Heaven Sent Nursery

A man dropping off his child at Heaven Sent Nursery parked on neighbouring property without permission. When asked to please not park there, he threatened to smash my phone, tried to grab the phone, then tried to force entry to the building. Little consideration has been given to neighbours with regard to noise over the years. Children have thrown rocks at our windows and toys into our yard. I cannot see how the nursery's neighbours would be treated very poorly but the children well.

Continually breaches their licensing requirements by playing noisy amplified music outdoors, disturbing neighbours. Their license only permits amplified music to be played indoors with doors closed.

No love put into the decor. Poor ventilation. Poorly managed. Health and safety issues. Staff that lack knowledge in Health and safety. Afternoon children play in the dark with a lamp on for a few hours to accommodate the children that are asleep in the same room. Was not told this would be the case. I have never heard of such a practice in my life. Giving my child the illusion that it's night time when she's ready to learn and play is outrageous. Most of the staff started off smiling once introduction week was over so was the friendliness and outings. Day trips?? What day trips?? Reading books are scarce in the main area but have a book shelf by the nursery main entrance door far from where the children are. How does this encourage them to read. Rotten fish tank in reception area next to the book case. Needs cleaning. Poor fish.... The owner Ann Pierre is not bothered about the goings on at the nursery. Unresponsive. Removed my child due to health and safety issues as well as unprofessional and aggressive staff. Made to feel like you cannot raise concerns about the nursery Dismissive incompetent senior manager. Very rude and aggressive. Definently not a 'heaven sent' experience. The current manager needs to be replaced in favor of Sally (Deputy manager) nice lady and cares a lot about the nursery and the children. Was in an awkward position because of my complaints about senior management. Check it out yourself and if you do decide on this nursery SPEAK TO SALLY ABOUT EVERYTHING. Always read the OFSTED report for any nursery. Their report was not ready at the time of viewing. My child was fond of Jade (Childcare) always bubbly and upbeat with the children. Warm and caring. Glad it's over.
