Twice! They’ve are spectacular. We live in attached town homes. Water leaks started to appear on my living room ceiling right under my master bath. My neighbor had same problem and told me two different guys couldn’t figure it out so he installed a trap door in his ceiling! Goode came out - let me know they’d need to cut into to ceiling - I’d anticipated that but what he showed me - the decay and mess up there - ugh! they fixed it up and left it open to dry - said check that it stayed dry and if it didn’t he’d be back. No need. It dried as he said - I then had a plasterer come finish it. It’s been 6 months it’s dry and beautiful. Meanwhile I had another mess of leakage in my downstairs furnace room - I feared the worst and they sent someone right over. He found that the cleaning ladies had knocked the little PVC drain off the furnace when they stored their mops - so he put back on and said have a great day no charge. I cleaned up and it was all good. Love these guys and will have them come install a new kitchen faucet soon :)

Jean Paul, as always, did a magnificent job on my home remodeling project this week. He also found efficient solutions to everything that the drywall & painting company pointed out were issues and that needed to be fixed by a professional plumber. Jean Paul also did a wonderful job at installing the toilet, pedestal sink, and faucet in my new powder room. It looks amazing! He also is helpful with sharing his insight on the best way to care for these new items. I always learn so much when he is here. Plus, Jean Paul also has an amazing sense of humor! A big thank you to Jean Paul as I continue to remodel the first floor of my home! He and the rest of the Goode Plumbing team are excellent at finding solutions as my two-month renovation process progresses. Thanks to Jean Paul for a job well done. Who knew plumbing could be so much fun?!?

We had an issue with old iron pipes. They were prompt and efficient. Jonathan was great and him and his team had the work done quickly and efficiently. They even managed to change the pipes and install a new water heater without cutting the water off to the rest of the house. These guys are great!

We hired Goode Plumbing to fix a leak in one of our main pipes. While initially, I thought their price was high, their professionalism and hard work more than paid for itself! When you bring plumbers into a condo building, they often interact with a lot of different personalities (Board Members, Owners, etc) but Jonathan & Nick were very courteous. Even after the project ran longer than expected, we were still charged the quoted price and they thoroughly cleaned up before leaving (including moving furniture). As a HOA President, these extra services make my life immensely easier, so I'm very satisfied with the job. P.S. lifetime warranty on work too!

Goode has done a great job every time we've used them. Jonathan flushed our hot water tanks quickly and safely. He also recognized a defective shutoff valve that needed repaired but did not affect the flushing process. I highly recommend Goode Plumbing for all your plumbing projects.

We experienced the same issues 5 years apart and Goode Plumbing handled both times with accuracy and efficiently. Trevor came today and was knowledgeable, prompt, and fast at remedying the problem. Goode Plumbing will be my go to any time I need a plumber or need to recommend one.

Question the quote - will over charge! It’s best to call around and check what rates are for the work being done. The service went well and response from customer service and the technician was prompt and informative. However they over charged for the work being done (simple faucet cartridge replacement). The final charge/bill was grossly over market rates and extremely expensive. If I didn’t need the work done ASAP, Goode Plumbing would NOT have been my choice. Don’t let them take advantage of the situation via price.

Great experience with everyone I dealt with from Goode; Amanda was friendly, kind, and efficient when setting up the appointment, Jonathan and Ken were amazing in helping us get a stubborn clog undone and helping us with an unexpected gas leak and repaired it. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful in helping us navigate the ever evolving day. They have definitely earned themselves a lifelong customer with us as we will be using the for any other issues we experience as first time home buyers.

I reached out to Goode Plumbing based on a personal recommendation when there was a leak under my dishwasher. They came out on a Thursday and diagnosed the problem. They sent someone the following day to fix it, but later that evening it was leaking again. Goode sent someone out the next day (a Saturday) who told me that they had misdiagnosed the problem and that someone would contact me when the office opened on Monday about a refund. I got a call the following Monday afternoon trying to schedule another technician to come out with no mention of the mistake or a refund. It’s has now been almost 7 weeks of me reaching out to try to get a redund and resolution of this, but the lack of communication from Goode Plumbing has been staggering. I was told a few weeks ago I would be receiving a $500 refund (which I have not received to date) but the person I spoke with couldn’t tell me why they were keeping over $300 and said the manager (who had already reached out to several times with no response) would have to call me. It is no surprise, I didn’t hear from the manager and haven’t heard from anyone despite reaching out to follow-up. Honestly, if Goode Plumbing had followed-up (like their plumber said they would) I wouldn’t have anything negative to say. The plumbers that came out to my residence were wonderful, but I have never dealt with a company that demonstrates such disregard for communicating with customers following a mistake that they made.

prompt service of very high quality. multiple options were discussed during initial visit and there was no pressure for 'higher end' models. I needed a small water tank replaced, a small water tank was replaced.

Brian and Karly just left and we're so relieved! They explained what happened (burst valve from the cold!), how they fixed it, and how we will be able to prevent this from happening again! They also showed us what to do in spring when everything thaws. 100% satisfaction in this house. THANK YOU!!

I love how they send 2 people. The first one analyzes all if the issues and the second one does the work. Other places send only 1 person who cannot do both!

I don't usually leave Google reviews because I am a very busy person, but it's the least I can do to let everyone know what Goode Plumbing did. My parents are both seniors, and they had an emergency plumbing issue. I called two companies, and they rejected the service because of the bad weather. Good thing, Goode team was there to save the day! Thank you for being considerate and respectful to the people I love most.

Goode Plumbing Chicago Plumbers did a fantastic job upgrading toilets and plumbing in our bathrooms. He clearly explained the issues, talked through all the work necessary to resolve the problems we were having, and offered a range of options and prices. I would recommend both his and 4 Service Pro's services without reservation.

Installed new tankless water heater when previous one went out. Have a complex system with boiler, holding tank, recirculator, a twisted hive of pressure tanks and pumps, and in floor radiant heat system. Got multiple quotes from other companies. Went with Goode as they seemed to have a firm grasp of my complex system and I felt they were the only one that could handle it. Chris and Joseph were extremely professional and did a bang up job. Very happy with their work. Goode will have themslves a repeat customer.

I had a leaking water heater that was pretty old and needed replacement and an old home with a lot of old corroded pipes. Goode came out in the early afternoon and stayed way past 5 pm so that they could get the job done. They went above and beyond, tackling issues with our old plumbing, to make sure I had hot water that night. I will definitely use Goode Plumbing in the future.

My house was in shambles. Goode plumbing was considerate, professional, and clean. Lowden, who I highly recommend you request as your service provider, took extra steps to ensure everything was clean and informed me of everything that was happening. I had to have my entire drain/vent stack replaced from basement to roof. Lowden and Goode plumbing made it as least painful as possible. They will always have my business and I will always request Lowend as my service provider.

Everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Team was professional, courteous and thorough. Highly recommend.

Mike was great. We wanted to close an old grease trap in our basement, and another plumber made it sound like a huge job. Mike said Goode Plumbing could do it a better way for less money, and explained everything carefully. Then he accidently found a leak with our 30 year old water heater, and was able to offer us a great price for a replacement. No upselling, straightforward assessment of our problem, showed up on time. And then our neighbor saw his van and asked if Mike could look at a problem in her house, and he went right over when he was done with us. I wish we had called Goode first.

Drew was simply the best. I have not met a more genuine and hard working person. He worked so hard to save my toilet so that I wouldn't have to buy a whole new system. He definitely worked overtime and longer than any other person would have to fix our problem, but at the end of the day, he fixed it! I am so pleased. I HIGHLY recommend using Drew with Goode Plumbing, he's the best!

I've used Goode plumbing for a while, but this time I am sad to say that I have been disappointed with the service. Our plumber installed a new garbage disposal, and since the garbage disposal installation, the dishwasher has stopped working. When I called Goode about this, they told me that this must be a "coincidence" and something else must be wrong with the dishwasher, and they did not come back to take a look - instead, they asked me to call dishwasher repair. When the dishwasher tech arrived today, he found within 5 minutes that a water line behind the dishwasher was severely bent, blocking water coming into the dishwasher. Clearly, this was done by the plumber. Goode provides very high quality service overall in my experience, but this time they failed, and this cost me over $200 of extra cost to a dishwasher technician. Will not be using them again.

I’ve continued to have excellent experiences with Goode Plumbing. I’ve referred them to clients in the past and in this case they were scoping a sewer line for a new home purchase for my wife and I. At the end of the process you get a high-resolution video which is very helpful if there’s an issue. You want video that’s high resolution and concise in the event that there has to be something further negotiated during your home inspection in attorney review. Highly recommend their services.

Hired to install new garbage disposal & 2 bathroom faucets, and to check "health" of sump & ejector pumps. John did a thorough assessment of all areas & made additional recommendations due to age & state of pumps, some pipes & valves. John was very pleasant and professional to work with. He left all work areas cleaner than before the work was done. John is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done!

Drew did a great job! Very conscientious about the job, cleanliness and keeping us informed throughout the day on his progress. He replaced a shower cartridge, moved a pipe for a sink to another part of the mechanicals room and installed a water main shut off. The hardest part was installing the shut off valve. It had been removed and buried behind drywall, but Drew wouldn't give up until he found it. Thanks so much Drew!!

They came out to connect three compression fitting to tub faucet which I supplied the faucet. This would take max of hour. They quoted me $627.00, Ridiculous! keep in mind they supply zero supplies. I refused the offer but because they came out to house they charged me $60 for rip off quote.

My neighbors recommended Goode and I'm so glad they did. They were easy to deal with on the phone and Drew and Jacob, who came to do the work, were so nice and helpful. They did great work. Having never hired a plumber before now, I can't say how competitive they are price-wise, but it all felt very reasonable to me. HIghly recommended.

These guys are the best plumbers in the city hands down. They're always the first call I make when I'm having issues with a property. No BS and very easy to work with. Ive dealt with a lot of plumbers and contractors, and there is a reason I pick up the phone to get these guys in before anyone else. Shotout to Jean-Paul. Warning: long review...but worth reading for any homeowner - I strongly urge against hiring Goode Plumbing for any emergency services you are needing. My experience with them was awful and I believe they engage in unethical business practices. I hired them to investigate a reported leak in multi-family building I own while I was out of town. They quoted me a base price for emergency services (& said price would go up from there) and $60 service fee which they said would be deducted if I used their services. When the plumber arrived he cut a hole in the ceiling, confirmed the leak and went upstairs to the 2nd floor unit to find the source which was a faucet accidentally left on causing kitchen sink to overflow. He turned off the faucet & said he'd have to charge $300 to rod out the clogged pipe that caused the overflow. I declined saying I'd contact my insurance company since I would have to file a claim anyway. He quoted me $271- $60 service call fee ($211). I agreed. We hung up & I thought that was the end of it. Within 10 minutes I got a frantic call from my 1st floor tenant saying the plumber gave her a very different story: he told her she was in grave danger of imminent electrical fire due to 2 inches of standing water right above her head coming in contact w electrical wiring, there was black mold all throughout the wood supports where he cut the ceiling, etc. and she should leave immediately and I should contract with Goode's partner restoration company to clean up the aforementioned problems ASAP. I was shocked bc he hadn't told me ANY of this. I called the plumber‘s cell number immediately but he declined my call. I then called Goode's main number and to my surprise he picked up. I confronted him about what had happened. He said he couldn’t talk to me bc he was very busy and all he could do was recommend Goode’s mitigation company. Then he literally hung up on me. I called right back but no answer. I then, believing my home was in imminent danger of electrical fire, evacuated my tenant to an airbnb, asked my insurance provider to send an emergency mitigation crew out to my building IMMEDIATELY and got in my car and started driving back to Chicago from Pittsburgh at midnight fearing the worst based on what the plumber told my tenant. When I arrived home at 8am after driving all night, I was told by the emergency restoration company hired by my insurance company that there was no risk of fire, no black mold, and no standing water...! Of course there WAS water damage from the sink overflowing, but nothing that put anyone in “grave danger.” He said dubious plumbing companies sometimes exaggerate dangers in order to prey on panicked home owners & get them to hire the plumbing company's own restoration companies to do very expensive & sometimes unnecessary mitigation. I was livid!! Then on top of that I saw a charge on my credit card was $331 instead of $211! I contacted Goode immediately demanding answers. The customer service rep apologized & said she would fix the credit card charge and have someone contact me immediately about the false claims made by the plumber...that was 2 weeks ago & I still haven't heard from them or received a credit for the incorrect charge. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend using this duplicitous company!

I really consider myself as a handyman, but I knew I can't get all things right especially when it comes to my plumbing system. Until recently, something went wrong with my sink, and I phoned Goode for help. they came quickly and saved the day.

John L and Jose M went above and beyond what I hoped for. They took the time to look behind a hard-to-access bathroom wall, take pictures and carefully explain our plumbing problem, all while maintaining a social distance. When I realized the job was going to be expensive and require wall and tile work, John even offered to talk to a contractor he knew and let me know if he could look at our situation. We have used Goode Plumbing many times and consider them to be the best.plumbers for old house issues - we will use them again.

Chris and Joe cleaned up a major mess after a basement remodeling job. They secured piping properly and covered up a hole in the floor, which had allow sewer smell to seep through; the smell was awful in the basement and up to the Kitchen. We are very happy with their professionalism, quality of their workmanship and their cleanup. They took the time to cover all flooring with their own set of rugs. If I had not seen all the equipment they had brought into the house and the amount of work they did, I would not have believed they had even been there. They gave us an estimate and description of the project and they delivered.

Great experience from start to finish. The communication and honesty of this company is outstanding. Tiffany at their front office is a true professional and to the technician Trevor and his coworker kept me informed in every step of the repair and who did a great job on the repair. This company has won my loyalty to them and I’ll for sure spread the word to family and friends.

We needed to update our commodes they both were 30 and 20 years old respectively you pay for what you get they are expensive but you know it’s quality work and they stand behind their work with a great warranty On time and in and out and cleaned up after themselves I will hire them again when the need arises

Very happy with the service provided by Goode Plumbing. For months we hot water coming from all of our cold water taps and hot water even filled our toilet. After replacing our hot water heater pump did not fix our problem (though the pump needed to be replaced badly), Chris and Joe from Goode investigated our shower to find a significant leak. This created a loop of hot water throughout the condo, giving us hot water any time we flushed or turned on the cold water. It took a while and a couple of service calls to figure out where the problem was coming from, but once the problem was located, it was fixed efficiently and cleanly. Couldn’t be happier to finally have this problem (which other plumber could not figure out) fixed. All Goode employees I dealt with on the phone and in my home were very friendly, professional and patient in answering my many questions. Pricing was fair as well.

On time and very professional. After the job was done quicker than anticipated I notes that it's because Drew is highly efficient at what he does. Will definitely keep Goode plumbing on our contact list for future jobs in our house.
