I can’t say enough good things about Rick and Performance Towing! They arrived in under 30 minutes to jump my truck, and when it wouldn’t start the great guy who tried immediately diagnosed the problem—the starter—and towed it for a reasonable price. And they fixed it for a reasonable price. It was ready the next day! I highly recommend them for towing and service. And the folks there are really nice, professional people. Thank you!

My car broke down and I called Performance. My call was answered quickly and the tow truck arrived within 30 mins of my call. Steve Blodgett was my tow truck driver. He was very professional. He treated my car as his own and was very careful when putting it on the truck bed. The whole process took 1 hour from the time I called to the car drop off. Thank you Steve for the great service!

My car was recently towed by Performance Towing in Manchester, NH and I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received. I was parked in a lot that did not have any signs stating that cars will be towed, and when I got back to my car the tow truck was there to tow my car. I asked him if I could drive my car away and he said it would be $125 unless I gave him my number, then he would drop it down to $100. I said that I will not be giving him my number and that is very unprofessional as a business, and he then proceeded to call me a dumb blonde and numerous other names and raised the price to $165. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Honestly, without a doubt the worst people I have ever come across. They really don't care what the situation is, they literally just gouge you for your money. I've watched them take multiple vehicles out of my apartment complex tonight including my own vehicle I had to get into a screaming match with a driver. I stated had a temporary parking pass in my vehicle that must have fallen off the rear window. Since he couldn't see it, he was going to tow it anyways. They proceeded to tow the vehicle and it was my only means of transportation. I had a choice to either pay 125 dollars in CASH. Or pay 165 at the lot which btw is a completely ran down area. Needless to say I'm not really sure who carries 125 bucks in cash these days and has it just readily available so he towed my car and told me to find a friend he refused to wait for me to be brought up to the atm and demanded the cash upfront or I'd be towed. Definitely will be having a word with my apartment complex and hopefully they can switch to a different tow company. Horrible horrible company.

Ed is fantastic! My car broke down while I was in the area visiting family. Being from Maine I didn’t know if I could get a tow home. They were honest from the beginning. They gave me the best option to get the car looking original. I like that they suggested OEM parts and do not like aftermarket. I could not agree more. They took a look at my damage and gave me formal quote which the price could not be beat. Had my car back in a few days and could not be happier with the results. Looks brand new. They matched the paint perfectly!

I’m awaiting Corona test results for my young daughter. I live in MA but sent her to Dads while quarantined. I drove to NH the day before results are due to hopefully bring her home if negative. I parked in a lot next to dads house that has approx 60 spots, not one car in the lot, and all business around lot closed due to Corona. The next morning my car was gone! After walking lot only 2 small signs say parking permit which you can’t see unless you walk entire lot... Performance towing doesn’t even have a sign with their phone or name saying they are the tow company for that lot. Finally after calling police I get in touch with the manager Rick at Performance Towing and I explained all this and that I’ve been out of work with no pay for almost 2 months due to shutdown and unable to collect unemployment so no income at all! To that not only does he say he will not reduce the price he adds that if I don’t pick it up today he’s charging a daily storage fee. If I can’t find the money to get my car they will own it and sell it after a period of time! Are you kidding me, everyone in the world knows the country is shut down laid off not making
Money and on top of that my daughter most likely does have Corona. Where are your morals! The cities have waived all meters fees not ticketing and things like this due to these unprecedented events right now and you send your guys out to tow cars to make money off people whom are struggling to simply eat! I can’t even afford her medicine and now you tow me. Worst part is I explained this to Rick, to bad so sad is the end result! To Rick and performance towing I say, god doesn’t like immorality and I’m quite sure your struggling as a business right now, but ugliness just begets ugliness and kindness breeds kindness, clearly your in the ugly category and I sure don’t think too many doors will open for you with this kind of karma!

Paid $1400 for Mechanical Repairs that were not done properly within a week of picking up vechile car was undrivable again. A real mechanic has had to repair all work done by Performance and cost me double the money. I plan on making sure Performance takes care of the bill.

Called AAA and they sent Performance towing to pickup my Porsche 911 from Manchester Airport and transport to our Porsche mechanic in Stoughton MA. Scott and his helper came to the airport in a spotless flat bed truck. Both Scott and his helper were wearing clean uniforms and used TLC to load and unload my car. They tied down the car with care, and were aware of the expensive rims. In this world where knowbody can do anything right, it was so nice to have Performance on the job. Thank you team

STATE OF RHODE ISLAND, DIVISION OF PUBLIC UTILITIES AND CARRIERS, MOTOR CARRIERS SECTION Illegal / Unwarranted Predatory towing is a crime. 2009 Rhode Island Code Title 39 - CHAPTER 39-12.1 - Towing Storage Act § 39-12.1-12. Not only was the vehicle information on the towing receipt INCORRECT ranging from address to color of vehicle, but said vehicle was illegally towed from location directly under clear signage showing allowed parking for patronage at said establishment. Turns out there's been an awful lot of vehicles WHO ARE PATRONIZING A BUSINESS CALLED RED ARROW DINER being illegally towed. Upon Investigation: They're charging $125-165 it seems, when the cap appears to be $85 for non-consensual private property tows. Recovery rates only apply under certain conditions. This company requests CASH ONLY and are required per S. 6.f. to accept at least one other form of payment as well. Not to mention the fact that they are towing vehicles throughout THE CITY OF MANCHESTER absent of any valid reason. No, I am NOT a victim. I do not reside in Manchester, RI and I don't even reside near RI. I have never even been to RI. I do, however, have a friend who has and was a victim of this actionable towing company who lists their business address as 220 Beach Street (which appears to be a private residence) which makes me ponder the possibility that this person has simply obtained a tow truck and a CDL license and is towing random vehicles for a good time and income. Per the reviews and experiences listed all over the internet, it appears this may very well be the case. If so, then a class action is absolutely warranted in conjunction with a state audit and investigation into the propensity for these random towing incidents.

Predatory towing. This company towed our car because my wife paid the city meter instead of the lot meter. Very simple mistake. The towing company monitors the lot, they saw the wrong ticket and towed the car. There were two other people at the impound lot and they were picking up another car when we were leaving the lot we were towed from. The lot owner isn't calling them, they are basically metermaids that use a tow truck and then charge $165 per tow. Fom a money making stand point they're brilliant, just not sure how they sleep at night.

Would give 0 if it would let me. My Vehicle was towed from a parking lot and brought to performance towing. Upon arriving i ask the man waiting in his truck where I’d go to pick up my car. He asks for vehicle information etc. He first tells me the tow is $220 then drops it to 165. I run and grab cash (cash only). When i come back the gentlemen in the truck writes me a receipt. I notice an extra $40 charge on the receipt. I ask the driver about the extra $. I was told the $40 is an after hour charge. Okay sure, at this point i just want my car. As i ask more about the charge the gentleman gets abruptly louder and less friendly. I head to get in my car to leave. Knowing better, i visually inspect my car to find that the front bumper had been scraped against something when dragged onto the tow truck. Now I’m kinda aggravated. I proceed over to the driver and tell him about the damage. I ask the driver for his name and he refused to give me it. He responded with “i don’t have to give you my name, you can call performance towing”. I proceed to tell him that id like some sort of reference with who I’m dealing with. Now he starts getting extremely rude with me, telling me he wasn’t the one who towed my car. Alright fine but i still want his name. He proceeds to tell us that he’s about to make us walk and we can pick it up Monday. He proceeds to tell the lady with me to shut the f up. So i take my car and back out of their lot, upon backing out i take a picture of the drivers plate number since he didn’t give his name. The driver then proceeds to shout and yell at me as I’m driving away calling me retarded and saying he’s going to the call the police for driving drunk because i took his plate info. This is the most unprofessional business i have ever dealt with. I looked through these recent reviews and it appears to be a common occurrence. Im displeased with horrendous treatment from this company. AVOID THIS PLACE

Then I ask if I can leave my license and credit card so I can drive to the atm and the driver refused and told me “good luck walking up the street”. There was about 7 other cars there without tickets but unfortunately mine was the “newest” and had veteran plates. Clearly they are biased against disabled veterans. Then when asking for drivers/owners name I was told “we don’t give out names too bad” definitely very UNPROFESSIONAL. I will definitely be doing everything I can to spread the word about this business’s shady practices.

Refused to tow me after AAA assigned them to me to tow me home to MA. I was I initially told by AAA the truck would be here ~30 minutes after I called them. It is now 2 hours later that my fiancee and I have been sitting outside in the 90 F heat because these unprofessional f♡♡♡s wouldn't tow us as assigned.
Edit: to clarify, they actually cancelled on us when I called AAA to change the destination to the shop I wanted to take it to directly (I first asked to just take us home). The thing is, the shop is CLOSER than my home. WTF?

This company is extremely unprofessional. The driver not only threw the business card at me, but also threw my change at me as well as a pen when I was asked to sign a form. He then told me to "suck his f*cking d*ck" after I paid him and signed his form and told him to release my car.... I will be visiting tomorrow to make a formal complaint.

This company is unorganized and unprofessional. Here is what I dealt with:
- I was told help would arrive within 45 minutes and I had to wait 90 minutes. No one called to update me on their status or whereabouts.
- I called for service and was ensured that the price would be $165 despite it being outside of office hours. When the representative arrived he wouldn't accept anything other than cash, which was not relayed over the phone. I went to an ATM to get the required amount and returned.
- I handed the fee to the representative and he informed me that he didn't have the correct paperwork and wouldn't release my vehicle unless I paid an extra $30 (which I didn't have because I had only pulled out the $160 and scrounged for the $5 in ones and change).
- I called the original person that I spoke to and he said that I wouldn't be able to get my car unless I paid the additional money and it would cost more if I had to come back during office hours due to storage fees. Even though the present representative didn't have the correct paperwork and I was promised the original stated price.
- The on site representative smoked the entire time we were speaking.

This place is so awful and unprofessional. There's a metal piece hanging from my car after they towed it and a scratch on the side. They are ignorant and never around to get your car out and they wrongfully toe. I went to get assistance with getting my car out and was yelled at not to bother a sleeping worker sleeping in his truck. Why the hell are they sleeping on the job? They suck and should be reported and shut down

If I could give it zero stars I would. many things were stolen out of my car including sunglasses, aux cord, phone charger, a knife, and a wheel lock for my lug nuts. I also had a friend get his truck towed and they charged him an after hours fee when it was 5:15 pm. Would not recommend to anyone.

Wow. So I'm not the only one who strongly Hayes this place. Put a tire on wrong. Turns out to be flat. then left. WE called again. He showed up. We told him he put the tire on wrong. He disagreed and left. DIDN'T even tow or help at all even. THEN we called an ACTUAL triple A driver. And turns out, I was right. Triple A saved us, proformance towing abandon's their customers. Not a good job.

TERRIBLE!! They don't take credit cards, Demanded Cash payment, where rude & argumentative. Seems like they have a backdoor deal with the Mall of New Hampshire manager & security to illegally tow & extort people for cash payments, otherwise get your vehicle towed to their lot. The driver didn't even have change for a $10 bill. This company is the absolute worst tow company I've ever dealt with. Pathetic. Still have bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention I'm out $125 bucks.
