Staff were extremely helpful. After trying 2 independent retailers no one got back to me. Carpetright had the carpets fitted within a couple of weeks.
Even when I realised there was no gripper down after taking up the old carpets it wasn’t a problem. The carpet fitters were also very helpful and did an excellent job. Would t go anywhere else in future.

Terrible service. They did not reply to numerous emails or phone messages, their website said they were open to 8pm on Tuesdays, we went down at 6pm and they were closed. This was prior to lockdown so that is no excuse. After using them for 20 years we will not bother using them again.

Originally I was very disappointed with service and quality of the mat I picked up. When my carpet arrived, lady phoned me to pick up my order in 2 days. I refused as I'm at work, she got funny and said "okay a week is fine for us to hold it".
I went to shop about 4 days later to pick up my carpet: All members of staff is hanging out by the back door (through their stock room I think), having a cigarette and a laugh. I sat down by the desks, staring at them for good couple of minutes. Another lovely staff member (young girl, I guess coming from her lunch break) came in and asked if I was okay. I told her I'm waiting to get served after they're finishing their smoke and she got one of them come in to serve me.
Rug was discoloured. I e-mailed details and photos to branch, heard back from them 20 days later. In the e-mail I requested delivery, but that request was ignored.
Today I called the shop and talked with lovely, professional lady (didn't catch her name) and she has resolved this situation in 3 minutes!
I originally gave 1 star, but lady on the phone just raised my review to 3 stars.

why on earth they dont inspect carpets before selling

Please do not use this store. Customer service is so awful, very unfriendly and not helpful at all. (Especially the manager named Bradley, disrespectful in person, rude on the phone and don't even bother with emails) Carpet was fitted months later, wrong colour was fitted and carpet blocked a cupboard and when I asked to be fixed they advised me to pay for it extra. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Not offered any help in store. Had to wait by the assistants desk for him to finish what he was doing, no ‘I’ll be with you shortly’. My fitting was arranged for three weeks away (not happy). Rung less than 2 days before the fitting to be told it hadn’t arrived. Expected mid March- no indication as to when the fitting would occur. I was never told that it wasn’t in stock when I ordered. Seriously thinking of cancelling the order.

Misleading information given and false promises. Poor quality fitting and overcharged and store manager is very rude and patronising. Wish I had never of used them you may as well just pay £3,000 for a headache as that’s ultimately what you will receive!

Purchased what I wanted from the shop a d the salesman was great. Don't remember being explained to about the fitting charge being separate. The fitter did a good job but then requested payment. Unaware of a payment bring required, wanted to clarify a payment for the fitting. Unfortunately I had an agressive phonecall from the 3rd party fitter. Which left me feeling aggitated, shop manager Bradley has taken the side of the fitter. So hence becareful of the after service, you may get treated like a 3rd class customer

Service in the store was fine but after a visit to measure up I have not been contacted and cannot get through on the phone. I was promised an email by the fitter measuring up but haven't received that and have left multiple telephone messages for the store for the past two days with no response. Appalling.

Nearly carpeted my whole house with carpet right. Good knowledgable staff! We finally ordered our hallway carpet which was out of stock and had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered however they called me after 5 days saying it was in their warehouse! My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because when it's busy you are hanging around for quite a while but that's no fault of the staff. They do acknowledge you. I will be back to do the bathroom and kitchen flooring soon! Thanks guys!

Well I’ve seen some bad reviews more so than good. However e have just had a 4bedroomed bungalow fully carpeted by this company. Initially when we visited the store we were allowed time to wander around before being approached to offer any help. Having chatted about our requirements a fitter was sent to our property to measure the areas required carpeting. This was undertaken efficiently and this included door treads where there would b seams etc.
We again visited the store and chose some samples and took them home and we did this on a number of occasions to ensure we were happy that our choice was correct fo our decor.
Personally we found the staff very efficient and helpful so we went ahead and ordered the carpet with the necessary extras. The manageress kept us involved on every step of the way regarding delivery etc. Finally the dreaded day arrived for the fitting, we knew we had to move thing from one room to the other and our stress levels were really high.
Well the job is now finished and we could not fault in anyway the fitting and the fitter. Who made the installation much easier by his attitude of nothings to much trouble.
All we can say is that the whole experience was undertaken in a thoroughly professional manner. So thank you so much carpetright. Money well spent

One of their fitters, Carl, has now fitted carpets to most of my house and he is a highly professional, most helpful and very trustworthy guy. This guy doesnt hang about, he gets on with the Job and he doesnt stop til its done. The quality of finish throughout my house is great, i am so pleased !!!! Many thanks Carl!!!
