Oh, such a wonderful square to sit and pass the time. Great to see most shops open, but it’ll be even better when the theatres re open. I don’t come to this area often but will be back when everything is open again to catch a show ????

The square was originally a gentrified residential area. Several major theatres were built in the 19th century, which were converted to cinemas towards the middle of the next. Leicester Square holds a number of nationally significant cinemas such as the Odeon Leicester Square which are often used for film premieres. The square has always had a park in its center.

Place needs a good trying by by the local government. Good for tourist, shopping and cinema just mind the pick pockets and low lifestyle.

This is one of my favourite spots in London and I often like to sit here with my coffee and observe the world around me. It’s just the simple pleasures in your day that makes your life worth living. The street entertainers here are extremely talented and always leave people around them stunned! ????

I love Leicester Square especially when it’s right next to Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden including near Trafalgar Square and Cambridge Circus in Central London. It’s one of my most favourite spots to visit at including Piccadilly Circus too. I had a few memories over there since I was very young. It feels like a very long time but I am definitely gonna come back here so often in the future when the time is right. I would 100 percent recommend to Leicester Square to anyone who hasn’t been here before. You do not want to miss out if you ever explore around Central London. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Giving this 5 stars and 10 out of 10.

It was during the Covid lockdown that my wife and I visited Leicester Square, during our exercise walk. It was very quiet compared to the usual hustle and bustle. We enjoyed seeing the statues of many famous fictional and nonfictional characters. We do however look forward to seeing and being in the hustle and bustle again.

One of my favorite go to spot in London. It's filled with positive vibes and has a large collection of bars, casino, restaurants and everyone can enjoy shopping here. Europe's biggest sweet shop, M&M's World is located here. Here you can sit and relax with your family or friends to enjoy some street performances. Loads of food places to cater your needs. Christmas time in Leicester square is even more hectic than the rest of the year with masses of people strolling and buying.

Leicester Square is located in London's West End. You can get there by getting off at the Leicester Square Underground. At Leicester Square you'll find many cinemas and theatres. You can buy cheap theatre tickets from the TKTS booth and if you have a yearning for fast food, then there's the Leicester Square McDonald's. Also in the area is M&M's World Candy Store and Chinatown is nearby.

You'll be able to find a number of attractions which surround the area from food places, cinemas and performers which either dance, sing or art so there's entertainment at every corner.

A good place at the heart of London that you can have lots of fun with your friends. You can find good bars and restaurants and other entertainments. There are a variety of different restaurants with different cuisines from all around the world. We tried fish and chips, and one another time steaks at Angus and we were satisfied. You can find many different fast foods like Burger King. There are also cinema and other entertainments facilities. There is a big M&M sweet shop which has different kind of M&M products, you will enjoy a lot to explore it, especially children. In front of it there is a Lego store which is always full of people. There is also China town which is good to walk through especially if you like Chinese food, we ourselves have not tried food there yet. It is easy to access by different subway stations and ofcourse different bus lines. From here you can easily walk to Trafalgar square and national gallery and then Thames river and passing Jubilee bridges to London eye and other famous touristic places or just walk through south bank area. It is about 15 to 20 minutes walk. Everytime you go here you can discover something new.

There are more hidden gems than meet the eye around here. Feel free to look around and I'm sure there will be something to delight you. There is always something down each side street. Please understand that currently it can be dangerous to travel but if it is a must, follow all precautions to help protect yourself, those you care for and others around you.

It's one of the most iconic and vibrant places to visit in London. It has been an entertainment zone for decades. That is filled with theatres, restaurants, bars, clubs and shops.

Usually a busy place and recognized as the center of the entertainment district of London. Renovated in 2011/12 it always has been surrounded by cinemas, theatres restaurants and is a pedestrian square that seems like a magnet for tourists.

The heart of the West End. Lots of glitz. Where many of the latest films have their big opening night. Famous stars, red carpet, and plenty of adoring fans. Loads of food and drink. The very lively Chinatown is but a few steps away. Named after a "square of houses" in the village of, Penshurst, Kent.

Buskers, the various faith groups rub shoulders with each other peddling their wares amongst the houses of mammon selling luxury and pleasure. There is always people here so it's great to sit back, relax and watch all the people go by. I always have time for a bit of Leicester Square relaxing.

Obviously slightly different under current conditions but in Summertime, where else can you sit in the sun and be watched by Harry Potter, Mr. Bean, Mary Poppins and a few others!

Fairly deserted now, Leicester Sq has become more of a thoroughfare rather than the place to go. Of course, covid 19 is largely responsible for its current state, with most of the food & entertainment places closed. The looming billboards stating 'we will be back' offering the promise of years gone by. But it's hard to ignore how long those very signs have been up; the building work of 'gentrification' that has blighted the one-time fun-time destination & the surrounding areas. The bare bones of a good place are still there, but if you are yearning for the fun Leicester Sq, you may be waiting for some time????????‍♀️ There is still the odd Leicester Sq quirk which take you by surprise such as the statues of Harry Potter & co???? I'm sure Leicester Sq will thrive again... It was once such a fun place to meet up, eat, watch, observe, listen, play. It will be what it once was, but for a new generation... And I cannot wait????

List of Statues: Laurel and Hardy in Liberty Bugs Bunny Gene Kelly in Singin’ In The Rain Mary Poppins Batman Mr. Bean Paddington Bear Wonder Woman This plase is very accessible and on walking distance from Piccadilly and Trafalgar Square and it is almost next to China town. It's amazing as it is on a daily basis: with it's crowds, historical location and connection to other welcome London areas. Ideal to chill after a parade or just as a space for people watching. Never seen it really empty and quiet-must come on the wrong times ;) My first time visiting their Christmas Market, but wow - so good!! Well organized. Guards check in place. Wonderful layout and well presented. Was worth the visit and will definitely will be back next year.

Loved it ! Were there at night. What an atmosphere! Street acrobats were good but asking for £20 notes! That wasn't happening. Shame the actual square was closed as wanted to see all the statues but never mind. Just means I have to return !!
