I emailed last night about a puncture in my tyre and got a next day appointment. Repair was done within a couple of hours and at a reasonable price. They were also COVID compliant with hand sanitiser available, masks worn and my keys were disinfected before being passed under the screen at the front desk.

Took my car there to have the brake pads replaced. I had asked whether they would be ok with me supplying parts and they agreed. Having inspected the brakes, they told me that I needed two new calipers as well (both front), so I took their advice and got the calipers replaced. Everything seemed to be fine.
Fast forward four months, and it's MOT time. I took it to them, and they tested and passed it, but with a notable advisory: "Front brakes imbalanced requirements just met. It would appear the braking system requires adjustment or repair."
I couldn't understand how this was possible; the entire braking system was new, with discs/pads supplied by me, calipers supplied and fitted (along with the discs/pads) by them, which felt perfectly fine to me. I asked what could cause this and they said they would need to take a look to understand, so I booked an appointment.
I wanted to get a second opinion, so consulted another garage who said they would kindly test the brakes in front of me to see what was going on. As promised, they performed the test under my gaze and I observed that not only were they passable, but well within tolerance.
I was shocked; what were BTE talking about? I emailed them to ask, sending an unedited video of the dashcam footage, but was told in essence that they couldn't remark on the video, and that they'd have to see it.
In conclusion, I can only assume one of two things happened - either the brakes were incorrectly fitted in the first place, or BTE had forgotten that they repaired the brakes and thought they'd be an easy target on the M.O.T. Either way, I won't be returning.

I had my MOT done for the second year in a row with BTE and I can’t fault them. I felt incredibly safe collecting my car from them in what felt like a very covid secure business. Drop off and collection was nice and easy and prompt. It’s nice knowing I have a local garage I can trust when I need work done on my car.

Very poor communication.
Updating: this isn't a fake review, your reply is proof of the fact that you know what I was talking about, about my quote request you emails and phone call. My surname is the same. My quote is not odd, most of my request are (or should be) included anyway in your service checks. About my car being in warranty: it is my choice if I want to go thorough warranty or pay for service - sometimes, a paid service is better than free of charge one. I said in my email: "please ignore the age if my car".
I was asking for a quote. You are assuming the repairs need to be done before even seeing the car. And, in case of any repairs needed, I never asked to be done overnight - that's absurd.
Also, you could have said simply: "we cannot do it". You didn't say it you are entering lockdown.
Your reply is proof of your reluctantly in communication.
Also, if my requests are "odd and unrealistic", why you guys did not told me you couldn't do it, instead you said you need my registration number before giving my quote, and you never said "it's unrealistic, we cannot do it?" That's odd.
I am very real, and my review is here to stay.
In closing in: if my review is being removed, I will publish same review on Facebook (all groups I'm on), Instagram and twitter. That will be a little note of reality for you. Nothing was, is and will be fake about it.

I was fortunate enough to win 4 new tyres and had them fitted at BTE. The welcome I received was warm and congratulatory -even had a free cup of coffee. The owner even took time out from his busy schedule of running a successful, fully equipped service & repair centre to chat about the tyres and how they are a great brand of choice on the drift and race scene. I had driven about 100mls at motorway speeds when I smelt a burning rubber smell - I had a flat tyre that had now wrecked the sidewall!
Phoned BTE - '' No problem come in we'll have a look'' - Turns out it was a 1 in a very high thousands valve failure that cost pence. The tyre was replaced free of charge and BTE could not have apologised more, even though it was beyond their control. This was the first time I had used BTE but they will definitely be high on my list when I need tyres again.

BTE. I think it stands for the experience I had with them; "Brilliant, Terrific, Easy". Well, maybe not but it perfectly sums up my time with them.
They were just an absolute pleasure to deal with and is one of the best garages I have ever taken my car to. Everything is clear and straightforward. They are flexible and I got handy text messages about updates on my vehicle. The reception was clean & organised, the staff well presented and kind. I'm genuinely glad I took my vehicle here and will always recommend in the future!

During a recent visit to BTE I was most impressed with the professionalism of the team.
One particular member of staff who stood out was Phil Parker.
Whilst working on my vehicle was extremely diligent. He was also very friendly and helpful.

Another brilliant service received, after my car broke down the AA kindly towed me to BTE Unannounced literally 5mins before they closed, they were so supportive and accommodating to me and kindly excepted my car. They kept me informed every step of the way with all the finds and expected costs, I honestly can not fault anything at all with this garage they are honest trustworthy and I would never trust taking my car to any other garage..
