This is my first experience using a doggy day care service and Pet Sanctuary has exceeded all expectations since I first started using their services in October. From having an at-home sitter look after my new puppy when I had to go to work through to the regular stays with Vicky and her team, I have been thoroughly impressed with the service's professionalism, attentiveness, flexibility and care. As a first-time puppy parent, Vicky has been a great support and I've come to rely on her expertise and wisdom. I honestly couldn't wish for a better doggy day care experience.

Unprofessional and rude staff. Pet Sanctuary say your dog will be at daycare with other dogs, however, when asked for proof of this they refused, despite saying they had a video of my dog playing/socialising with others. The lady who collected my dog was never with any other dogs so I find this hard to believe - they could be kept in a cage all day for all I know. When I asked where they would be keeping the dogs they refused to give me an address which I found disconcerting, especially as my dog is only a small puppy. My dog was booked in for 5 days of daycare (something Pet Sanctuary very much pushed me to do as they said it would be important for them to "assess the dog" - I now I realise I was naive and this was just a sales tactic) After day 2, I wasn't comfortable with them keeping him for 8 hours with no proof he was with other dogs, so I politely asked to cancel the remaining days. Instead of reassuring me, they were very rude and charged me for the full 5 days claiming that they had paid to insure my dog for the full week so need the money (After doing research, I now know that other dog day care places in SW London allow you to cancel on the day! This insurance claim is likely not true) Finally, the communication from staff was appalling. When texting the sitter to ask about my dog I was told they are not allowed to have their phones whilst working with the dogs. Again, I find this hard to believe given the fact that they said they have videos/photos of my dog playing with the other dogs? How would this be possible if there is a no phones policy? I have now received an email saying if I don't pay the full 5 days I will be taken to a small claims court for not paying for a service that I didn't use.......Avoid this service if you don't want to be ripped off.

Exelent service!! We have been with Pet Sanctuary for 4 years now and I wouldn’t change them for anything . Officiant , always go extra mile , extremely exsperienced and knowledgable - never cancelled on us! Our pets are very, very happy with them!! Sandra

Amazing service and very dog friendly people.

I was unsure at first what to expect - having an in-home sitter to stay at my apartment and look after my puppy Isla for overnight and days while I was away for work. But I could not have asked for anything more from our sitter Nadia. She loved Isla and Isla had no problems in staying with Nadia while I wasn't there. Great communications from the Pet Sanctuary team too, to make me feel comfortable about the booking process etc.
