I had my engagement ring redesigned by Julian in November 2020 and I am absolutely delighted with it. I had a meeting with Julian about the design (masks and shields were worn) and I was sent a txt when it was ready. The girls on reception were lovely and helpful and when I asked to have the size slightly adjusted, it was done there and then with no extra charge. I would highly recommend Julian.

Stunningly designed, contemporary ring at a reasonable price. I decided to have a ring made for my 26 yr daughter as a special heirloom gift. Having emptied my jewellery box of it's old relics, I visited Julian whom had previously perfectly replicated a lost earring for me. He patiently went through gemstone cuts and sketched designs with me to ascertain exactly what I wanted. He was happy to utilise the stones I had mixed with some new ones -this naturally assisted with the cost. The result was simply gorgeous and my daughter was absolutely thrilled with it (and believe me she is picky)! A great result! Huge thanks Julian.

I was so very happy with the service and end result of the work carried out by Julian and his team - I couldn't find where to write a review but now have ! From the initial consultation, where I was carefully steered from over complicating to a shared vision of a beautifully designed pendant and earrings, to the incorporation of some existing diamonds to keep the cost down, I was very happy with the process, the cost and the products - I would recommend Julian without hesitation !! Julian has created a beautiful pendant for us using stones from an existing ring, it is stunning and completely bespoke with different sizes of chain...a new family heirloom. Superb service, I am so in love with this new piece of jewellery.

We went in on Saturday to get my new fiance's ring re-sized as it was too big. We got a fantastic service and they even agreed a lower price, fantastic! But, after my fiance wore the ring for a few days, it was still just ever so slightly loose - i think it was incorrectly sized a little, but it could have been out fault - fair enough! I phoned them on Saturday morning and told them the problem and was told 'Oh don't worry, bring it in and we can adjust it a little for you', i asked if there would be a charge, as would have been happy to pay a little but was told 'It will be free of charge if it's just going down by 1/2 a size' which it would be. My fiance took the ring in and all was well, it couldn't be done the same day like before which is fair enough so we waited till Monday. On Monday we got a call to confirm the price, which we were surprised as because we were told it was going to be free. From then on, despite my fiance questioning (not arguing) we were told that taking the ring down 1/2 size - 1/2 size!!!! - would actually cost MORE than we originally paid! When my fiance went to pick up the ring, she was greeted very rudely and treated like some sort of idiot - stating that 'it's not a simple job to resize a ring' - we understood that from the off and would have been happy to pay for it, if we were told an amount when i first phoned up! Other jewelers are cheaper and even closer to our home but we wanted a professional service so paid that bit more! But to then be treated the way my fiance was, i would not recommend at all. You cannot just promise things and just say oops, no sorry, you were told wrong.

I have had a number of pieces made by Julian and his team and have been very pleased with the results. They have also altered and redesigned a couple of rings for me that I wear regularly. I am happy to recommend them to my friends and to anyone else who appreciates excellent workmanship and a friendly personal service .

Julian made my wedding ring; my eternity ring; and a yearly anniversary pendant for the last 5 years. All of which were designed with my husband without my knowledge; and all of which I love and wear with pride. Julian and his team are amazing - they listen to what you want, they offer thoughtful advice, and the quality of their workmanship is second to none.

Did a FAB bespoke piece of silver work for me - just what I wanted. JSG made a round sliver glass fronted pendant approx2.5cm diameter to house a miniature watercolour painting. Very happy with the result.
