Not very busy, surprisingly. Everyone is wearing masks and keeping a reasonable distance. Not a lot of diversity in the bedding plants.

Nice and open, easy to wander round even with all the Christmas stock and well marked for one way and social distancing. Has a good range of practical and gift products year round and their Christmas area has a nice variety of themes and styles as well as various artificial trees.
It says there's limited numbers but in the pet area there were 2 other people and in the other indoors section maybe ten people we passed walking around. The paying method with social distancing works well and is easy to follow, very relaxed walking around even with the current situation, though may be because it was so quiet.

First visit here, and just a quick visit too. Pet area in separate barn, which you then have to pay for in main shop, by walking round one way system! Nicely laid out however,.. Worth a visit as they are also starting to put out their Christmas stock!!!

I have been a customer at Notcutts for a number of years and have had a loyalty card for 2 years, today's regular weekly visit was so disappointing as I was told my loyalty card had expired, as I could not use it for the duration they were closed because of COVID-19 surely it should have been extended for that time, to add insult to injury if I renewed my card I will not be able to use it in the cafe. It's their loss I will go elsewhere. A very dissatisfied customer.

Had a cream tea. Stale crmbly scone that you couldnt spread the solid clotted cream onto. It was replaced but still not fresh or spreadable. Very disappointing.

Me and my family visited today and went to see the fishes and animals. Matthew spoke to us and showed us Merlin the parrot. He had clear knowledge of the animals you care for, and was very kind and even let my sister hold a little tortoise. Please let Matthew know he made our visit just that more enjoyable and keep up the hard work. Thank you ????

I visited today to buy a couple of Bengalese finches and I have to say the 2 ladies in the pet department were excellent, they were knowledgeable and very professional, I cannot praise them enough for their help and guidance. 10/10 Ladies you are a credit to Notcutts.

This is a very good garden centre carrying most things you will need. However the main attraction is their restaurant. It is always busy and for a good reason, the food is lovely and their coffee is the best one in Peterborough. They make fantastic scones of all kinds. Just make sure you don't show up too late as things will sell out due to the popularity.

Came in today and was struggling to find an oasis. A lovely employee named Karmen helped me find it and even offered a helping hand with another thing. Can not get over what lovely staff they have employed. Will be coming back just because of it.

Nothing wrong with the place as a whole but getting assistance is a nightmare . I wanted to buy an outdoor tree for the front garden so needed help and advice but finding someone was a task, I had to go right into the shop, right through to the checkout and asked a young girl if she could get me some assistance to be told to go back outside and someone would be out there so went and wandered around for another 20 minutes. .gave up in the end. Well their loss, Was willing to spend whatever it cost to get the right tree.

I chose a Christmas tree last week and was served by a very nice employee and collected it today. I was so impressed that they had put my tree in water to keep it fresh and they were extremely helpful getting it in my car. I always buy my tree here, and would definitely recommend them.

Ordered two breakfasts on Mon 8th Jan 2019. Freezing cold plates, had to find someone to deal with. Plate taken to kitchen, without comment, returned with slightly warmer plate. No apology. One sausage missing, repeated above steps. Still no comment from staff.
Will never waste my time or money on such an indifferent service. Future breakfast eaters, be warmed.

21st August 2019 went into cafe 11.25 and ordered 2 jacket potatoes but was told that they were on the lunch time menu which didn't start until 12.00 I went back to our table to ask my wife what else she wanted,we decided on a bacon sandwich. Went back to the counter to order,it was now 11.30, was told that bacon rolls were on the breakfast menu which finished at 11.30 and now not available. Left without having anything. These people are daftand don't deserve to have a business. Went to a café nextdoor and got what we wanted, with a smile and cheaper too.

Great food and the sales are good too. Can be quite expensive otherwise. What they do have is a great range that you don't see anywhere else. The pet shop is excellent best in peterborough.
