Mr Hikmet and his team are an example of good customer service. They are knowledgeable, helpful and keep a wide range often not available in other shop. What not to like!

Fantastic selection of beer and wine, particularly beer - they have an amazing selection of Bavarian beers, some of which I haven't seen anywhere else in the UK, so if you have a taste for Oktoberfest then head to the Wine Barrel. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable too, always ready with some advise.

Hi. I came from a country where the wine it is a culture.Moldova has a large variety of great wines . We love we appreciate. I had today a bottle of red dry. Great taste, great price. Unfortunately this it's not the best wine of Moldova. 5 stars for the shop and I hope soon they will have more on sale.

Have been a regular customer here for some time. Walked from Hove station especially to buy a Christmas gift, but when I asked to have the bottles wrapped in the tissue that was plainly on the counter for gift wrapping, I was met with an incredibly rude response by the member of staff. The man proceeded to rip a sheet of tissue in half which eventually barely covered either bottle and barked at me when I accidentally overpaid him. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and won’t make the trip again.
