All the staff are incredible, friendly and I trust my pet is in good hands.
I moved quite far from this place now but I would travel miles with my pet here as I know she is in safe hands!

I've taken my dog Maggie here twice, an I dont think I would ever take her anywhere else, a year between appointments an susanne remembered when she first see her and why. Prices are very reasonable and most importantly Maggie leaves as happy as shes arrived!! ????

I’m not usually one to write bad reviews but I feel I need to share our experience so people know what kind of practice they’re thinking about visiting.
We recently took our cat for an appointment at The Vet WF, he wasn’t eating or drinking and was generally not himself at all. They couldn’t work out what was wrong with him initially and advised they wanted to do a number of blood tests to find out the problem. They confirmed the cost of the blood tests which seemed like a lot and of course would only at most detect the problem.
We decided to think about it for the time being and we let them keep him on a drip for the day. We later called to ask if there were any other options available e.g less comprehensive blood tests and the receptionist bluntly confirmed there weren’t and this was the only option. We were taken back at not only how unhelpful she was, but her unsympathetic and rude response. We were sick with worry about our cat and some empathy and understanding would have gone a long way.
On top of this, they previously prescribed antibiotics and we already explained our cat is extremely difficult when it comes to taking medication and an injection would be preferred. This was in no way acknowledged and they advised a tablet was the only option. It was only when we brought him back as we were unable to give him the medication as he'd gotten worse, they finally offered an injection. Our cat finds trips to the vet really difficult and traumatic and given his fragile state this was even worse for him and this additional trip could have been avoided.
They advised we could also get a refund for the unused antibiotics however when we showed up, the practice manager questioned us and advised this wasn’t their protocol and was hesitant to issue the refund. Upon further investigation on her end, and us having to go into the depths of our situation and frustration, did they agree to go ahead. She finally apologised and admitted she needed to better train her staff. This didn’t really mean anything to us as the initial interaction was cold and accusatory and by then we’d really just had enough.
We decided to shop around and luckily found another vet with lovely staff who offered us options at a reasonable price. We went ahead with some tests and sadly it was the news we were dreading and we had no choice but to put him to sleep. This experience was deeply distressing for us and the part The Vet WF had to play in our experience was really disappointing. We wouldn’t wish this experience on anybody and hope the practice can only retrain their staff on their correct services and basic manners and empathy considering their line of work.
Overall we were really let down by the practice and in no way do we feel animal welfare is at the heart of what they do.

One of my dogs had a serious condition and thanks to The Vet Waltham Forest acting fast she is now safe and sound and I have my life back!
We have two dogs, thankfully we were recommended this place by our close friend that has six rescue dogs, you have to feel a trust with your vets when you pass them your precious friends. We’ve been to see them several times over the years, firstly the consultation price is a bargain, they take the time to examine our dogs and always answer all our questions, and we have many:). Typically I’m weary of anything medical thrown at me as the body usually able to heal itself given the right conditions, yet here with each vet and staff I met I was constantly reassured and explained fully the reasons of the recommended treatment. The team is passionate and animal lovers.

If you have a serious complaint you will be told by the head veterinary surgeon it’s not worth complaining as he will be the one dealing with the complaint! Laughable! He is not God and there is a higher authority to address your concerns to. Rude and unprofessional!

This is the first time I have used The Vet and I have been extremely happy with the outcome. They are incredibly responsive, helpful and informative.
Especially during these tough times, they have precautions in place, and although its hard not to go into the room with your pet, they phone you immediately whilst they are examining and they gave me numerous options for tests and payment options too.
Jess, the vet, was very kind, helpful and also really informative, even phoning me out of hours with test results.
I can not thank them more for their help and I will definitely be using them again.

We were using them for about 5 years,for easy stuff like vaccinations for our 6 pets.Till end of January our toy poodle needed c-section & they butchered her.She was bleeding 24/7 fresh blood from her private part and they were telling us it’s normal.The dog wasn’t eating and only bleeding.We had to go to a specialist to fix the mistake that they did,not even sorry to tell us not even to call us to see if the dog is alive.We have payed thousands to be fixed and they have caused us so much stress & pain.We have so many pics & videos if someone wants to see.We have spoken with other vets & breeders and they have never seen something like this after c-section.They are unfortunately money makers and they have all the time different vets at their practise that made us think about it!!Poor service and they don’t care about the animals.

Cat was hit by a car and brought here. They were caring and helpful. Family was visibly upset and they allowed us to stay with him as well as assited us with his transfer to an overnight vet. My cat, Rico, is now alive and well (just minus a leg), without this vet he wouldn't be here, so I am incredibly thankful.

Took my dog here to check a lump on her ear, which was tiny, told it could be a cyst or a wart or something stuck inside, told wasnt anything vet was concerned with but if got bigger could be inoperable, so didnt give me much confidence in vet as they contradicted themself, then told it would cost me 600 to remove the cyst which i thought was a lot, i have since had a second opinion and cyst removed with local anaesthetic and turns out it was full of pus, so no insurance claim, no putting my dog through surgery and took all of 20 minutes and hardly any cost.

I only come here as I live less than a minute away, but they are truly the worst vets I've ever been to. Not only are the front of house staff rude and belligerent, there seems to be very little compassion and care towards the animals themselves. There is absolutely no point in them offering an appointment service, as I always seem to wait at least half an hour to be seen after my appointment time every time.

Just had to take my Bichon to the vet, she was itching all over ripping herself to bits and I truly mean it I could not stop her stretching.
Managed to see a vet, and with in less than 2 hours she was far more comfortable, still very itchy but scratching has eased a lot.

Fantastic vets. Always easy to get an appointment - either booked or walk in. Walk in appointments you are always kept up to date with how long it’s likely to take. Appointments never feel rushed - we’ve had quite a poorly cat this year & every vet we have seen has been really thorough & given us plenty of time. Very good approach with animals & you can tell these vets really care about getting & keeping -animals healthy & happy. Receptionists are always friendly & helpful even when it’s a busy time. Really reasonably priced for all treatments & visits. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding experience & care, with the only the focus being pet’s health and wellbeing (and not money in their coffers!) which really makes me trust them.
My pooch Petal was booked in for a operation today, to remove a lump behind her nipple. She was also going to be spayed at same time, so quite an expensive carry on. On admission I mentioned the lump seemed to have disappeared, which the vet confirmed and advised not to have operation as she
wanted to consult with a canine cancer specialist friend.
I’m absolutely buzzing with this kind of care and belief in not putting my 10 year old pup throu’ an operation , potentially unnecessarily and possibly to detriment of her health.

Great experience today. Went in with my dog who’s been on and off with illness for a while. This time for an eye infection and felt I was listened to about other issues he’s had. The vet managed to find another issue that had been missed by 2 other different local practices. Walked out feeling like our boy had a good MOT and hopefully he will start to feel a lot better with treatment. The Vet we saw was friendly, knowledgable and very good at handling my excitable terrier and we felt like he was being looked after. The reception staff also very friendly which made us feel welcome.

Paris came in for tooth extraction about a week ago , she has made a good recovery and staff have been so kind and friendly , with lots of information regarding the after care . May have been nice to see the vet upon discharge but maybe as this was a minor procedure it wasn't needed. Great to be able to come without an appointment and plenty of parking and good clean environment . would recommend and would use again

By far the best vets I have ever been to!
My dog is extremely anxious and hard to handle when taken to the vets, he becomes snappy and very temperamental, he also doesn’t like other dogs, which makes the whole experience very stressful for us both ,all of the vets and nurses there are understanding and never judge.
They go above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable and also offer to meet him outside so he doesn’t have to wait inside with the other dogs, they also have private rooms available to sit in while you wait if you have a nervous or aggressive pet.
Would give them 10 stars if I could!

Honestly the best vet I have been to. I've previously taken my cats to Pets at Home vet and haven't been very happy with their service so I wanted to register at a new vet and was recommended The Vet by a friend and a relative. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming - my cat seemed very relaxed around them especially when I left him there for surgery - I felt very comfortable leaving him in their hands. I find it so helpful you can just walk in without booking - I've never had to wait more than 10/15 mins. Also, the costs are very reasonable. Definitely recommend coming here. Thank you! x

I can't thank them enough for the exceptional service. My wife came with a dog and sleeping baby on her hands,but was treated like a queen :).
The vet took care of the dog by herself, brought the medicine and charged a reasonable price. It was well
worth traveling for half an hour to this clinic.
Recommended to everyone in London.

Took my dog here to get neutered because they were really cheap compared to anywhere else. They did a good job and I was pleased so decided to stay. My dog then developed a skin issue that needed treating and the vet at this practice prescribed the wrong dose of antibiotics... from reading the leaflet included I had to chase the vet, they admitted they were wrong and that I had to alter the dose and pick up more tablets etc. A massive faff! I am so so glad I looked in the leaflet and that I can do simple maths, not sure what I actually paid the consolation fee for to be honest! Changing vet asap

I've always been happy with the care and attention The Vet affords my dog and two cats. Everyone is really caring, and its really reassuring to know that if you have a problem you can go straight there and you will be seen. You also have the option to see a preferred vet if they are on duty, and you can check a particular vet's availability online before you go.

Took my 2 dogs in on the off chance as they needed the yearly vacation, got walk in appointment, both my dogs are anxious around other dogs so waited in car, the vet came out to us, got us in OK and spent a good amount of time with the dogs very friendly and informative, did the jabs with no fuss discussed weight and diet also parasites, all in all good service from friendly staff

I have been using this vets for about 2 years now. Took my two eight week old kittens, too be checked out. The vet very friendly and knowledgeable, took out kitten plans for them both, I think good valve for the money. Got there at 8.10 and out by 8.45 love the longer opening hours and no appointment system makes life easier when u busy. Would have no hesitation in recommending The Vets and have done to friends, family and work colleagues.

Took my dog in during the summer months, and was seen within half an hour of arriving. We saw a vet named Alex and he was absolutely fantastic. He did a very thorough examination of my boy, explained everything to us in destabilise and in ways which we would understand. After a few test he diagnosed him with dehydration due to the heat wave and straight away gave him the tablet and injections he needed. All the staff were very friendly and reassuring, Alex was brilliant and I couldn’t be more pleased and feel more looked after even if they tried! Would highly recommend this local vet, thank you for your amazing service!!

The care, service and the attitude I got from The Vets Waltham Forest is second to none! Every time I go in there I always get greeted along with my pet which they know by name and don't mind welcoming. The only criticism I have is the waiting times... I've been left waiting because of lengthy queues for upto 2 hours before! If its a quick booster shot and price isn't much of a concern, I'd say to say time, go elsewhere. But if you care about your pet and rather wait for great affectionate care, then this is the vets for you.

Our 15 years old dachshund had a dental cleaning today and she loosen 19 teeths. The vets and nurses want to be more watchful and were looking for her longer time because of her age.
