I still remember when back in those days they where a good reliable company.
Unfortunately their main focus is how to make sure their competition can’t make money so in result no customer service whatsoever they let me down terribly promised the world didn’t keep a word of it a shame such a good company going down the drain.
If I had the option I would of put my rating lower....

Drivers constantly overcharge and when you don't let yourself, they become aggressive, rude, and threatening. One driver even locked me in the car, keeping me and my daughter hostage and started driving off (from our final destination) whilst hurling abuse at me. He traumatised my daughter and myself to a terrible extent.
Speaking to Customer Service only meant one thing: Them urging me not to call the police saying it was best if they dealt with it. When I insisted that such a driver must be given the boot if he can intimidate and hold passengers hostage, and that he has proved himself to be unsafe of transporting passengers, I was told that he would get a massive telling off.
Obviously, Emess Car Service do not value the safety of their passengers.

This service came highly recommended and we booked this instead of uber as was also slightly cheaper.
When calling I asked what time they suggest we leave Camden for Gatwick airport for a 9am flight and was told 6am.
Driver was on time and very punctual BUT was not enough time as arrived at airport at 815 for our 9am flight.
What really annoyed us was him now wanting 73 pounds when we had been quoted 63 pounds.
I am not sure if he was trying to make extra for himself as when asking why we were quoted 63 he said yes but machine shows 73 pounds. We did not see a machine in the car.
Very disappointing after having been so highly recomended. I sent an email and am awaiting a repky as to why the 10 pound difference.

Booked a car on the app for 7:30pm , driver came 7:4 4pm and asked me where I was going, like it wasn't already stated on my booking? I told him the address, then he said he isn't going and drove off. I called customer care and got transferred to three different people , none of them could tell me why the driver looked at me and drove off. I thought it was rude and I would give zero star to this business if i could. That driver just spoilt it for you all and I will not patronize you again. It was only a 35 minutes ride from Stamford hill london to Wembley.

Poor service, I waited for a taxi for over an hour and after many calls to me stating that the driver was on his way, they cancelled the car.
Needless to say, I will not be recommending these guys.

So dont waste your time on calling, just download the app, its the best!

Terrible service. Promised to monitor the flight which they didn't. So I called company from luggage belt. I was told they didn't know that I landed and will dispatch a cab now. The owner tells us driver will be there no later then 30 minutes. One hour and half hours later the driver arrived besides for the point that Emes texted the driver is outside waiting when he hadn't even arrived yet.

Requested one of their cars using the Karhoo app thinking it would be 6mins for a car. Fortunately rang after approximately 6mins wait to find out it would be over an hour for a car. Absolute waste of time!

Awful customer service. Do not use this company. Cab came 40 minutes late and the guy on the phone was so rude, made out he had initially told me that there weren't any cars for 45 minutes. Used aggressive tone. Will never use them again.

Called, booked a cab and they didn't come. Left me standing in the rain and cold, without the courtesy to tell me they wouldn't do it. Might give them another chance one day, but only if all other firms are booked and I can't walk
