Never experienced such a massive disregard for customers.
Was served by Surya Patel (old Indian bloke) who wasn't shy about displaying his feelings that as a customer I was making his life harder.
I asked for engineering oil.
He got me a bottle.
It wasn't the correct one I wanted so I request if he could check they had the type I was looking for.
He responded "that type won't work on your car, you need to buy this one!".
I responded "I've been using the other type for years and it's been fine. Can you check if you have the other type please".
He responded "why are you making my job harder!?".
I replied "I'm sorry..."
He replied "you're not sorry, if you were sorry you wouldn't make things hard for me and just buy it"
He then sighed, check he had the correct oil I needed and brought it to me.
After the transaction he just sat back down in his seat without saying anything? I wasn't sure if the whole transaction was completed. I had to ask him if I was waiting for anything else. He replied "no!".
I understand his job probably has little to no reward but I know people in much worse places in life who treat people with more respect than he did.
This guy needs either training or firing because people will just stop buying from TPS.

Service from surya is probably the worst I’ve received . He makes you feel bad for asking questions and if you need clarification on car parts he just shrugs his shoulders and has zero knowledge. I have no idea how he got this job in the first place but I think TPS need to Either train or get rid of him because that is not the type of customer service one should expect to receive .

Tps is for trade customers, I run a VAG specialist garage ( Solo automotive ) and have been dealing with TPS Hayes for few years, and I can't fault them the drivers are spot on with delivery's.
There lot of people going to TPS who are not traders and think it's like going to halfords.
Also its Volkswagen who sets the return policy I have incountered charges in the past I know its there policy, so I inform my customers about the policy.
And with regards to the people serving at the front counter the years of experience they have is at another level over 30 years of experience don't happen over night, I just want to point this out some people have left poor comments.
* first you need to know what parts you want it's as easy at that.
* if you are not in the trade then I understand you don't know what you are asking for so how can they help you.
* I have also seen people comparing the parts price with euro car parts & GSF..?????
* I think I have said enough and hope haven't upset or offended anyone.

They charged me 15% as handling charges when I returned some items which I bought for my car. Not sure if it is legal n following return policy!
Firstly he said their HO has ordered them not to any returns today.. then argued a bit n then he said they will charge 15% .. I don’t have any option cause I can’t come back again driving 25 miles for returns..
It’s just ripping off..

Very unwelcoming and empty at first I thought I had walked into a vacant building, staff do not seem to want any form of business. All other TPS counters I have been too have been very helpful and friendly.
