Visited this cool shop last week and bought the gin mayo, it taste so nice with chips. This shop is just amazing, the furniture they have is unreal. They sell small items as well and fun stuff. I will be coming back to get my dads birthday present in June. So pleased I found this place, the best part is I'm local to Stamford and just happened to walk past after visiting the broad street practice to get my back sorted.

Wow! Is all I can say to the response I have just had from this store when reporting that an item I had bought for a Christmas present was damaged! I spent £30 on a vintage road sign which was damaged with the wood split and paintwork damaged in two places. I had the item delivered in early December but since I had given it as a Christmas gift it wasn't opened until Christmas day - Obviously !!!! I emailed them firstly on christmas day and then again a few days later. Their email reply states "You received your product on December 2nd and only just reported it to us on December 29th. I'm sorry but we are unable to assist you any further with this matter. " They said they had 24 hours to make a claim against the courier, however to me it looks like the damage would have already been done before being shipped. I'm all for supporting small businesses especially in the current climate, however in this case I wish I really hadn't bothered!

I bought a lovely leather bench for our hallway from Smithers of Stamford. It is very good quality leather and extremely comfortable to sit on. Communication was great and we couldn't be happier with the service and product.

Can not fault my experience with Smithers of Stamford. The item I bought online was exactly as advertised and arrived well packed and in perfect condition. It also arrived very quickly. The variety of quality and unusual items you can purchase mean it’s a perfect place to Shop for a Gift. What’s not to like. I rated this Company Highly and obviously recommend.

Aviator desk purchased and shipped internationally. Great quality and excellent customer service. Nothing was a problem and Nick kept us updated regularly. Item was bought over the internet and not seen prior to purchase and when we received the item we found our expectations were exceeded. A happy experience!

My company has been using Smithers for a number of years now. I tend to pick aviator products for my company. They keep me well informed about everything along the way. Sometimes we have to wait for orders like the egg chairs we just had delivered today. Its the first time I have write a review for this site, but I have been told that they give a 20% off next purchase as well so that sort of is a win win for me. not forgetting how Emma looks after us at Smithers, she's a great lady. I ordered 4 Bar Stools from this company in November, I wasn't too sure if they would be the correct height, but after measuring and confirming with them I placed my order of over £1200.00 When they eventually arrived the quality was substandard, and the stools were extremely shoddily made. When brought to the attention of Nick Smith, Instead of accepting what his customer had to say, and just arranging a refund (as their website states No Quibble Product Service - Your Money Back - Guaranteed) he told me my comment was 'absurd'! (Great Custom,er service skills!)
He tried to tell me I would need to pay a 30% restocking fee as per his website? No where on their website does it state that! (Beware people!)
Thankfully I paid with a credit card, as the credit card company stepped in and refunded me, and made the necessary arrangements to have these items collected.

Couldn’t be happier with the service and products received from Smithers of Stamford.
So far I’ve place 3 orders and all have gone smoothly. Two orders were for smaller items and the third for some furniture for our home.
Whatever the size of order, we have received great communication, quick delivery and brilliant products that were well packed.

So pleased to have stumbled across this amazing website and it’s brilliant products!
I’ve bought a few bits from Smithers now - Stags Head with Birds, Seletti Mouse Lamp, Laundry Sign and the Denim Chesterfield Sofa.
All have been delivered quickly and well packaged. The sofa took a little longer but was definitely worth the wait and communication was good throughout.
Website is easy to use and staff always helpful. Cannot recommend this company enough, especially if you’re looking for something a little different.

It’s a shame to have to rate a company so little but the service we have received regarding our purchase of over £1000 to be delivered has been appalling!!!
We are coming up to 3 weeks now since the order & told it would be 7 days paying £36 postage to call daily with no response back and when I finally get hold of the owner I was greeted with its with the delivery company you’ll have to wait for them to contact you it could be weeks what do you expect we are busy!!!
All I ask is for a little more customer service & feed back nothing more..........
I would definitely not recommend this company nor be purchasing from them again

Dropped in on Nick unexpectedly one afternoon as I'd seen the Woo Woo chairs on his website. What a treasure trove! Bought one on the spot and then the other a couple of days later. They are gorgeous.
