My 18-year-old son thought it would be a good idea to drive into the mountains on a warm evening in March. He drove up Little Bear Road to NF-980 and got quite a ways before getting stuck in the soft, deep snow. I was unable to pull the car out with my SUV the next day, so I sucked it up and started calling towing services. Two other towing companies wouldn't even go up Little Bear Road. One of them referred me to Best Rate Towing. Liz was efficient and courteous over the phone and via text message. The driver, Luke, was friendly, professional, and efficient. He knew exactly what he was doing, and wasn't even rattled when we encountered another stranded vehicle partially blocking the path to ours. Best Rate's "mountain recovery vehicle" (an old Toyota pickup) isn't much to look at, but it and Luke got the job done, and I escaped with the minimum two-hour service fee. Hopefully, my son has learned his lesson, but if he hasn't, I know who to call if this happens again.

I've had to call Best Rate a few times recently and was happy with the service. They were there in the time frame the dispatcher said they would be or sooner, the driver were courteous and helpful. I would call them again if I ever need a tow or jump start.

Best rate towing and repair.. I had an engine installed in my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee unlimited the mechanic who is not ase-certified did a lot of damage to the electrical system air conditioning door panel... They refuse to fix this after contacting them several times. BJ the owner stated that he will fix it charge for what they damaged and then said they will not release the vehicle unless they get paid for additional labor

After AAA was unable to find out where their "en route" truck was for 3 hours we called Best Rate. Best Rate picked up right away even though it was midnight, and the gal who answered was very friendly and helpful. Phil showed up within an hour (we were 40 miles from town) and got us loaded up and on the way quickly. Phil did a great job and was very friendly, I would reccomend Best Rate to anybody looking for a tow or other service!

I got stuck in the Spanish peaks I called every tow company and this tow company has the best rates and were the only ones who answered the phone I am very appreciative of the dispatcher and the driver.. he was very respectful, and a hard-working man, I would recommend this tow service over other in the area . Our 2000 GMC Savana broke down while on a road trip. No mechanics in town were able to see us for at least two weeks but Jay was able to get us in right away and have our van completely fixed within 24 hours! This guy knows his stuff and won’t overcharge you. Would definitely recommend!

Phil was very friendly, personable, and professional as he loaded up our Murano to take to our mechanic. He demonstrated empathy in light of our situation (one of our teen-aged daughters had mistakenly filled the vehicle with diesel instead of unleaded) and was genuinely sad for what happened. Good guy, good service.

My car broke down on the way to work on a Friday and I called them for towing and repair. The tow arrived soon after I called and my car was done by Tuesday. Staff was all super friendly and helpful. The guy at the front desk, I didn't catch his name unfortunately, was great (friendly and very funny)! I will definitely be using them for any future repairs.

I had gotten a flat tire on my motorcycle in Yellowstone national park. I was towed to the boarder of the park then was picked up by Best Rate, they were prompt and the utmost professionals. They got me to the shop for the repair I needed and back on my way.

Brilliant. Quick, compassionate. I didn't get the girls name on the phone but she worked quickly and didn't mind that I was a bit upset about what had happened. Then Andrew came and saved me- so quickly and efficiently- only to find out he'd only been there 3 weeks! Such a nice, personable guy. Got me into my parking spot in my lot in my apartment- no small task-too. Just world class all the way around.

My son had an accident and Best Rate was recommended. No mention of price was given at the site when the car was recovered. A call was made to pay the bill and it was twice the expected amount. When asked about the cost a list was given for charges. One included setting out road signs to make others aware of the incident then there were fees for hook up, using shackles and other "line items" thanks for taking advantage of him in a tense situation. Nickle and diming someone in this situation is BS. Really a charge for putting out road signs? Will not recommend.

Using my insurance road side assiatnce for a tire change due to our Jack broke they dispatched this company when calling for an eta the customer service lady was polite and understanding. The repair man was not only prompt but arrived 20 mins early allowing my husband to get to work quicker then expected
He was polite and called to let us know he was on his way and called agian just to confirm location.

I was reareneded by a Sheriff's Deputy on Thursday. The owner of Best Rate Towing was the calm in the storm at 9pm after I was released from the ER. He drove my car to my home to drop it off the next day because he knew I had no way of getting it.
To me that is going above and beyond!

I'm not on this website to cause anyone problems, but something's got to be said about the service they're giving. The person who picked up my car on Tuesday was not a very nice guy. He was in a big hurry and didn't seem to care about my wife and I. And, I guess, overall, the experience—even with the phone call, was not very good. The person who answered the phone was gruff and impatient, asking questions that I just didn't have answers for. I don't know where my spare tire is, or my tire tools, that's why I have roadside assistance. Also, my wife was not feeling very well, and I had to tend to her while trying to get a tow truck to tow our car to the shop. So, I was a little distracted. When I told the person on the phone that I wasn't sure where we were because of the snow, my comment was met with frustration. All I'm saying is that, if you're talking to someone who's a Veteran of the United States Military, you should use a little respect. So, if this will help other people avoid making the same choice I made, I guess it's a good decision to leave a comment on this website.

Best mechanic I have ever had!!! They installed a rear axel on my 95 f250 powerstroke from AF&T auto. For what ever reason, my truck kept blowing the rear axel seals on both sides after the install. They stood by their work and replaced the seals until the problem was solved, and never charged me for the extra work or time. If you need any work done on any vehicle, gas or diesel, Best Rate Towing is the place to go!.
P.S. I am very picky and apprehensive on who works on my truck, these guys have earned my trust and superseded my expectations!

After a massive error with another service company in town, Best Rate went above and beyond to accomodate us on short notice. Even though they usually don't do on-site oil changes they came out to help us during our event as we could not leave our event site. Weslie did a fantastic job and I am pleased with the quality of work. A huge thanks to Best Rate for being our superheroes today! Absolutely amazing service. A friend and I both slid off a forest service road into some deep powder in the drainage. We were ripped off by a different company that wasn't even able to get to the trucks to attempt to get them out, but still charged us an outrageous amount.
PJ and Joel from Best Rate came out the next day with the right tools for the job and had both trucks back on the main road within two hours. They were extremely helpful, had lots of useful advice, and on top of everything charged us a third of what the company the day before charged.

This is a great service company. Tim in particular was extremely helpful. He towed our truck really early in the morning after a crash and then he went out of his way to let us retrieve our items from the truck the next day. New Years Eve; My family and I were traveling through Belgrade, headed home, when our vehicle started having issues that were going to prevent us from getting home that night. Every other place we called in Belgrade or Bozeman was either closing early or was going to charge us “holiday” prices. I’m not complaining about them, in anyway - they’ve got to do what they’ve got to do. The mechanic at Best Rate went above and beyond though. He was incredibly kind, amazingly efficient, put us on the top of his to do list and got us in and out in a matter of 45 minutes. Our vehicle didn’t give us another issue whatsoever, and you truly had the best rate. Thank you, so very much.

I pulled in a little before closing time with a ‘power issue’ on my Motorhome. Tom listened to my issue and asked if I wanted them to check it out. I know he was ready to leave work but graciously changed his clothes and washed up so he wouldn’t get the MH dirty. They found a P code that needed to be checked out. Although they weren’t able to look further right then, Jay offered for me to stay in the yard and they would check in the morning. He hooked me up to electric and I was set. The next morning they did some more tests. The rates were reasonable and Jay made sure I had his card to call if I ran into any issues. I am a single woman traveling in my MH. These guys can easily rip me off because I don’t really know what is needed. Jay told me he didn’t want to do anymore than was necessary. I highly recommend Best Rate Towing and Repair. 7/10/19

These guys are awesome!! I was stuck on Bremmer Creek Road today and they located me in less than an hour. They got my truck out quickly. They were super nice and professional. The best part was they guided me out of the bad road and told me they would help me out if I got stuck again. Their customer service is awesome. I would strongly recommend their service!
