I booked my car in for a service and MOT for the first time with Adam. his politeness was immediately noticeable and refreshing. the service was carried out on time as promised, the car needed some extra work which Adam was honest about and gave me the option to defer as they weren't MOT failures. I decided to have Adam do the works which were again done promptly and professionally, the price was very reasonable and would have been far less than larger competitors.
after all replaced parts were shown to me and they were clearly in need of changing so i am confident Adam is honest as well as polite and professional.
I will definitely be going back, I don't see the need to go elsewhere, he is a one man band so its nice to support local people instead of massive companies for a change.

Been using Adam ever since I owned my own car 25 years ago. I wouldn't use anyone else as I completely trust that the work he says needs carrying out, really does need carrying out. Completely trustworthy and value for money, highly recommend.

I have found this to be an honest, strongly customer oriented, business which places service above profit. In my case, I was discouraged from authorising expensive repairs (which would have brought a tidy profit to the business), and to consider other options.Total charge for storing my vehicle, carrying out the necessary examination and recommending a more appropriate course of action = £ nil. Highly recommended.

I bought a used car (Ford Focus C-Max) which started playing up almost straight away, and I was recommended Adams Autocare as a good place to get the car checked over. I took my car to Adam, who looked it over and confirmed that there were a multitude of problems with the car, including the whole front being replaced after a crash, which was something that I was not made aware of. Adam advised me to return the car and get my money back, which is exactly what I did and luckily the garage knew they had no leg to stand on due to Adam's garage report so I received my refund. Adam was an honest and very very helpful man who not only helped me out at short notice, but also didn't charge me a penny in the process. I have to say a massive thank you, and to recommend him to anyone looking for a good mechanic in Welwyn Garden City! Whilst I currently live in London, I will be going back to Adam whenever I need something doing to my next car, thanks a lot!!!
