We used Magicman to repair an awkward chip on the worktop around the kitchen sink. We sent in photos and promptly received a quote. The work was scheduled in a timely matter. Matthew was friendly and pleasant and did a fantastic job with the repair. It is not at all visible and it was a chip that was difficult to access. Very happy with Magicman. This is our second time using them (they repaired a chip in a floor tile 2 years ago).

Work carried out by these lot is over priced and poorly prepped. Technician named Bradley masked off the job to the standard of a five year old. Have seen the repair process of this firm and can say honestly that other repair companies often have better technicians at a better price

Expensive but good job. £222 to repair this one inch burn. I would leave 5 stars but my wife said they were too needy and kept bothering her when she was busy with the kids. Still what's the alternative? new worktop would be more than £222. Overall happy.

Adam from Magicman came to repair my black granite worktop that had become chipped. Adam did a superb job and my workshop looks like new! Not only that but Adam kept me informed of his arrival time which really helped me organise my morning. He was professional and a pleasure to speak to. I highly recommend Magicman for any repairs like mine. The alternative would have been a whole new work top so I’m really pleased with the result after Adam had finished filling the chips. Perfect finish!

We heard "Magicman" were good, but we didn't think they would be that good! They were amazing!!! we had a chip in our bath and I was ready to replace the whole suite but gave a repairer a chance to save it, I'm glad I did they saved me thousands thank you so much!! I WILL be using them again!!

Charged £354 for two tile repairs. One tile crack repair failed completely within 4 months with the crack not only visible but getting worse. The other repair has discoloured and is visible but their material is at least still intact.
Asked them to address the defective repair as within 12 months warranty.
They will only return to site if paid a further £185+vat as a goodwill gesture!!!
The repairs aren’t insured against longevity - 4months??
Definitely avoid. At these odds, diy would have been better

After lots of messages saying they can fix 3 scratches on floor for 265 plus vat, turn up say its only one scratch they will do for this price then refuse and leave.

Truly awful service from MM. Was forced to use them by my building insurance company. When the bath resurface ran into issues they failed to act on the complaint, either ignored emails or promised to respond but did not do so. Bath surface is flaking, yellowing and marked. Can't recommend at all. Just avoid and buy a new bath. Pity my insurance forced me to use them and now I am stuck with the issue.

Magicman were recommended to me by a building company that came to quote for some flooring work. They suggested I contact Magicman to repair the chips to my kitchen floor tiles, rather than replacing the entire floor.
A speedy response to my initial enquiry and all booked in for the work to be completed within a week.
Punctual, professional and respectful of all COVID regulations.
I am so impressed by the quality of the work. To the point, I rebooked Adam to come back to complete further work.
Highly recommended.

Quartz worktop chip repair. Had a technician called Dan for the repair. Really nice guy, very professional. Turned up on time. Explained how he was going to repair it. Completely invisible repair, cannot even find the original area of the chip! Very happy with the quality of work. Highly recommended.

DON'T DO IT. This company is a joke!
I really wish I had taken heed of these one star reviews before I parted with my money for this VERY expensive service, after about 6 months the paint in the repair started peeling off in sheets and now reveals the orange filler they used to repair a small chip- it now looks worse than it did before the repair, I contacted Magicman's Customer Care department about this, the response I received from their 'technician' incredibly accused me of 'picking' at the repair. I went back to them extremely offended by this and was met with indifference, they put it back in for a second time for a technical evaluation and return to me with the same response.

I had scratches to several comm’s cabinets I deployed for a large Federation at their new UK head offices, unfortunately the cabinets became damaged over the construction phase. The Magicman Engineer made them look better than new, a big thank you. Well done guys…

Couldn’t recommend enough! Had three burn marks in our laminate kitchen worktop. It came out as good as new and you can’t tell where the burns used to be. Especially because it’s a strange worktop finish as well I’m so impressed with the quality. Job was done quickly and efficiently. Thank you!

Crack on bath re-appeared within weeks. Understand that these things happen, however I have reported the problem to 'customer care' on three seperate occasions and have been promised same day call backs which have not happened. Unacceptable after care.

We had a big chip in a quartz worktop that needed repairing. I was initially put off Magicman by the poor Google reviews, but we couldn't find any one else locally to repair our worktop.
Sent a photo of the damage and got a call back with the price and made appointment for the next day. I wanted more information about the repair, so I Spoke to a technician about the techniques they use. Everything was explained and booked easily.
Technician was very nice and went through the repair process with me before starting. Very happy with results. It's not 100% match, but it's a repair so I didn't expect it to. Was nice to hear how much the technician enjoyed his job and the company he works for.
Paid £180 to repair 2 chips, which I thought was fair. I looked at buying my own repair kit online, but they cost up to £100, So felt the extra cost for a professional service was well worth it.

Rubbish.
Speak on phone. Send pictures. Tell you they can fix it . Pay 180quid basic fee in advance. Told by repair man within 2 secs of seeing it that it can't be done. He then spends most of his time on the phone or chatting about unrelated things.
Another company came and fixed both items no problem today.
And they were cheaper!!!

If I could give a '0' star rating I would. Do not use this service.
We needed to repair 11 doors in our studio. Magicman completed a trial repair for us which was perfect. We agreed to go ahead with all 11 doors. On the technicians first visit, they ran out of time so did not complete the works within the estimated time. It took many calls to get them to actually return. When we finally got a technician back in the studio, he rushed the job and damaged the doors leaving them in a condition worse than when we started. Correspondence has been exchanged for two months now with no satisfactory resolution in sight. We feel so let down by Magicman. Again, do not use this service and save yourself the pain.

Reading the negative reviews is like they are talking about an entirely different company. We used magicman to repair the damage our builder had caused to our brand new kitchen units. The outcome was absolutely fantastic and we are thrilled to have our ‘new’ units back. Communication was great, the chap who came round was extremely professional and friendly, and I got a soft copy of the invoice within 12 hours of requesting it. Perhaps London is a different business but I would highly recommend magicman’s services!

It is definitely brilliant service. Yes you may get pay in advance and yes it is expensive ( thats why only 4 stars). But employee who was repairing my bath was really friendly and helpful. Explained what he is been doing. Only down side that staff over email slightly seems robotic and not as friendly. But overall my bath looks amazing and fixed really well. No issues so far after one week using.

I had a great response when I requested a quote for some kitchen repairs. I asked for a Saturday appointment which carried an increased price which I agreed to. As soon as I asked for a convenient Saturday for the visit all communications stopped. I called 2 different numbers I had from their website and their emails and I was told I'd get a call back. Over a week later and still no response. I've managed to find an alternative company who have quoted £110 less for the same work and are carrying out the job tomorrow. Surely in this day and age, customer service should be the highest priority. I'm grateful in a way as I've saved quite a bit of money, however I wouldn't have looked for the other company had Magicman returned my calls. I'm sure there's a lesson learned for both of us. Consumers shop around and companies, return calls.

Rip off! They charge a fortune for a small job that should have been more than half the price of what they quoted! To repair a small crack in the sink they want £354!!! 'Magicman' just wants to 'magically' rip people off.. that is magic indeed! & they want 'Full payment is required in advance of our attendance by debit or credit card.' Then 'Magically disappear' without completing or doing a poor job? Went with a more reliable and cheaper sink repair company who don't ask money up front! Shop around, there are better companies to use. DO NOT USE MAGICMAN!

Such time wasters, no one knows who is doing what... They literally dropped the kitchen cabinet doors and the guy who dropped them told us he is not responsible to fit the doors back to their place. Unbelievable! This is only one example, we are dealing with them for 6 months now and nothing has been fixed! Stay away from this company!

Repair of external upvc window cill 18th May 2017
Easy application on line for a quote by adding photos of damage. Prompt response next day with quote which I accepted on line.
Called by the professional, helpful Danielle from main office giving me a date of repair and informing me of the name of the Magicman who would do it.
On the day of repair (which was within a week of my call) Nicholas attended punctually and impressed me with his professional and experienced air. The confidence he gave me translated into an excellent outcome. His meticulous repair of the badly damaged and cracked cill took about four hours. It made it look brand new giving no hint that it had been repaired. I paid over the telephone and, the next day I received the full invoice and receipt by first class post.
The alternative to my problem was to have the double glazed windows removed, insert a new cill and replace the windows.
Therefore, Magicman saved me the expense of window removal AND the repair was so good the cill looks brand new.
I highly recommend Magicman, Nicholas and Danielle to you.
