I don't often write reviews, but I always read them, which is how I ended up employing London Auto Towing & Car Recovery Service services.
Sam was a consummate professional, he answered my query quickly on the phone, was able to quote me on the spot and communicated clearly ahead of coming to pick up my car.
He was on time, and did a great job, given the current situation it was good to see Sam using anti-bac wipes to ensure it was safe for him and then me to use the car.
I think it says a lot that his flatbed truck is clean and in very good condition, as was the winch he used - despite him telling me his truck was dirty as the car washes had been closed!
Overall, Sam's service was fantastic, I would not hesitate to recommend him, and if I need a similar service in the future, there is no doubt I'll use his services again.
He even backed my car all the way into Walton Audi's service garage - they can't tell me it's not in their garage now!!

Late on a Friday evening I had a flat battery in the van requiring not just a regular jump start, but getting in behind the seat. He went above and beyond, arrived extremely quickly to help me out. Got to the battery (vehicle was so dead we could not even unlock the bonnet) got it started then stayed to ensure the battery was charging.
Fantastic service, really helped me out of a bind. Would highly recommend - very good price and very professional!

Fantastic friendly service at a competitive price. I ran completely out of diesel; filled up with a petrol can but car still wouldn’t start and I thought I needed a tow to the nearest garage. Sam turned up at a prearranged time, prepared to tow. He offered to start the car and was successful in no time at all ????

Our ~20yrs old Lupo died near Richmond Green this Sunday afternoon. Tried to call a few other services, no response. Until we found Sam. He answered quickly, arranged an appointment later this afternoon. (We live nearby, and the car was parked properly, so not in a big rush) Sam arrived with his truck, and did some examinations. Surprisingly, he fixed our Lupo!! Amazing!!! Given the car was working fine at that moment, we decided to drive it home first and take it to service another day. As no garage was open on a Sunday afternoon.
Sam is a nice, genuine person who really tries to help you, rather than just finishing his job.
I hope you don’t need to use a recovery service, but when you need it, definitely go for Sam!

Great guy to deal with. I contacted him about a towing my car all the way down to north London to my mechanics, he advised to get it repaired around here to avoid extra cost. Not only that, he referred me to some mechanics in my new area here in Richmond and kept on follow up to see if I got it sorted which was really nice of him. Them I contacted them and got it resolved at a very reasonable cost. Very polite, helping and caring guy. I think his name is Sam.
Even though he didn’t do any job for me, you gained another customer if I ever need help with my car my man. Great service, Top guy. ????????????????????????????????????????

Sam was extremely helpful, he saved us a lot of money by putting us through to a specialist and saving us a long and expensive trip to the Subaru garage where we would have had to pay a lot for their services.
He was very diligent about getting to the root of our problem and really keen to save us from the huge fees we would have had to pay at the main garage.

Cannot speak highly enough of Sam. Came out to me right away and right on the time he predicted. Got the car going, gave it thorough checking and explained via process of elimination what the fault was... I learned quite a bit from him (he knows his stuff for sure!) He still took it to my local garage, where he informed them of the checks he'd done. He even told me how to get out a coupe of dents in my plastic bumper! And I loved his departing wishes, which was 'I hope that you don't need me again, but if you do...' BRILLIANT!!! And YES if I ever need recovery again, he's the man to call.

Sam showed up in 30 minutes as he promised over the phone. Very, very kind person. Diagnosed the problem on the spot, unfortunately it was the timing belt that snapped. Towed the car and after a week he called back to ask if everything is alright. Really kind honest man. Definitely would recommend!

5 stars doesn't do it justice!!
I broke down in France last year, within 5 mins of calling Sam (on a Sunday no less) he had booked a Ferry and was on the way to help me get home (South London). A true gent, the world is genuinely a better place with more folks like Sam in it. Arrived promptly, great knowledge, reasonably priced and built his own custom rig so truly knows what he's doing when it comes to auto-towing.
Not all heroes wear capes.....turns out some drive recovery!

I tried upon reading reviews here and didn’t regret choosing them. As it was my first time arranging my car to be towed, I didn’t know what to expect but Sam was very kind, helpful and efficient. I am now retired: After many years in the motor trade, and with much experience of recovery company’s, I can honestly tell you, this company are the best I’ve come across.
Having broke down on the motorway, I was quoted a very fast response time, and a very reasonable price, to collect me and my broken down vehicle.
Sam, the proprietor arrived 5 mins early. ( unheard of!)
Loaded my vehicle onto his truck in a flash ,and in a highly professional manner.
It was unloaded in the precise location, exactly as requested by me, having arrived at my nominated repair garage.
I travelled in the cab with Sam, and found his company delightful and entertaining.
