I only used The Motor Company a few times, I think they are super professional, helpful and friendly staff at reception.
One experience - my Mini’s boot had problem opening, the mechanic had a look & showed me I could use the remote control to open the boot. He said he could fix it when remote stopped opening it. It’s been working for 2 more years. He didn’t charge me at all.
I recommended my boyfriend and other friends to use it, and everyone is happy with them.

I booked in my Range Rover Evoque this week to have my wheels resprayed gloss black along with the front and back bumpers and new badges. 2 days later I received a call to say the car is ready. WOW!! On arriving at the garage the level of workmanship and detail took my breath away. It was like looking at a new car! Professional, friendly and efficient service I strongly recommend.

This is an amazing and rare garage where from the first point of entry into the reception area the customers are delt with by welcoming faces who are always professional and able to put the customer at ease and are understanding of the customers concerns answering questions with respect and patience.
I have on many occasions been so appreciative especially to Bob and Pete for their brilliant advice and knowledge when helping me with various different issues ive arrived with over the years with my cars.
Any repairs have always been of a high standard and nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff to all customers.
I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else and would recommend all car owners looking for a decent garage that isnt just out to take their money but deliver a fair price for a great job and trust your getting a service you can trust.

They were brutally honest enough to not be self satisfied with the first attempt at a complex T5 commercial bumpers and trims to smooth colour matching spray.
Final result though is fantastic, looks flawless and feels like glass.
An absolute transformation, over the moon : )
I knew of their work and great reputation, this was justified by the bucket loads.

Fantastic service from The Motor Company. We had sold a vehicle to a customer. of which had a slight oil leak from sump plug, after we had serviced. This was noticed once the vehicle was hot by the customer. With the customer living a distance away, we tried to find a local garage. After putting a post on facebook, this company were highly recommended, i rang and booked an appointment for our customer, straight in no messing, the sump plug needed nipping up. Highly recommend. First class service

I've been using this garage for over seven years now and I highly recommend them. I know nothing about cars but I'm always reassured by the service, professionalism and helpfulness of all the staff here. They really know their stuff. I've also bought 2 cars from Aidis and been incredibly happy with them. He's very honest with you and isn't pushy. Again, he really knows his stuff and the service is great. I'd highly recommend them all. The reception staff are always really helpful, they get back to you quickly and the waiting area is clean and tidy. All in all, it's everything you need in a garage.

Mum's old car needed MOT, convinced some less scrupulous larger dealers need profits topping up so non issues blown out of proportion (here comes an old lady !!!), years of old advisories had puzzled me before (appearing one year then disappearing without any work being undertaken), looked at google reviews for these, looks good, car in for MOT after i checked out issues - passed with no advisories.
Think most agree, once this happens, you trust them, I will use these again

I urgently needed an MOT as I forgot about my wife’s car running it out. Rung my regular place but they were fully booked. I then had to search for another station close to my house. Found this place, they booked me in straight away, job done. Polite and fast people. I’d only had time to walk 5 minutes to the Tesco Express for a morning coffee and half an hour later my (while you wait) MOT was done. I’d really think about making this place my regular one. Thank you, guys!

I have used this garage a few times over the years. They have always been courteous, on time and professional.
This is how they have managed to get such high ratings and they have had many referrals from me as I work around the corner for a big firm.
Recently I took my old Ford Focus for an MOT (as I do there every year)
The car is not new but rarely has caused a problem.
TMC quoted £300 to get ti through which was probably more than some of their competitors, but I was happy to pay this because of the previous service and I am believer in you get what you pay for.
When I collected my car I noticed that it shook at 60mph and that there was an oil leak.
As we had then gone into lockdown, I did not return to TMC for a while but when I did, I asked them to look at the leak and the new tyre they fitted.
Their response was that the tyre was fine, and the leak was from a rotten oil filter and something about a shock absorber that they could fix all this for £200.
Not happy with that diagnoses, I took the car away.
Today I went to a nearby garage and asked if they could balance my new(ish) tyre and not to my surprise , it was way out, There was no evidence that TMC had balanced it at all.
I am aware that even the best companies can make mistakes, and I believe they did in this case, but for them to look at it a second time and still say that it was fine, is dishonest.
I have not looked at the leak issue yet but would not be surprised to find it is something else.
This garage has gone from being one of the best to being guilty of doing the one thing customers hate. This is shame.
My lesson in this is that when a problem occurs, notify the company immediately, and if not resolved, escalate. The Covid lockdown has meant that there have been big gaps to resolve this.
Their lesson should be to admit when they have not met their standards and resolve immediately.

My car had a knocking sound coming from the front. They said its probably the "front suspension" which they replaced for £209 only for the problem get worse! They then said its the shock absorbers which they would be happy to replace for over £600. In the meantime my regular car repair shop opened and I took it there. All they did was literally tighten a screw at the bottom of the car and the knocking disappeared! All I can say is thatI am glad I didnt take my car back to the motor company to pay more money only for my issue NOT to be resolved again.

This will be the place I bring my car from now on. Nice friendly reception staff unlike other places I've been in the past, nice clean waiting area with a comfy sofa. And best of all a reasonable price for the MOT. Have to add I've waited in dirty freezing cold waiting areas over the years & spoken with some miserable reception staff so coming here was a much nicer experience. ????

Always use this garage for our mot and any issues with our car. A couple of days ago I called them because my car wouldn't start, and they sent two men round within the hour to look and ultimately fix it. I was over the moon with the service from the girls at reception, and especially with the mechanics who fixed the problem within minutes and did it with a smile! Cannot recommend enough!

I have tried many car garages in Leicester but was never fully satisfied with their customer service including Halfords, Qwik Fit, Formula one etc. They are too busy to listen to the customer. If something goes wrong just keep running after them. No one cares. But this place The Motor Company is completely different. You will get a warm welcome at the reception and an excellent customer service throughout. They listen to you and care about you as their customer. Besides that all under one roof including car service, MOT, repairs, denting, painting and even tyres. From now onwards I will take both of my cars there and have no desire left to try other places. Excellent service was taken here via rac breakdown recovery, rac explained the issue with my car, I was given a courtesy car at short notice, the work on my car was egr valve and new battery, all work was done in 4 hours back on the road in time to pick up my kids from school, must say excellent service and would recommend and I'm considering making them my regular garage instead of my normal one,
