are latest trends and how to look after the shoes which was missed but i had the knowledge anyhow. I was under dressed as i just finished a workout, but i really felt the other sales assistants were very cold and with one moved towards the door of the shop and the other female assistant just watching over me watching my every move. I know its little things but the young sales assistant who was kind just handed me the shoe. No shoe horn and not placed and checked for spaces around my feet for a the perfect fit like the service i am used too in Leeds store.( i think this is just a training issue ) After i decided on the pair of shoes and bought them i asked if i could use the toilet, having just spent over £100 did not think this now be an issue and offer a customer a kind service. The female assistant that still watching my every move like i was going to line my pockets with the entire shop gave the young assistant a strong sturdy look, which would have been a yes turned into no. As i headed out of the shop with my purchased shoes the other sale assistant finally moved from the front door. I still love the brand and shoes its a shame customers so not receive the same kind of service as other stores. This store definitely needs to have a sales training from one of the other stores more importantly to understand never judge a book by its cover nor treating paying customers differently down to the dress wear. I will not be returning to his individual shop again.

Called them this afternoon with regards to a shoe polish...I was advised by a nice lady there was availability for a while you wait polish... so I drive there and a very rude man serving refused me a service...I won't be back.... Anyway I found a very nice shop next door where Mark very kindly polished my shoes and talked to me with manners and respect!

Brilliant service, and a superb product!! The staff are professional and very client centric, took time to run through various bits of information.

Excellent service and informed staff. I picked up a pair of Holborn Oxford shoes, the assistant was very helpful, took an interest in my needs, was very knowledgeable about the structure and construction of the shoes as well as the history of the company. Gave me great advice as to taking care of the leather and even polished the shoes before boxing them up for me.

Although the shoes may be considered expensive, mine were £180 when I only usually pay £60ish, they are the best fitting shoes I have ever had. Immediately comfortable. It's also good to know they are handmade in England so supporting the economy. They will last a long time and I will be buying more shoes from there.

Only a small shop but first class shoes. And great service. It's good that this sort of place is still around and doing well.

There are many shoe shops in Birmingham City Centre but you'd be hard pushed to find a better service, or indeed a better shoe than that found here. Staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly making the whole experience a pleasure.

Top quality shoes that last years should one properly care for them. Quality really does speak for itself.

My first experience of the Loake brand. Definitely recommend visiting this shop for a friendly comprehensive service. Will use again.
