Excellent service - answer calls promptly, arrange time and location to suit you, all for a low price of £30 when most others charge upwards of £90.
They even took delayed payment at the location to which my vehicle was towed when I didn't have cash on me.
If you're looking for vehicle recovery in Derby, A1 Shaks is the only real option.

Broke down on Christmas eve of all days! Called these guys, answered first time, said he'd call me back in 5 minutes with a time and a price. Got the call, said they'd be an hour, and called me again to let me know they were 5 minutes away. These guys are friendly, helpful, know their stuff, and very reasonable. Will be saving them in my phone! Thank you gents!

Fantastic, efficient service. Came to retrieve us within 30 mins on a very traffic heavy Saturday in Derby. Got us home and on our driveway for a very good price. Even diagnosed our car's fault whilst we went to get cash to pay. Hope you don't need these guys but if you do, I would highly recommend! Thank you Shaks! ????????

Brilliant service, got me sorted within an half an hour of ringing even though they were book tight. Cheapest quote around but top quality and no messing around they turned up got car within mins and off they went no hassle at all. Would definitely recommend and if I ever need a recovery company again I wouldnt ring anywhere else.

My car had developed a fault and needed towing to a garage. It was a friday and expected to be waiting for any recovery service for hours as I had rang a few but a nearby garage suggested calling Shaks A1 and these guys were able to pick me up in 30 mins. Great guys and even suggested a good trustworthy garage in Derby as I had not long moved into the area, Powerhouse Engine Developments, who repaired my car much cheaper than the Toyota dealership who said that they did not know what the problem was!. Thanks and nuff respect :)
