Great bunch of guys, had a problem with the car on Monday, took it down they had a look at it told me what was wrong with it, I also knew it came up on the mot as advisories for the bushes and bearings on the rear axle, didn't charge me for looking at the car on Monday, booked the car in on the Friday, was a very reasonable price, can't argue with the work that's been done on the car, they come highly recommended by me, went there for the mot and servicing of the car in 2019,and will definitely continue to go to the garage

Excellent service as always. Everyone is always friendly and helpful; as a woman, I have often, in the past, found it intimidating taking my car to a garage! Well, I can honestly say that I feel totally comfortable here; everyone is so welcoming and the best part is that they only do the work that is needed, which in my book makes them totally trustworthy. I have been using then for the past 4 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

They Fitted a part to my vehicle and didnt fit it propley there was diesel all over the engine I lost half a tank and it made it dangerous there was diesel all over my truck and probably the road, then they locked me out of it and I had to sort it out my self and they didnt offer to pay anything towards it lost 3 days work all together (((BEWARE))) trust me I wont be going back here....

My wife & I have used this garage for 4 years. Excellent service & friendly, efficient & very knowledgable staff. Have dealt with Steve & especially Liam recently who has done work on my car & it has now very reliable. My car is over 16 years old, so needs good TLC & Liam has always been very conscientious, trustworthy, courteous. They just won't rip you off as all prices are explained up front, & don’t mess you about. My wife Liz is also very confident in their work too as things are explained fully to her so she knows more than me now about everything! They have never let us down & we can’t recommend them highly enough. We wouldn’t take our 2 cars anywhere else now - it's as simple as that. Thank you so much for all your work Greenwoods. took my car here for an ABS module replacement because I thought this garage was trustworthy but they give me a call to say they have broke my electric window which was working fine before I took my car here I was fuming to find this out when I arrived to get my car back now I'm having to fix something on my car which was working perfectly fine before there mechanics are inexperienced and ended up doing it myself and I'm only a DIY self taught mechanic

This garage can't do enough for customers. My car being 14 years old has made me a bit of a regular here and they've been brilliant. Some work I have had done has been costly but that was not down to the garage but the actual work that was required. They've been helpful, and I value their advice. On a couple of occasions they've advised me to what I can reasonably repair myself.
Highly recommended to anyone who wants to find a decent price for quality work with a team of good honest mechanics.
Can't fault them.
My 14 y/o fiesta had a new exhaust fitted with fixings which came in under £100, after I expected to ball park at £250. MOT was recently £60 (just needed some bulbs).

Brilliant garage. I've been using them for about 2 years after moving to the area. I've had 2 MOTs, servicing and repairs. Ian and his team are always really helpful and their charges are very reasonable. I've just had a wheel bearing replacement on my Nissan and was very pleased indeed with the price and the customer service. Would highly recommend.

Only in Huddersfield for one week and needed a garage in a hurry. Rang 8am in the Morning and I went in 10mis later. They saw me straight away, explained and showed the problem to me. They fixed it straight away and chatted all the way through with a bargain of a price. Really friendly place :)

Car wouldn't start, late for work and stressing. Luckily these guys are next door to where I work. Dropped the car in at half past 9 and it was repaired by lunchtime. Price was more reasonable than other local garages I've used. Great service.

I have used Greenwoods for nearly 15 years. My business based on the outskirts of Huddersfield has multiple cars/vans and I can always rely on this garage to provide a great service at a competitive price.
Many times have a needed last minute works doing to vans or an MOT in short notice and Ian has managed to get it done for me in time. Even dropping my wife off at work on a morning when she took the car in for a repair.
I always recommend them to my friends and family as they are a trustworthy, local and established outfit.

I've used Greenwoods for a number of years now, and have never had an issue. Servicing and MOT work itemised and much more reasonable than many other places, plus convenience for my workplace to drop the car off.
In response to the comments left by Mariusz, I suspect he's the "customer from hell" to most places - you can't expect a garage to drop everything for you, which is why you have to be prepared to book and wait.
I have no problems in using Greenwoods again

Told work was going to be £100 got them the part they needed , they started taking bits off it had car for 3 days, my husband rang to see when car would be ready only to be told it would be nearly double the price, because it had taken longer than expected, husband went to see Ian after hed finished work the price then went upto £210 and was told he could collect car the next day, so today hes picked it up with £210 in his wallet to pay, now the invoice says £220, spoke to Ian on phone only to be told pay up or dont get your mot certificate, hes had us completly over a barrell, but i will be getting advice regarding this

Rip Off Ian who told me i needed a new battery even though the AA checked my car and told me was starter motor.
I was told starter was ok you need a battery so i had a new one fitted picked up car day later broke down starter motor.
So in the end i bought a battery i didnt need and had starter done.
£87.00 Battery RIP OFF IAN.
I thought One Stop was bad & so are these guys.

we would just like to reply to the comment left by mariusz jarczak. in all the years we have been trading we have never come across a more difficult customer, running an expensive, un-economical vehicle a ford maverick 3 litre v 6 petrol on a small budget. he would expect our mechanics to down tools from the jobs they are working on, to work on his vehicle, all diagnosis pointed towards an EGR issue an when we put our case to the customer, he wanted to source his own parts from eBay (second hand) which we cannot guarantee. We wish mariusz all the best in the future on finding a garage that suits his needs.

Rude and inexperienced staff. They charged me around 200 quid in total for fixing EGR in my Ford and they... didn't fix it. The engine light came on an hour from leaving the garage. I went back and they wanted to charge me for diagnostics again! I said I would pay if it's not the same fault - they wouldn't listen. Pay or leave. I told them I would never return to their garage. The skinny guy said: 'Then don't!'.
I took my car to a different garage and it was EGR again. The fault was a sensor, not a valve or pipes. The Greenwoods Victoria guys checked and replaced everything but a faulty part.
As I said, I won't go there again.
