I experienced a drivetrain problem last night but I need to use my car this afternoon so I was only shooting for a hope to see if the problem can be solved this morning. Zac and his colleague have been superbly helpful, friendly and the service is fast! From diagnosing what the problem was to get everything sorted, it was just about an hour! I can't recommend them more! Thank you very much! (They have a lovely dog there as well :D)

I'm pretty handy with cars and able to carry out most jobs, from clutch changes to identifying and fixing electrical gremlins. However I don't always have the time, and sometimes I get stuck. Whenever I'm either stuck for time or stuck for ideas on how to fix one of the family cars, I use these guys. Knowledgeable, professional and reasonably-priced; this is my go-to garage for sorting any issues. I've used them a few times now and never had any problems with the work carried out, which has always been performed in a timely manner and to a high standard with great attention to detail. Awesome dog kicking around the premises most of the time too. Highly recommend.

Im pretty new to Nottingham but found DNA autocrat on google - saw the great reviews and decided to call. They were able to fit me in straight away and when I arrived they had a look at my car straight away.
The customer service is amazing - Zack the owner of the business is very friendly and sociable. He conversed with me whilst the car was being repaired and made half an hour fly by. The guy working on the car was professional and friendly; he walked me through the work he had done. Very reasonably priced too! I will definitely be getting my car serviced here when it's next due. Thank you!

Excellent and quick service! I called first thing in the morning to book in for a diagnostic test as the engine management light came on my Audi A1. They were able to see me that same day and within 5 minutes of me arriving the problem was sorted! 5 stars would definitely recommend and will use again. Thank you!

Excellent customer service - picked my car up and returned it back asap. Fixed my tyres, wheel alignment and loose exhaust all in the same day. Very accessible for updates via phone. Good value. One of the few garages open on a Saturday too. Really happy with the service here and will definitely be using again.

Got me out of a hole. Stayed open late so my car could be recovered then did a superb job replacing clutch and related parts inc gearbox cables ready for me to return 300miles home. Been to many garages around the country and this is up there in the top 2. Took thier business cards and recommended to friends around the area. If I lived nearer it would be my go to garage. You get more than you pay for and their prcing is upfornt and honest.

A great experience for me to give them my vehicle & now vehicles for the future, Like with any garage you have your doubts reservations etc etc?? That goes for everyone, Not these guys, They're so welcoming the best in the East midlands by far & that's not a understatement Zak i.e. Aqua Man????♂️ He knows what i mean lol, Just adding some humour & his team of avengers are Brillant at fixing cars, That have got problems, Full marks to every one at "DNA"

I am very pleased with the service I received. I had to leave my van in the garage for a few days and was offered a car to help me out so I didn't have to take any days off work.

Excellent experience with DNA. My car’s battery had died and called I DNA for a mobile repair they arrived on time and sorted my battery out efficiently. The mechanic was very friendly and clearly knew his stuff. The repair was inexpensive and they also sorted out the paperwork I needed for my car warranty. I will definitely go back in future for any of my car needs !

I travelled from London to collect a catback downpipe from Nottingham and thought I’ll get it fitted rang DNA told me to come through straight away and went out of their way to get a gasket that was missing and made sure everything was right before I left. Highly Recommended very friendly staff, you won’t be disappointed ????????????

By far the best garage I have been to. The guys accommodated all of my needs as I had quite a difficult schedule with work and the kids and they even lent me a car for a period! Would highly recommend DNA even if you're not in Nottingham. Will certainly be going back there from Leicester for any car related issues and will tell everyone I know to do the same.

I have used these guys since I moved to Nottingham about two and a half years ago. They have always been fantastic and I am so glad I found them. I have just had my exhaust fixed by them at a considerably lower price than quoted by Toyota. I usually deal with Zak who is always incredibly honest and helpful. I was in Nottingham staying with family and my cars steering suddenly came nearly impossible to turn and the battery light cane on..
It was by a word of mouth recommendation that I found DNA Autocare so rang them. It’s a big worry for me being a woman who knows zero about cars. Anyhow, I took the car in the next day. They said if I had any problems getting there, just to ring them. They sent me photos via What’s App while they were doing the work to explain what exactly the problems were. I gave the go ahead for the work and it was all fixed by the next day.
My little, old car now has many more miles in her thanks to them.
Definitely would recommend DNA Autocare to everyone.

Zak provided us with general service and MOT today. We had been worried about finding a reliable and competent mechanic as we are new in the area. Zak was prompt and very professional in his interactions with us and he went above and beyond the call of duty to service our car in record time, including picking it up and dropping it off at our house. Absolute legends all of them. My head gasket had gone, timing belt and water pump needed changing. I rang several garages who couldn't fix it due to it being a Mazda. Zack and his team went that extra mile to lend me a courtesy car as well. I have now find the perfect garage for the future. Thankyou guys

Amazing service, They booked me in straight away, I dropped my car off first thing in the morning. And it was ready by 12. When I went to pick the car up I was greeted by one gentleman who was working on another car and he quickly got someone to get my keys and take me to my car. Amazing guys, all lovely, I can see why it’s called “Good Guys Garage” Great price! Will definitely be recommending to my friends and will be going back in the future when needed!

5 stars simply isn't enough to rate how great these guys are. Have used Zak and Colin 3 times in the last couple of years for MOT's and urgent repairs. They are prompt, polite, genuinely supportive and overall really nice people.

My mini had the "Engine Management Light" showing as a fault. I took it to the Good Guys who quickly demonstrated to me that the engine was running smoothly and no error existed. They cancelled the error. Fantastic service and true professionalism from a great guy. Would not accept payment. What an absolute star. Thanks - would really recommend to all.

I can not recommend Zak and his Team enough like the other reviewers say 5 stars are definitely not enough and they are way more better then just “Good Guys”.
Zak has been sorting my car out since 2014 with repairs from speedometer, suspension, keyless door issue, battery, exhaust etc (nearly everything as I have an old car). He has done repairs on a few of my relative’s cars too and they have been really impressed. He is very knowledgeable as we all have different make cars and he has been able to repair all of them.
He has always come out taken my car sorted it out and dropped it off. I have never had any issues with any of the repairs he has done.
His team is willing to go to other locations and sort the car out (when I have broken down), they are very flexible and always have a positive attitude.
They are able to check the car the same day I call them and if its repairable there and then they will sort it or if it requires parts they will let me know the time it will take.
Zak will keep me updated on what’s going on and when the repairs will be completed, always quotes me the total price (very reasonable too) before any repairs are carried out.
I don’t trust anyone else doing repairs to my car and would only want Zak and his team to have a look at it as they definitely know what they are doing.
Keep up the excellent work. I would definitely recommend Good Guys Garage :o)

I took my Ford Fiesta in last week to the Good Guys Garage and after Zak and Charlie had a look at my car and took it for a test drive, they found the braking issue promptly and booked me in for the following week.
From start to finish, they were honest, no nonsense, genuine and polite mechanics who made sure to put the owner and the car at the heart of their spectacular, quick service.
In conclusion: Outstanding service, competitive prices and tremendous customer communication. Highly recommend and will definitely pursue their services again in future. You will not regret at all.

The exhaust came off my car last night and I was as worried it would need a whole new exhaust. I called a few places this morning and spoke to Zak who was do helpful. I sent him some photos and he assured me it only needed a new clamp which was a huge relief, I took it in on my lunch break and it was fitted there and then. Great service and very honest, other companies may well have said I needed a new exhaust and I would have paid it, even though it was not needed. Thanks Zak for your help, I would definitely recommend and I'll come back if I need anything else doing... Hopefully not soon in the nicest possible way!

They kept my car for a month! I used this garage because they did call outs and my car wouldn't start. They turned up on the Friday and said that they needed to take it in to "hook it up to a computer". The next day we hadn't heard anything so rang to ask what the computer had found and was told that it hadn't been looked at because the electrician wasn't in until the tuesday. Not knowing this was an outsource at extra cost, we waited until the Wednesday before ringing back for an update. At this point we were told that the ECU was broken and the outsourced person was trying to fix it. More than a week later, two weeks after they took my car, the electrician admitted defeat and said that we would need a new ECU which would have to be programmed by vauxhall. DNA rang me for the first time at this point and told me that they could order a secondhand ECU for £350 rather than the £900 that it would cost new. I asked them to order it but wasn't told until later on that the price they had given me was not fixed and they couldn't give me a true price until the part had been delivered and fitted which was a week later. Once fitted, they contacted vauxhall for an appointment which wasn't until a week after - it's fair to say that this last week of waiting was beyond the control of the garage and they did inform me of this wait, but the 3 weeks before that I was given no timeline at any point. Of the 5 phone calls that this garage gave me in the time they had my car, 3 of them were in the last week reminding me that I needed to go in to pay. The reason that I was waiting until the day before they moved my car was because I was uncomfortable with them, especially after they asked me to drop off my v5 and spare key which I said I would rather take directly to vauxhall if they needed to see them. The staff didn't seem to understand my frustration at the length of time and that they were doing work without checking I could actually afford it first. The same problem happened 2 weeks after getting my car back, I had it towed straight to vauxhall who fixed it the same day!
