Retford Kitchens have just fitted a complete re vamp of our kitchen which included new worktops,sink, taps and doors, handles, pelmets , end panels, kick boards. The experience at the shop in choosing the style and colours, were very professional from the staff. We were kept fully up to date of the progress of delivery and fitting, which we appreciated. The fitters arrived on time and were professional and courteous and very efficient. The work was carried out to a very high standard and Ryan and Craig were a credit to their profession. We are extremely pleased with the finished kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone thinking of having their own kitchen done. Can i just start by saying wow, from the team in the shop through to two fitters, brilliant team and service. I have had some real cow boy experiences with services like this before and these guys have completely restored my faith. I'm so so happy with my kitchen, its fitting and floor, really thoughtful and patient team. The fitters in particular, great humour/ craftsman ship and patiences which I feel has really helped with messy job ( which lets face it kitchen are) big thank you guys, I would of be lost without you all, will be defo back and highly recommended.

Responding to Tim William's review. Mr williams loves the kitchen renovation we professionally Installed for him but Mr William's after checking that he would receive all items chosen and after job was finished decided to add an extractor which had not ordered or payed for but the owner offered one at cost as a gesture of good will and to also keep the £150 held back from fitting towards the cost to leave such a review full of untruthful accusations and he is a local business owner himself just to try to discredit a business that has tried its best to resolve the issue just out of spite!! Would like to recommend this company but no longer can having used their services once previously successfuly. This time in Sept 19 things have not gone well. The attitude of the owner despite an honest and non aggressive complaint is to attack and imply the client is a liar. I hope the attitude changes as we need local firms to succeed in Retford. Like a previous review on here we've now given up & will rectify with another company.

Had the worst experience ever! Ordered and paid for worktops etc, first delay due to someome being on hoilday, second delay was on the day (half an hour before workmen due) for fitting, when I phoned shop to double check time only to be told they hadn't got my stuff in stock. Third delay, when the fitter did actually come out, he only cut and fitted one worktop because the other was damaged and I had to wait a week for a replacement. When worktops and new sink were finally fitted, the sink then leaked several times and I had to call the fitter out twice, third time I called a real plumber! We were advised to buy upstands to cover 1.5cm gap near back of sink and when purchasing i discussed with lady in shop exactly the size I wanted the stands to be cut down to. I called the shop to arrange a time to come measure and fit stands, i was told the fitter would call me back. I waited 2 days then called again and arrange for the fitted to come that day at lunch to measure, he told me he forgotten to call previously because he was too busy...!!! I then had to call the shop straight back to rearrange for later time that day which the lady told me was no problem and he would come after 4.30pm. I waited until 5.30pm and he never showed. I complained to a another man the following day and the fitter came out that morning and spoke to my husband....he actually lied to my husband. He told him I had phoned the shop and completely cancelled the appointment! So that is why he never came out! While I was at work the fitter came and fitted the stands, I came home to discover the upstands were infact 10cm wide (I had asked for them to be cut down to just cover the gap as we have tiles on the wall and it would look silly) all the way round the worktops, they weren't sealed with silicone and the edges of the upstands left bear which he told my husband we had to paint, he also told my husband the glue had gone off and we'd have to wait a few more days for it to be finished! The following morning the upstands actually fell off/came away from the tiles. I'd had enough by this time, so I phoned and left a voicemail telling them not to come back. I would get someone else to sort the mess out. I can't recall everything but we experiencd alot of other issues too such as with fitting the bottle rack and kickboard and damage to my own property (cupboard and patio box where he'd scraped worktop against cupboard and the box looks like he used it to lean and do work on) From experience i wouldn't use them again.
