It should give 0 star but I can't give less 1 star. Tried to rob me, I have to pay an extra £ 1,450 for an update that doesn't even work, after 8 years and a 300% price increase they tell me my insurance hasn't been valid for the last 4 years because the policy was not set up correctly. S ..... t the insurance company in my life. They talk to you nicely when you have to pay, but when they need to pay you back, you have to spend 5 hours on the phone 40 times switch over other departments to get your money back. (for 54 days insurance they want to charge me over £ 1,800) this is sick.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Where do i start with this company... after being a customer for 6 years they have done everything to make my time with them as difficult as possible. They have paid out on a fraudulent claim even though i proved my innocence and they even sent someone to assess my vehicle and he confirmed it hadnt been in a crash yet they still paid the other "party" out... upon viewing forums they do this alot which i believe to be a scam going round...
I have now moved insurers Nash Warren (who will beat unicoms prices everytime) and had 5 years no claims bonus to which unicom have sent me a document stating this then my new insurer have contacted unicom to clarify this and unicom have stated i only have 1 year!!!
STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS AND TRADEWISE

Excellent customer service by Charlotte Ryan to assist with an adjustment to the policy. Not the cheapest but customer service and level of knowledge and professionalism as shown by Charlotte as a company representative is second to none, and this overcompensates. An asset to Unicom!

At the time they where mid price range insurance, I received excellent service from polite staff. I would recommend although I have not made a claim. It is then when you know how good your insurance is. Moved to a cheaper company that does not provide as good service but money to tight to mention otherwise I would still be with unicom.

Today was first time for me to receive service from Unicom Insurance Services, and I must say the level of satisfaction and happiness I received was .... simply.... IMMENSE ! The lady who served, (Lauren) , for my Traders policy today with Trade wise, was professional by having all answers in detail , if and when asked for, and was clear with any wordings etc. I may not have saved much financially BUT gained a lot more in level of cover and learned a few terms of the trade too. With the patience and manner of professionalism she demonstrated..... I'd say she may leave Bill Gates behind one day. My hat's off to you Lauren. Well done !

Signed up to my first trade policy today after 2 weeks or asking questions, amending quotes, updating certain scenario's etc, and Charlotte did it with smiles the whole way through. Moments of ignorance on my behalf, laughed off and patted on back and explanations provided. Fantastic service, lots of cover on the policy and plenty of time to provide all necessary info for the next stages.

Unicom alongside Tradewise are the most incompetent brokers I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with! They are off the scale ! Having myself been a claims executive for over 10 years their handlers lack of knowledge and total inability to listen or record facts or investigate indemnity has no boundaries. I cannot believe these high star reviews could be genuine! Deal with this company at your own fate!
