Very impressive unique Oxfam store, a place where I donate quality books and vinyl records. Welcoming and friendly service

The local Oxfam bookshop sited amongst the ghost of ‘Literary’ Bloomsbury might well be overwhelmed with a burden of expectations. Not surprisingly, this is well stocked and catalogued over the spectrum of genres with a high incidence of more obscure and less obvious titles. Prices be reasonable, condition good, curation on point with unobtrusive but informed staff. Commendable

Found this place accidently while cycling. Walked in and I was happily surprised to see their selection and quality of books all at a reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back here. Added to my list of favourite places with secondhand books.

Probably Oxfam's premier location for books. The stock maybe secondhand but it is not second class. Like a regular bookshop but with much lower prices. There is also a rare book section.

I didn’t expect anything before visiting here honestly but was quite good. Definitely will visit again.

Well managed and Covid secure. Really interesting selection, including specialist and antiquarian books, at quite reasonable prices.

A very difficult work environment where the manager Eleanor plays favourites amongst staff. Many times I walked in on people talking about me behind my back, in the end I stopped going into work as it was so uncomftorble

Great second-hand bookshop with a wide variety (and a lot of the stuff is actually brand new)! Also, sometimes have advanced copies of books, and they put them out at half price on the day that they are published. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the stock (and great for a student budget!). Good shop for browsing. Sometimes have some cool artwork and ephemera out for sale.

I can never resist popping in whenever in the area. There's a good range of well-organized books and always something tempting to buy. The shop is especially strong on art and design, travel and vintage books although there's something for every taste.

A very 'book shop' Oxfam bookshop. Lots of non-fiction of all types and a decent number of older books, too. DVDs and vinyl are just in on the left hand side. Staff were helpful and knew the shop well. Worth a look for some unusual finds!

A hidden gem of a book shop! Lots of interesting titles, very helpful staff, and everything from text books to ephemera with a large selection of gently worn older collectible and antiquarian books, makes this shop well worth a visit. Also has a good selection of foreign language books, vinyl, CDs and DVDs.

Super helpful!!! Staff knows their stuff. I love books and this place is full of them and they're all so unique. Would give 10 stars.

Well stocked, well organised but expensive compared to outside London. Classical CD pricing is especially bizarre, £4 for a double disc set on DG's "Originals" label (great) but £14+ for some double disc sets on Hyperion? If they can sell for that price in a reasonable time I wish them all the luck in the world..

Seem to ave a high throughput of books but the mix and depth of books never seem to be as great as some of the more provincial branches. They also seem to be about £2 more than outside London on average and older stock.

Not the cheapest second hand book shop around but very well presented with a well stocked antique and collectables section. A good selection of vinyl.
