Very friendly, enthusiastic and professional. Covid safe, everything sanitised after being handled. Huge selection of bikes in very good condition (the 2nd hand ones), good selection of parts and extras. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Nice bike shop with all kinds of bikes for men, women and kids. Good prices and discounts. They have new bikes coming in each week so I would definitely recommend giving it a go if you are looking to buy one. They also offer free engraving of your post code on the bike when you buy one.

Thank you for selling me the electric bike today, fantastic good honest service, good price, and a great bike ( Birthday present for my mum) its sold as used, like most bikes in the shop, but i can honestly say if i were told this bike was new, i would not know the difference, same goes with all the bikes on display, thoroughly recommend the place, i will use the shop again, goodbye Halfords !

A disappointing ending for a long term customer ..
Quick background, purchased my Road Bike from these guys back in 2018. Since then I have always opted to utilise this company for services, parts, accessories and would always recommend to friends / family members.
However, on Thursday 22nd I booked my bike in for a service. All went well, however when I unloaded the bike on Friday evening the tyre was completely flat. Like any normal customer, I decided to take the bike back on Saturday morning so someone could have a look at it and fix it. Pretty simple.
I was greeted by a lady who was very friendly and I explained the situation. She then went to get Jason, so he could have a look at it. When Jason greeted me he spoke in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Saying ‘we don’t sabotage bikes here, take it somewhere else’. ‘Why would I purposely ruin the tyre. I only make £2 a tyre’. I was completely taken back by this, as I simply wanted someone to fix the bike so I can go out for a weekend cycle.
I felt extremely disrespected, baffled and highly undervalued as customer. I stayed calm in the situation and made him aware that in no way have I accused him of purposely breaking the bike. At this point he fixed the bike. I received no apology and no explanation as to why I was greeted in that way.
It is a shame this has happened, I like to support the independent businesses and have had no issues with the place until this point.
Message to Jason, please be mindful of how you treat future customers. In no way did I deserve that reaction and I will not be recommending your services from now on.

We purchased my sons bike from here. A really nice family run business, they actually recommended us a bike that was right for our son despite the fact it was cheaper than the one we where looking at they still recommended the right bike for us. They made sure our son could sit on the bike correctly before we purchased it and adjusted the seat higher or lower before we left. They also give a warranty. There is lots more choice in the shop in comparison to online. We will buy all our bikes from here now. Thank you.

Called in to purchase a birthday present (day of, so cash at the ready).
Younger salesman basically talked us out of a sale of any bike in stock. A recommendation was made to what we would require, so we asked if any came in, could we be told and we would come in and buy said bike.
We were told only two staff in this week, so far to busy to do that.
Very poor customer service , shame as great set up, good stock and at good prices.
Easy money lost.
Thanks for the response, I only wish this was the reason given and it came across this well at the time.

Looks like a great shop but THEY DON’T SELL UNICYCLES as in the on wheeled bike. Just a heads up because, perhaps a little foolishly we thought they meant the one wheelers not university-cycles :)

Arranged for drivetrain repairs over the phone, on the day I took it in was then advised the parts hadn't arrived and they had no space to store it. I said I didn't want to bring it back another day due to covid and travel, finally they agreed to keep hold of it. Then when the parts arrived, it was the next day they realised they had ordered the wrong parts. Said they could get the parts the next day but it would be £40 more than if I waited another 4 days. Didn't give me a total price and kept saying they'd have to work it out. I said I was annoyed that they'd had the bike a week and only now realised they had ordered the wrong parts, so told me I could pick it up now if I wanted to. Which I said I would, had no apology and the owner/manager didn't even come out to say anything. Very poor customer service!!! Will not be returning!

Met the owner and his wife today, both are really nice people and very helpful. I'm glad I went there for my new bike and was even given a £20 discount. They have a great selection of used and ex display bikes that look very clean and presentable. Would use again and recommend to others.
